Chapter 85: Solar System & Other Planets

ROAAARRR!!!

"Raaaarghhh!!! Dieeeee!!!" I roared, the sound of my voice echoing through the air.

With my current strength, it only took less than a minute to finish off all the T-Rexes that had invaded my mansion.

[You have slain a Colossal Blue T-Rex!]

[You have slain a Colossal Blue T-Rex!]

[You have slain a Colossal Blue T-Rex!]

...

...

"Hahaha! Easy peasy! Fucking idiots, that’s what you guys get for destroying my mansion!" I cursed, stepping over their fallen bodies.

Without wasting another moment, I quickly rounded them up one by one and dragged them to the butcher’s house. There, I butchered them up and prepared it for lunch, dinner, and even for the upcoming days. And, of course, the bones were set aside, either for decoration or to be used in building other things or for more creative projects.

A week later...

Once again, nothing had changed. The portals scattered across the floating islands remained exactly as they always were—inactive and unresponsive, just like every other day. It was as if time itself had frozen around them, leaving nothing to do but wait. But of course, I couldn’t sit around doing nothing. So, as usual, my mind started wandering.

Suddenly, an idea hit me like a bolt of lightning. Why not build a massive, glorious castle just for myself? A towering fortress that would become my home, my kingdom, my sanctuary in this vast, uncharted wilderness of nothing but breathtaking prehistoric forests. The thought alone sent a thrill of excitement through me.

I could already picture it: high stone walls, sprawling courtyards, and grand rooms filled with everything I could ever want. I could practically feel the weight of the first stone in my hands. Without wasting another second, I was already planning how to make it happen. I couldn’t wait to get started.

"Alright, let’s do this!" I said, feeling pumped.

Right away, I started shaping all the giant rocks I found into perfect square blocks. I wasn’t sure how many I would need—possibly thousands, if not millions—but I was determined to craft as many as I could to build a gigantic grand majestic castle.

...

...

A year later...

After approximately a year of hard work, I finally finished building my grand castle. It was enormous, majestic, royal, and, honestly, the most impressive thing I’d ever done. Every towering wall and intricate detail felt like a triumph, and for a few weeks, I was genuinely happy and satisfied. I had created something incredible, something to be proud of.

But, as with all things, the happiness only lasted temporarily. The excitement eventually wore off, leaving me with the same emptiness I thought I’d escaped. Before I knew it, I was back to feeling sad and lonely, staring at my creation and questioning what it was all for. The castle, for all its grandeur, couldn’t fill the void in my heart.

By now, I believed it had been over five years since I arrived and settled here. It was hard to keep track anymore—time just blended together. At first, I kept myself busy building, exploring, and figuring out how to survive. But, as usual, the loneliness and depression grew worse as time went by. The silence felt louder every day, and there was no one here to talk to or even share this world with.

At this point, I figured it was time to leave this planet for good and venture into space. The only reason I had stayed in this world all these years was hoping that one day the portal would activate, allowing me to return to the colossal alien spaceship and take my revenge. But unfortunately, even after so many years had passed by, the portal still remained stubbornly unresponsive.

Currently, inside my brand-new epic castle, in one of my personal grand bedrooms, I was simply done.

"Fuck this!!!" I shouted, completely losing my cool. The room, all fancy with its tapestries and big furniture, wasn’t doing a thing to help me chill out. I grabbed a chair in frustration and threw it across the room, watching it smash into the wall. I was beyond pissed, and nothing seemed to calm me down.

BREAK!

After a brief moment of collecting my thoughts, I managed to calm myself down.

With a deep breath, I left the room and made my way through the hallways, eventually stepping out into a vast garden. The air here was fresh, and the gentle rustle of the leaves brought a sense of peace, but my gaze soon drifted upward. The sky above was a brilliant shade of bright blue, its beauty almost overwhelming.

I stood in the picturesque garden for a while, letting the serene atmosphere wash over me. Yet, even as I admired the view, a harsh realization settled in my mind. It seems I have no choice after all... If I truly want to escape this planet, the only option left is to take a bold leap into space.

Is it risky? Of course. But I don’t see any point in wasting time and staying here, hoping the portals in the floating islands up there will suddenly start working one day. Because from what I can tell, I don’t think the portals will ever become functional. At least, that’s how it seems to me.

And even if they did... the real question is, how much more longer do I have to wait? Ten years? A hundred years? A thousand years? A million years?

From what I’ve heard, the time here moves differently than in the outside world—at least, according to what the aliens told me the last time. Now, I’m not sure if such information was accurate or not, but I don’t see any reason for the aliens to lie, so it must’ve been true after all.

However, what really confused me the most was when the alien mentioned "the outside world." I couldn’t quite figure out what that was supposed to mean. From everything I’d seen so far, it seemed like the aliens had simply just dumped me on some random planet to take part in their so-called final trial.

So what’s with this "outside world" talk? It just didn’t make sense. But whatever, I’m not going to waste my time thinking about it too much. Besides, I have no clue how their advanced technology works anyway.

For now, I’m just gonna leave this prehistoric world behind and check out other planets within this solar system. No point in sticking around here when there’s more to explore out there.

"Alright! Time to explore other planets!" I said, feeling both pumped and excited.
