Chapter 175: Chapter 129: The Knight Sword of City of Slaughter and Pan God’s Request_1

Ivita frowned. "What special reason?"

"You should understand that the relationship between us shouldn’t be that good, right? My ’friend’?"

Ivita mocked him.

Pan God paid no mind to Ivita’s ridicule; he pointed to his shadow at his feet, "This special reason is absolutely beneficial only to you, not much to me. Therefore, I need you to pay me in return, take a look at my shadow."

It was then Ivita noticed that his shadow, trailed on the ground, was holding a two-meter-long knight’s sword with both hands.

Even though Pan God himself wasn’t holding anything.

Yet, his shadow held something he himself didn’t have.

Pan God bent down, and tried to wrestle the sword from his own shadow as if playing tug-of-war. Then he lifted the sword, laboriously. "I heard you have the Broken Steel Sword. Help me... help me..."

"Help me to break this!"

"Then, I’ll tell you why you can’t leave Parviga tomorrow."

Ivita looked at the Broken Steel Sword on his bedside table then back at Pan God and firmly refused, "Pan, you should understand that I won’t aid you in any way."

"As for whether you tell me the information or not, that’s up to you."

With the example of Witch Anna and Fire Demon, he would not foolishly help Pan God.

What if this knight’s sword was something essential to mankind?

Wouldn’t he have been taken advantage of then?

Pan God smiled cunningly. "I see."

"You’re worried that I’ll deceive you and have you do something detrimental to mankind. But you’re worried too much."

"This item has nothing to do with mankind or the Son of the Forest; it only interferes with druids’ interests."

"I need you to break this sword because it sealed an important artifact of the druids - it’s no harm in telling you its name, the Element King Crown Shard of the Druids."

"This sword doesn’t belong to mankind; it’s from a place inside the Dark Magic Forest called Meiminggenbao. Once, this sword driven a drunkard to murder his entire family, tormenting the fragile man to mistakenly believe that he did it all whilst sleepwalking."

"The knight, gripped by this sword, became the sword’s slave."

"All these are blamed on The Time War; a certain being sealed a demon into this sword, using it to seal the Element King Crown Shard of the Druids."

"This demon’s sword has a name - The Knight Sword of the City of Slaughter."

Pan God intentionally made a troubled expression, shaking his head. "I’ve tried various ways, unable to cut this sword."

"At this moment, I thought of the Broken Steel Sword in your hand."

"So I specifically came to find you."

"However, I can’t come empty-handed, yet we Druids are poor, hence I thought of helping you in exchange for your reward."

"Just now, didn’t I answer three of your questions? This is my sincerity."

Ivita was embarrassed.

No wonder Pan God was so generous.

Turns out he needed a favor.

Ivita said, "I can’t confirm whether what you’re saying is true."

"You might just be spouting nonsense, Pan, I’ve always thought that you have no bottom line."

Pan God spread his hands innocently, "That must be because your knowledge of me is filled with prejudice."

"No one else can treat me so courteously."

Ivita said only four words, making Pan God’s face change significantly. "Clock Kingdom."

Pan God squinted; the deliberate and ridicule expression on his face stiffened then he became serious, this was his true attitude./p>

Pan God looked at Ivita with some discontent, "So you refuse to help me then?"

Ivita took the silver necklace with the Hand of Mana and put it in his hand. "Whether I help you or not, I need to confirm if you’ve lied."

Pan God glanced at the necklace in Ivita’s hand in surprise. "Oh, it’s the Wishing Necklace, you’re really lucky, such a thing has fallen into your hands."

"How much did you spend to get it?"

Ivita looked at Pan God, "It was given to me by an enemy I killed before his death. Do you want to give me one too?"

Pan God touched his nose and didn’t take the bait.

Ivita touched the surface of the necklace and recited ’I wish’, then a green flame came out of the necklace.

The flame transformed into an Elf Cat.

As soon as making an appearance, the Elf Cat blustered, "What human dares to disturb my nap, state your wish, no matter what it is, I can fulfil it for you!"

The next moment, it saw Pan God with its cat eyes; the Elf Cat immediately backed away half a step, its fur standing on end.

The Elf Cat remarked to Ivita, "Master, he’s...he’s terrifying."

"Why is it that every time you call me out, the stranger in front of you is always so terrifying?"

The Elf Cat was about to cry out of grief.

It had had many previous masters, but only when with Ivita, each appearance would bring a ’surprise’.

Ivita didn’t want to joke with a cat in front of a formidable enemy.

He ordered the Elf Cat, "I need to confirm the origin of Pan God’s sword."

The Elf Cat immediately refused. "Unable to confirm, the origin of that sword should be from a place beyond the Ambros Plain."
