As Ryan held his daughter and looked so fascinated as he looked at the small hands, the small body, the small everything, he couldn’t help but notice how Chloe could giggle once in a while, and before even asking what was making her feel that way, he had a strong feeling it had something to do with the fact that he fainted the moment he saw his daughter.

"It’s no longer funny, babe."

"Says the man who can easily operate someone’s brain. Says the man who can easily maneuver in the operating room but immediately fails when he sees a little human before him. Mind you, his little human."

Chloe then proceeded to burst out in laughter after her statement, and at this point Ryan had completely given up.

From the elders, Mr. and Mrs. Yang, to the Lu family and everyone else, the family maneuvered as they held both baby girls, each one of them immediately falling in love with the two little humans.

Jane was seriously holding Amara as she studied the girl from head to her little toes, and the more she observed her, the more she felt like this child was about to be a whole carbon copy of her brother and she couldn’t help but pity Chloe.

Imagine carrying a baby for a whole 9 to almost ten months, only for the child to come out resembling his dad, carrying his dad’s mannerism, and not even a single display of the mother’s genes in their child!!

If Jane knew she was going to experience the same thing in a few, a situation where Liam’s genes were completely going to overthrow hers, she couldn’t have dared to open her mouth further.

"Not yet???Are you people not doing your work?!"

It had been close to four hours and Mary had not yet given birth, although they could hear her screaming due to the pain resulting from her contractions.

At this point, Ian was absolutely going mad because he couldn’t imagine his woman being in pain for that long, and neither could he imagine what the doctors were doing.

He was not that knowledgeable on how birth process is or on how contraction takes place and on how long it should be. What he knew is that his woman was suffering and that he did not like it a little bit. He had equally promised himself that if nothing happened in the next 30 minutes, then he was going to storm into the hospital room and stick with his woman, not caring about the hospital policies anymore.

"Relax son and all will be well."

"She’s suffering, mom. She’s suffering!"

Emily gently patted Ian’s back as she comforted the young man because she was equally concerned about her daughter being in labor for such a long period of time.

The rest of the family was engrossed in the two newborn princesses, but they still checked in on Mary once in a while, and the more they heard that she had not yet come out of labor, the worried they became, especially the men who had no knowledge on the concept of birth processes and on what happens during birth.

"Finally!"

Twenty whole minutes had passed and Ian was preparing himself to burst into the room when he heard a shout from the inside and followed by a very loud cry that stopped him on his toes.

"That... My child!"

"My child! Mom!! Why child!!"

He immediately turned to the woman who was close to him and immediately gave Emily a peck, earning a glare from Daniel as he immediately surrounded his woman because he felt like this young man was crossing his boundaries and he did not like it a little bit. First of all, he had knocked up his daughter and now he wants his wife too? Oh! Over his dead body!

All of them burst out in laughter as they noticed Daniel’s reaction and the Daniel in the story did not even bother hiding his displeasure at end, but because the man had just become a new father, he was not going to probe much, but he was going to make sure that Ian pays for it.

"Mr. Mo."

If the nurse could have been late, then she could have been carrying a very round little red nose because Ian threw the door at her and she was able to get out of his way out of reflex.

Ian immediately rushed towards Mary’s side and saw how tired she looked, how pressured she looked and he couldn’t help but take out his handkerchief and wipe the sweat out of her forehead, out of her face, before going down on his knees and hugging her so tight but at the same time giving her enough air to breathe.

"Thank you so much baby. Thank you so much. You’re so beautiful! You’re so wonderful. Thank you for bringing our little one into this world. Thank you, baby. Thank you..."

Mary was too tired to speak, but she just nodded as one could notice that she was about to drift into unconsciousness and before Ian could speak further, the girl had already drifted into unconsciousness and the man panicked, but was immediately explained to by the nurse that she was just tired and that she needed to be transferred to another room as she rested.

Ian nodded before turning towards the other nurse, who was holding a small human in a blue blanket and Ian couldn’t help but feel a little bit of disappointment because he wanted a little girl, one that resembled Mary but the moment he realized that Mary’s genes might be very, very strong and that he was going to have a hard time maneuvering with someone who carried all her genes, he immediately felt relieved when he saw the little young man who he assumed was going to take after his calm nature but how wrong he was! How wrong Ian was!

"Come here little man, come to Papa..."

"Do you have a name for him, Mr. Mo?"

"My wife will kill me if I mention the name before she is awake, so to be on the safe side, we will name him after she wakes up."

The nurses laughed as they immediately went to start preparing to transfer Mary to another room as they left the new dad holding his little human looking so fascinated by the little toes, the small head, the still closed eye and the loud crying.

One could see his nose crunched up as he was trying to figure out how he was going to calm this little human and mother Mo and Emily couldn’t help but shake their heads in helplessness as they headed towards the young man and took the baby out of his hands.

The moment the baby was in Mother Mo’s hands, he immediately relaxed and stopped crying as he opened his eyes and one could see him turn to look at his father as if he was blaming him for not having the abilities to actually make a baby calm down.

Ian thought he was tweaking but the moment he heard everyone laughing, he couldn’t believe that his minutes born child had immediately put him in his place and he couldn’t help but face palm himself when he realized that these were Mary’s genes at work and that in terms of genes, he might have given the young man his face but he took everything else from his mother.

"Very good. At least someone will have enough time to put you in your place!"

One could see Daniel grinning from side to side as he was rejoicing in Ian’s misfortune making the young man wonder how he had wronged his father in law but not intending to probe much on the situation.

"Everyone is giving birth except for me. Oh, this is so frustrating! But anyway, come here little man. Let me see you..."

Of course, Jane wouldn’t be Jane if she doesn’t complain from time to time and as she held the little boy in her hands, she couldn’t help but once again, become intruged and curious, because she didn’t know who she was going to push out. A boy, a girl, both girls, or both boys but what she knew is that she was going to push out very healthy babies.

Liam was behind her as they studied the baby together and as they finally held him altogether, they couldn’t help but envision holding their child in such a manner and the other couldn’t help but let them be in their little bubble for some time because they were the only ones who had not yet experienced parenthood.

The elders, on the other hand, were grinning from ear to ear, and one could see how they had refused to let go of the baby girls because they were just so in happiness. In just a day, they all became great grandparents, and they couldn’t wait to spoil these children from time to time.

"When are they coming out??"

"I.. I don’t know!"

"Useless thing! I shouldn’t have partnered with you!"

The woman looked at the man insulting her in pure hatred and couldn’t help but grit her teeth in anger.
