It was believable that the Shen Family had taught her some martial skills, but Qinglan’s ruthlessness and precision, targeting vital points and incapacitating burly men with a single move, did not seem like something the Shen Family would teach their daughter.

Gu Yang and Gu Kai, who had been trained by Old Sir Fu since childhood, acknowledged that even they couldn’t do the same, except maybe Fu Hengyi.

And not to mention her racing skills; nobody in the Shen Family was into racing, not even Jun Yu.

"It’s not our place to concern ourselves with that matter," Gu Kai said coldly.

Gu Yang shut up. He was just curious and voiced his thoughts, but Gu Kai made it seem so serious.

The next morning, Qinglan woke up early as usual for a run and then took a shower before heading to her dorm room.

When she arrived at the dormitory, Yu Xiaoxuan and Fang Tong were already up, having finished washing up and were waiting for Qinglan. Unlike usual, even the typically carefree Yu Xiaoxuan was wearing a rather ladylike dress today and had applied light makeup.
