Chapter 1043: Volume 33, Where to Go, Chapter 30, The Battle that Sways the City (13)

"Lord Komer, quite interesting. It seems this time I won’t be disappointed and return empty-handed," Caesar finally grinned, his little finger hooking the Knight Spear with ease. The thick and spirited Knight Spear roared into the sky, lifting the ground’s dust and debris. With a casual pull from Caesar’s arm, the Knight Spear, like a nimble azure dragon roaming through the clouds, glided in front of Caesar, before finally landing steadily in the palm of his hand.

The Knight Spear was casually lifted in Caesar’s hand, and within the entire semi-circular attack radius, one could feel the waves of murderous intent.

Shatima finally understood why everyone from Komer to Mihailovich was so nervous about this person. Even from ten meters away, Shatima could clearly sense the opponent’s bone-chilling murderous intent pressing against her own dragon’s pulse. Even though the Dragon’s Dark Scales had already risen around her body, they still couldn’t contend with the fierce momentum, while the opponent appeared so casual and relaxed, as if he was facing a group of insignificant ants.

This is what a true human strongman is like. Shatima glanced at Komer. Komer still appeared very calm and composed, the Black Crystal Scepter in his hand subtly shaking, with magic power coursing through the scepter’s black crystal at a crazy pace. Magic power was enhancing step by step—the power of the Black Crystal Staff. It could easily fuse the magic power evoked by its wielder with the surrounding space’s Magic Elements, boosting the overall magic power by at least twenty percent.

Shatima’s gaze touched lightly with Komer’s, as if they both understood each other’s intentions. Shatima suddenly let out a shrill cry. Wind Magic naturally formed within her body, like a drawn sharp sword, and the hefty Dragon Spear created a fierce gust as it boldly plunged towards Caesar, who was leisurely waiting.

Almost at the same time, the three stacked spells that Komer had invoked silently took effect on Shatima—Strength Enhancement Magic, Speed Magic, Solidification Magic! Strength Enhancement Magic could boost Shatima’s attack power for a brief period, Speed Magic could improve her reaction speed and agility, and as for Solidification Magic, it was the fastest way to elevate Shatima’s defensive power to the highest realm.

Caesar coldly surveyed this humanoid Dragon Knight who was starting to fall into a Berserk State. Undoubtedly, the guy had cast a magical blessing on this Dragon Knight. The Dragon Spear’s aura bursting in front of him had already exploded three meters away, causing Caesar to involuntarily frown slightly. A Dragon Knight did not concern him, but beside this fellow were two Magic Puppet Warlords, seemingly made of Magic Metal. Although they were not enough to suppress him, that Undead Assassin was a considerably dangerous character.

If it were under normal circumstances, Caesar was confident that he could settle that Undead Assassin or Magic Puppet Warlord within ten bouts, but now nobody would give him ten bouts. The agile Undead Assassin seemed to have decided to coordinate with this violent Dragon Knight in launching an attack. The frosty Light Balls formed from the two sinisterly chilly stilettos were enough to prove that the Undead Assassin’s Demonic Fighting Qi was not just for show, but that he had genuinely reached the profound realm of making the intangible tangible.

As Shatima raised the Dragon Spear and erupted forward, the Hammer of Thor that Komer had stimulated also finally materialized in the air. Lome’s magic power support from behind allowed Komer to launch his magic attacks without worries, from the Hammer of Thor to the Mud Giant Demon, from the Hand of the Demon to Dark Erosion. He nearly pushed out all his trump cards in one breath to seize the initiative; he knew that once Caesar gained the upper hand, to turn the tides, it would mean a much higher cost would have to be paid.

Gigantic legs as thick as mountains emerged from the rolling dark clouds, and immediately after, an equally terrifying giant hand clutching the Hammer of Thor danced out of the blackness. Amidst the booming peals of thunder, a curtain-like electric net suddenly descended from the sky, enveloping the entire half of the square within it.

Noyola’s eyes shone brightly, and with a sweeping motion of her left hand, a dazzling arc of light suddenly streaked across the air—it was the Bright Sky!

The relentless lightning strikes and electric arcs seemed to be drawn to this rather unassuming display of the Bright Sky, hitting it fiercely. The violence of the attack caused mist to rise up and half of the space seemed to twist open, becoming blurred and indistinct.

As the three Mud Giant Demons were just about to charge within three meters of Caesar, they were instantly turned to dust and soil by a sharp twirl of the Knight Spear in his hands. The Hand of the Demon had barely emerged from the ground, sprouting tendrils when it was ignited and burned by the Holy Light Technique summoned by Noyola. Komer had never expected that his few moves would be able to contend with both Caesar and Noyola, but he did harbor a sliver of hope that they might entangle his opponents momentarily. However, he didn’t anticipate that in the blink of an eye, the Mud Giant Demons would turn to dust and the Hand of the Demon would already be on its way to becoming a pile of ashes in the Holy Light Fire before even becoming useful.

The only thing that might have offered Komer a glimmer of solace was the Dark Erosion. This devouring magic, originating from the Dark Origin, activated a few degrees slower than the previous magic spells, but because the earlier spells had diverted the attention of Noyola and Caesar, by the time they sensed the dense dark aura around them, the Dark Erosion had already begun in earnest. The invisible devouring magic power entwined around Caesar and Noyola, causing the Holy Light Fire to be suppressed and shrink significantly.

Komer mustered all his strength to summon magic power again, supported by magic power, the mud rose in the wind and transformed back into three Mud Giant Demons, roaring and lunging fiercely towards Caesar. The Hand of the Demon also managed to catch a brief respite, using the support of dark power to forcefully strip away the Holy Light Fire, tenaciously repairing itself. Dark green tendrils suddenly leapt up in the air, quickly coiling around with a slick motion.

Caesar hummed softly through his nostrils—this guy’s tricks are indeed quite varied, but in his eyes, they were all just mere child’s play.

With a light tap of his fingers three times in succession, the three Mud Giant Demons, previously baring their teeth and claws, deflated like punctured balloons, falling limp to the ground. No matter how strongly Komer activated his magic power, the mud and dust could no longer coalesce; deprived of the effect of the magic elements, the mud was nothing more than mud and no longer constituted the limbs of the Mud Giant Demons. Komer was astonished to find that the force in those three flicks of the opponent’s fingers had actually scattered the power of the Earth Element, dissipating it. What immense strength was this?!
