"Did you hear that?"

"What? quick spilled the beans!"

"There’s an article that has been spreading, saying that the CEO of Lu Corporation, Jane Lu is in partly dead...She’s in a coma."

"What? Are you for real? No wonder we have not been seeing the couple in the business world for the past few months!"

"Yeah, but I heard she gave birth peacefully and that they are twin boys! Oh and they resemble their father so much!"

"Poor Mr Yang! I’m sad. Do you mean that maybe there’s a chance for another person to become Mrs yang?"

"I guess because the articles say that she’s never going to wake up and that they’re just having hopes in putting her and connecting her to the machines. Otherwise they should just unplug everything and let her die peacefully."

"Oh my! Let me go talk to my mother real quick. I think it’s now time. Mrs Young, here I come!"

It has been officially nine months since Jane fell into a coma and since she gave birth to the twins, and of course, since Liam transformed.

During this period of time, Liam stopped wallowing and started working towards another goal for his family because he felt like he was going to wallow in pity forever, yet he should be preparing and growing further.

This is what equally pushed him to take back the company from his father, despite the protests from his parents telling him that he should be focusing on himself but the man was still not willing to hear a word from them as he felt like he was supposed to be building himself, his family and not wallowing in pity each and every second.

Due to this, Liam took the company back 1 ½ months ago and his presence back into the business world shook each and every person because he came back at the same time the news was starting to circulate and it even shocked the country and the people of country X because Liam did not deny that fact. In fact, he solely took an interview that focused on this matter and explained that something had happened and his wife fell into a coma, but she was going to be back anytime soon and that as long as she’s not yet back, he was going to run both Yang and Lu coperation at the same time because that was his wife’s pride.

Father Yang and Father Lu did not bother saying anything. In short, the Lu and the yang family did not bother fighting with him because they felt he was right. They had passed down the rights of the l companies a long time ago to the young ones and of course both Liam and Jane had their say in these companies and they were just by standers.

To them, it was in their place to see the happiness of their children, even though they have been visiting Jane from time to time, seeing her complexion getting better but her not waking up, but still, it gave them hope that one day she was going to be back with them.

Liam had decided that he was going to step in as the CEO of both Yang Corporation and Lu Corporation because he had seen his wife’s plans and wishes that she had to put forward for Lu cooperation, but unfortunately an accident happened and he promised that he was going to fulfill each and every wish that she had for that company and to fulfill it he was going to take that position as the CEO. He was going to run both companies at the same time and take care of his twins at the same time, take care of his wife at the same time, and he guaranteed himself that he was going to do it because for him, he was doing it for his family.

If he were to be frank, he didn’t care what his other family members thought or what the outside world thought, because for him, his little family really mattered. Their happiness really mattered and if he were to be honest, he felt a little bit giddy inside knowing that one day Jane was going to wake up and see the progress that he had put for Lu cooperation and the height that he had taken the company to, an action that he knew he was going to be rewarded for very well.

Just like his employees who would work round the clock to provide for their families and make sure their families are safe and that they are eating safe, sleeping safe and are having everything that they should be having and feeling how our family should be feeling, is the same way he is doing it for his little family.

Apart from that, he had also started teaching the twins a couple of things and he could be called a lucky father because these children seemed to have a very extreme and dangerous IQ that they learned quite a number of things even before hitting the mark of one year.

They were just nine months old, but the ruckus that they could cause and the chaos that their little thoughts would cause or their little actions would cause is something that still amazes the Big Six up to date.

As for Liam, he could say that he was just a proud father, seeing that his children were one sharp pair of twins and he was glad because he felt like he needed someone alongside him to protect Jane, and he can say that instead of getting one, he got two, two young men who are going to help him protect their mother and it could be said that he had already planted these thoughts inside their heads.

Despite the fact that they could not understand everything, they knew that they should be protective of this woman who they call mama, this woman that their father has been familiarizing them with for the past nine months since they were born.

It took the business world a couple of days to finally settle and for the dust to finally die down after the announcement was officially made that Liam was going to step in as the CEO of Lu Corporation while still being the CEO of Yang Corporation, Something that made a lot of people think that maybe Jane was not going to wake up and something that caused yet another ruckus in the upper class society because the people felt like there should be auditions for a new mrs young very soon, a good stepmother to the pair of twins who had not yet been photographed or even seen anywhere but their existence was known of.

Of course Liam had seen this news, but he just didn’t bother because to him, he knew that no one would ever replace Jane in his heart. Even if she was in a coma, no one was able to shake that position in his heart, and he could swear that if anyone dared to try him, in any wrong way, then they were going to collect the corpse of this person because this time around he is not the soft Liam, but he is just a very different breed, different from the time before he dated Jane. In short, he is now a very overbearing and dangerous CEO, one that shouldn’t be messed with but of course, people never learn.

It can also be said that in this period of months a lot of things had changed in the country as quite a number of aristocratic families started growing, coming up the ladder, new families replacing the old ones that died. There are families which had climbed up the ladder and replaced these families and therefore most of them felt like they had the right to fight for the title of Mrs. Yang.

"Son, you have to hold a ceremony. It’s a beautiful occasion for our family and a beautiful milestone for you and Jane, so of course you have to."

Mother Lu softly whispered to her son-in-law as she coaxed him because the man was just so detached that she felt the pain as a mother. The fact that her daughter was in a coma was enough pain for her, but seeing her son-in-law suffering this much, she felt like she was responsible for this, but at the same time felt helpless and defenseless.

Liam looked at his mother-in-law and for the first time he felt like he wanted to cry because this woman who was so carefree around him, who could hug him anytime, who could speak to him in any way because they used to be so close, now fears him to the point that she tries to soften her voice every time she’s speaking to him. He felt like their relationship ended up cracking from time to time, and he knew he was very much responsible for that, but at the same time he did not know how to remedy the situation.

In fact, the situation was the same to his family, the rest of the Big Six. The crack was so large that the only people that he would laugh and interact with so well were the little kids, his nephew and nieces that he wanted to talk to his family, he wanted to remedy the situation back, but he just felt so... "It’s okay , mom. It’s okay. I think I’ll e-mail Dan to start off the process of preparing."

Mother Lu saw the little smile that Liam gave her and the same soft tone that he spoke with and she couldn’t help but gasp, because this is the first time since her daughter’s situation that she had seen her son-in-law smile and she couldn’t deny the fact that she was so happy that her hands started shaking.

"Don’t worry about it. Don’t you worry about it... It... just take care of my beautiful grandsons and I’ll deal with everything. I will send you the information. Yeah, just leave it to me. Let me handle it. Bye!"

As if she had been energized, Mother Lu immediately jolted out of her seat as she ran out of Liam’s house, intending to immediately started the process to prepare for the party that was to put in to be put in place as Liam ascended as the CEO of Lu cooperation.

Liam softly smiled as he saw his mother-in-law walking away, more like running away, because every time he looked at her, he saw Jane, smile. Everything just reminded him of Jane and for the first time, instead of feeling pain since she fell into a coma, he felt relieved because at least he can see her smiling through someone else.

"I miss you so much, my love. It’s been nine months. When are you coming to me?"
