Chapter 289: Little champs

The girl pretended to look away in a manner that was intended to tell Liam that she was mad at him, but she failed because she looked so cute and so pink at the moment.

Of course, with such a look, he couldn’t equally take her seriously because instead of looking angry, she looked like a beautiful flower, one that was just busy throwing a tantrum.

"Okay, okay, love, I won’t talk about that right now, but I won’t shut about it either."

Liam replied as he chuckled before going back to her side as he started observing her from head to toe, wanting to make sure that she was okay.

"You haven’t told me how you’re feeling, baby. Are you feeling any pain anywhere? Hmm?"

Liam gently asked as he looked at some of the wires that were still connected to her body, fearing that if he were to unplug any then it was to be something that won’t give a good result.

Jane just shook her head, telling him that she was okay but just extremely weak.

Liam nodded back in understanding as he pampered her with forehead kisses, face kisses as he proceeded to he kiss her everywhere, trying to tell her that whatever pain she had been feeling before is now going to end because he was here to make sure it ends.

As the man was lifting her gown with an intention of kissing her belly, he was immediately stopped by a hand, though the action seemed to be a little weak, but at least it worked..

Liam confusedly looked back at her only to see her shaking her head at him.

"Your actions will lead us to something that we’re not supposed to be doing right now, so unless you want to be rolling in bed with me, even in this situation, you continue doing what you’re doing."

Liam was initially feeling so disheartened when he thought that she was stopping him because of the scar that she got during her C-section, but he felt so delighted to know that it was the other way round.

What Liam didn’t know is that she didn’t focus on that scar because she had not even seen it yet. But the moment she was going to see it, then she was going to have some little bit of issues here and there because in the period of nine months he had tried taking the scar off, but no matter what medicine he used, the scar didn’t leave. If anything it just stayed prominent and looked so proud.

He had thought several times of seeing Mary and if she would be of any help, but he decided not to do anything further because the decision was going to be his woman’s.

Even with or without the scar, he still loves her..

The man smirked at her naughty thoughts when he realized that there was no single trace of joke on her face. She looked so serious when she said that, she looked like she was about to devour him there and then and he would be honestly down for it!

"Why don’t you try it then, baby?"

"Stupid! You are a father behave like one."

Jane playfully smacked him as the two laughed heartedly before finally relaxing at the silence of the room took over.

"Liam?"

"Yes, my love?"

"I want to see our kids. Where are they?"

Jane replied in a slow and quiet voice but the excitement in that voice and the excitement on her face couldn’t beat the fact that the girl felt her hands itching to hold her baby’s for the first time.

Liam couldn’t help but smack himself on the face because for the first time when he chose to let them stay with their great grandparents, then their mother woke up and their mother was looking for them....oh!

"They are at the Lu mansion with grandma and grandpa. I took them there because of the party, you know I couldn’t carry them to the party. Yeah, we had to unveil our kids together. So I decided to let them spend time with their great grandparents and of course when I came back it was extremely late and it’s guaranteed that they were already resting, so I decided to let them be as I will be picking them tomorrow."

Liam spoke in one breath afraid that she wouldn’t understand him if he said it in bits.

"Speaking of tomorrow.."

Liam looked at his expensive watch on his wrist, only to realize that they had close to two hours to sunrise, and the man couldn’t help but marvel at the situation because he realized that he had not slept the whole night and that he did not feel any single wick of sleep simply because she woke up.

The excitement of seeing her talking to him and seeing her saying, laughing, or even engaging with him made him lose all the sleep that he had in plan and he had in mind.

"Oh...okay..."

Jane replied back disappointedly, her hands itching even further because this time, anticipation was included.

"Yes, baby. Don’t worry though, you’re going to see them in the morning. You’re going to hold our beautiful kids tomorrow in your hands. You are going to hold them tomorrow...."

Liam sweetly made her relax as his thumb played with the back of her hand quietly, as both were in. their own world of thoughts.

"What did you name them?"

Jane proceeded to curiously ask once again, only to receive a light chuckle from Liam.

"The day you brought two little naughty kids to the world is the day, that you equally temporarily left and I promised myself that I’m not going to name them until their mother wakes up. We were going to them together, so for the past nine months, everyone has been referring to them as little champs, and that’s how they are..".

Jane looked at him in shock.

"You... Oh Liam..."

"So you mean to tell me that if even I was too even if... if I was to wake up two years later than they would still be referred to as champs everywhere?"

Jane shakily pointed at Liam, her voice immediately stuttering because her husband’s actions were so cute, sweet and considerate.

Who doesn’t get to name their children and instead wait for their partner’s awakening?

Liam nodded gently as he kissed her cheek slightly proceeding to run his thumb across it as he noticed her eyes starting to wet with tears, and the man did not give her a chance to cry as he immediately kissed those teary eyes making the girl smile gently at him.

Jane looked at the face that was so close, and her heart couldn’t help but skip a beat as she slowly lifted her other hand, putting it on his face gently as she ran it across his jaw, as she ran it under his eyes as she booped his nose, lightly running her thumb across his soft lips, his eyebrows and his everything in general.

This was her man.

And the more she looked at him, the more pleased she felt because he looked so handsome, he looked so sophisticated and lost. Ocean blue eyes, Yes, those ocean blue eyes were going to be the death of her because they looked so beautiful, so sharp, so amazing, So sexy and so inviting. She wanted everything that came with him, Everything.

The same way a dog or a cat will burrow its face deeper into the hands of its owner as it’s being petted, is the same way Liam reacted as he made sure to burrow his face deeply and in a comfortable position as she carefully observed him, and as she carefully touched him. He felt so good, so ticklish, and so aroused.

It has been a long time since she touched any part of him, and now that she is busy touching and running her hand across his face, he couldn’t help but imagine when she ran her hands across.....

"Yeah, you’d better get that mind out of the gutter, Liam."

Jane had naturally noticed Liam’s arousal, and she couldn’t help but immediately warn the man who just shrugged his shoulders as if telling her that she was responsible for the arousal.

Her eyes darted from his face, his innocent looking ocean eyes down to his lower part of the body as she darted back once again and raising her brow at him and proceeding to lightly chuckle.

"How will you sleep though?"

As if Liam had realized a big problem, he immediately sat up as he started analyzing the machines, intending to take his wife out of them and take her to their bed, where he was going to hug her to sleep tightly.

"How oh...."

"It’s okay Liam. We’ll find a way out. Don’t stress yourself. I think right now, until I’m checked by Ryan and other professionals, then you cannot remove them. Don’t want anything bad to happen after God has favored us this far."

Jane immediately comforted Liam the moment she realized his predicament and where he was coming from, but again, they couldn’t risk anything at the moment until they were cleared by Ryan. Furthermore, she was starting to feel a little bit dizzy. Maybe she was about to drift into trying to sleep.

Liam had equally noticed it too. Even though he did not want her to go back to sleep, he feared that maybe she was going to go back into the coma but again, he couldn’t stop her, nor could he not respect how she felt at the moment.

He looked at the other bed that he normally used to wheel close to hers as he slept in this room, and he realized that it was still wet from the patch of water that it had just absorbed earlier and the man couldn’t help but grumble in annoyance because he wanted to sleep next to her.

Jane almost burst out laughing the moment she saw the man leave the room and come back with a similar mattress for the other bed, a bed that can be wheeled so as to make sure that he could get as close as he could to her.

She watched him change the mattress and the bedding as he quietly and carefully wheeled it and made sure that it was on the same level as her bed as from afar it looked like one big bed.

The man took off his shoes as he climbed on the other side of the bed and immediately scooched as closer as he could get to Jane, a situation that made him feel so relaxed, so giddy and so happy.
