The Tycoon's Mysterious Darling Wife -
Chapter 244. Found
Chapter 244: 244. Found
Bart frowned, somewhat impatiently, feeling like all his blood was about to ignite. The thing he wanted most right now was to devour this little fairy before him, "What’s wrong?"
"Mr. Bart, I’m going to change my clothes first."
"No need to change, you’ll be taking them off anyway."
Jin Enxi’s hand rested on Bart’s chest, her fingers gently drawing circles on it, "It’s not easy for me to be with my dream guy, I want to try something different, indulge me a bit," she pouted slightly, coquettishly.
Bart’s heart melted instantly, and he playfully smacked her butt, "Alright, go and come back soon."
Jin Enxi let out a seductive smile, pinched the little cherry on his chest, "Wait for me. I’ll be right back."
With that, she grabbed her bag and walked out, while Bart lay on the bed, staring at the ceiling with a smile.
"Snap." Suddenly the light went out, and Bart sat up abruptly from the bed, reaching subconsciously for something in the drawer of the bedside table when Jin Enxi’s voice came from the darkness, "Mr. Bart, I turned off the light. I’m coming in now."
Hearing this, Bart relaxed his hand, chided himself for being too cautious, and smiled, lying back down.
The bedroom door opened and a woman’s silhouette appeared before Bart, a faint perfume scent filling the room, "Mr. Bart, my new perfume, do you like it?"
Bart’s look was mesmerized; he nodded, "I like it. Come here, my baby."
The woman’s silhouette approached and sat next to Bart, who couldn’t wait to hold her and fervently kissed her. The woman wrapped her arms around Bart’s neck, and they instantly entwined, soon filling the room with the sounds of her moans and his heavy breathing.
Jin Enxi leaned against the bedroom door, listening to the intimate sounds inside the room, a slight smile curling her lips. The information stated that Bart extremely liked beautiful women; seeing one, he took them home, and even Jin Enxi herself hadn’t expected things to proceed so smoothly.
When the affair inside concluded and the woman left the bed, Jin Enxi took out a stack of money from her bag. The woman took the money and left without even knowing who she had just been intimate with. Jin Enxi quickly entered the bathroom, wet her body, then changed into a nightgown. She turned on the floor lamp; the room was filled with soft light. She lay on the bed, propping her head with her hand, and turned to look at Bart, "Mr. Bart, are you asleep?"
Bart, looking utterly sated, squinted his eyes and took Jin Enxi’s teasing hand off his chest, "Little fairy, didn’t satisfy you just now, shall we go again?" He then moved to turn over.
Jin Enxi playfully smiled, looking at his still hazy eyes, her own eyes lightly flickering, "You are so naughty, I just wanted to talk to you, but you... you almost broke my waist just now."
For a man, this was undoubtedly the highest praise. Bart laughed happily, "Little fairy, you’re not bad either." He had slept with countless women, but the taste tonight was remarkable, making him unable to resist wanting to take this woman home.
"Mr. Bart, do you think we can see each other again in the future?"
"Little fairy, can’t bear to part with me?"
"Why do you still say it out loud if you know?" Jin Enxi shyly lowered her head, a chill darting through her eyes as if wishing she could feel the goosebumps on her arms.
Listening in from the other end, Andre and others also shivered simultaneously, that tone was just too coquettish.
Bart lifted her chin, looking at her, "Little fairy, I can’t bear to part with you either. Will you stay at my place for a few days?"
Jin Enxi’s eyes brightened, a hint of hesitation flickered on her face, "Would it be appropriate for me to go?"
Bart, who had initially mentioned it casually, took her question seriously and nodded, "You are my woman, there’s nothing inappropriate about going to my house. Come home with me tomorrow."
Jin Enxi’s hand gently caressed Bart’s face, a hint of perfume sprayed on her wrist. The scent was light and pleasant. As Bart inhaled it, his gaze grew increasingly blurred. Seeing this, a glint of sharpness flashed through Jin Enxi’s eyes. She hesitated and said, "But I heard you have guests at your house now."
"The guest is staying in the Southern District, it won’t affect us." Bart, almost falling asleep, murmured.
The corners of Jin Enxi’s mouth lifted slightly as she tapped on her earring a few times, three long and one short.
She looked at Bart, who had fallen asleep, and couldn’t help but admire the drug Eden had provided. She hadn’t expected that when paired with the specially made perfume, even someone as resolute as Bart could be seduced. She definitely needed to get more of this drug from Eden sometime; it was simply fantastic.
"Mr. Bart, Bart." Jin Enxi leaned close to Bart’s ear and softly called a few times, but Bart showed no response; he truly had fallen asleep.
Jin Enxi got up from the bed and walked to the living room, where she lay on the couch, not wanting to share a bed with this man.
Andre turned off the surveillance equipment, "We’ve got a rough location now, in the Southern District."
Although it’s called the Southern District, it is actually in the north of MD, belonging to the territory of UFT, but UFT’s influence there is not substantial. It was a good choice for BK to stay there.
"Enxi will go back with Bart tomorrow; we’ll decide after she returns."
"But isn’t it too dangerous for her to go there alone?" Meng Liang said. Though he wasn’t close with Andre and might not become friends in the future, at least for now, they were friends.
"There’s no danger for Enxi. If something this trivial could trouble her, then she wouldn’t be Jin Enxi," Cissily said indifferently. Coming from Devil Base, if they didn’t have even this level of self-preservation, they would have died countless times already.
Meng Liang heard this and said no more.
The next day, when Bart woke up, there was no one beside him. He opened his eyes and sat up, just as Jin Enxi walked out of the bathroom, apparently just having finished putting on her makeup.
"Dear Bart, you’re awake." Jin Enxi’s eyes brightened as she walked over to him.
"Morning, my love."
"I ordered breakfast, would you like to join me?" Jin Enxi asked, her eyes full of hope.
Bart nodded, got up, and went to wash up. After having breakfast with Jin Enxi, Bart indeed took her back to the base. It wasn’t the first time Bart had brought a woman back, so everyone was used to it.
However, the man who had tried to pick up Jin Enxi the previous night shifted his gaze upon seeing her.
"Benson, was there any trouble here last night?" Bart asked.
The man known as Benson replied, "KING came looking for you last night, but since you weren’t here, he left without saying what it was about."
Bart nodded, "I’ll go find him this afternoon." Having said that, he walked away with Jin Enxi, who followed closely beside him, all the while discreetly surveying the surroundings with the corner of her eye. The guards in the UFT base were very strict.
Bart led her to a room, "Stay here for now and don’t wander around, or it won’t be fun if something happens, you know?"
Jin Enxi obediently nodded; Bart was quite pleased, "I still have some things to handle, so just stay here by yourself. There’s a TV and a computer in the room for you to use. I’ll take you out this afternoon."
"Okay, you go on with your business; I won’t go out," Jin Enxi said.
Mr. Bart smiled contentedly and walked out.
Jin Enxi didn’t contact Andre because she wasn’t sure if the room was safe. She acted like an ordinary little woman, looked around the room, and then lay down on the bed to watch TV.
Jin Enxi’s instincts were right; the room was indeed unsafe, not only surveilled but also bugged. Any slight move she made would now be met with armed individuals.
Seeing that Jin Enxi behaved normally, Bart was still uneasy and looked at Benson, "How’s the investigation you conducted coming along?"
"No problem, she’s just a staff member at a small company in the West River District, an orphan who often hangs out in bars and nightclubs."
Hearing this, Mr. Bart finally felt at ease. He had asked Benson to investigate Jin Enxi right after taking her from the bar last night, but he never imagined that Jin Enxi was prepared with a fake identity, unafraid of his scrutiny, and moreover, the investigation was cursory and lacked depth.
Someone delivered lunch to Jin Enxi at noon; looking at the lavish meal, Jin Enxi raised her eyebrow contentedly and sat down to eat.
At 2 p.m., Bart appeared, and Jin Enxi’s eyes lit up when she saw him, "My dear, you’ve arrived."
"Have you been waiting long?"
Jin Enxi shook her head, "Not too long. I spent the time watching TV and sleeping, so it passed quickly. I just missed you a little," she said with the demeanour of a doting woman.
Bart was quite pleased and put his hand on Jin Enxi’s waist, "Come, let’s go out for some fun."
In the car, Jin Enxi touched the pendant on her ear discreetly while Bart was not looking. When she saw that they were headed to the Southern District, she immediately knew that Bart was taking her to where BK was now staying.
She hadn’t expected things to progress so smoothly; she thought it would require more effort to find out where BK was located. Since she could not stay next to Bart for long, at most only this evening, she would leave because, in UFT’s base, she couldn’t find another woman to replace her in bed with Bart.
Jin Enxi saw the car enter an estate, never expecting BK to enjoy such luxury by setting up his temporary base here.
"Bart." KING’s silhouette appeared in the living room. As he walked in, she subtly shifted, letting Bart block half of her face.
"King." Bart embraced King, and King’s gaze fell on Jin Enxi, "Who is this?"
Bart pulled Jin Enxi close, "This is my new flame, Shirley."
King looked at Jin Enxi and furrowed his brows slightly, "Miss, have we met somewhere?"
Jin Enxi felt a jolt in her heart, thinking trouble was coming, but her face did not show it. She looked puzzled at King, "Sir, have you seen me before? I don’t remember at all; this is my first time here."
King smiled, "Perhaps I remembered wrong." He had only felt a slight recognition, so he asked casually, not taking Jin Enxi seriously.
Bart and King were there to discuss business. They exchanged a few words in the living room and then went upstairs to the study. Before leaving, Bart reminded Jin Enxi, "Baby, wait here for me; I have some things to discuss with King."
"Okay."
"You cannot roam around freely here, understand?"
"Don’t worry, my love, I won’t wander. I’ll just wait here for you."
After Mr. Bart and King went upstairs, Jin Enxi initially sat here quietly waiting, but after ten minutes, she couldn’t sit still anymore.
She stood up, wanting to go outside, but the men in black at the door wouldn’t let her out. Jin Enxi put on a pitiful look on her face, "Big brothers, I feel a bit suffocated sitting in the living room. I noticed earlier that the flowers in the garden look very nice. May I go to the garden to have a look at the flowers? I promise I won’t go anywhere else."
The two men in black looked at each other, knowing she was brought here by Mr. Bart and was a guest at the estate, and just a regular woman, so they let her go.
Jin Enxi walked in the garden, occasionally bending down to smell the fragrance of the flowers. However, she was continuously observing the surroundings out of the corner of her eye. The estate had only one central building with no tall trees around. The garden was full of short bushes and flowers such as roses and camellias, which meant there were no vantage points.
She strolled casually through the garden, holding a bunch of freshly picked flowers, and she had already formed a general map of the estate in her mind.
The entire estate was filled with surveillance, monitoring every nook and cranny without blind spots.
She returned to the living room even before Mr. Bart and his party came out, ready to leave and go back.
When Mr. Bart and King came down, Jin Enxi was still sitting in the living room, holding a bunch of roses. Bart asked, "Where did these flowers come from?"
"I saw that the flowers in the garden were blooming nicely, so I picked a few. I hope Mr. King doesn’t mind?"
King smiled slightly, "Of course I don’t mind. Miss Sherry, you can pick more to take back if you like."
"That’s enough, thank you, Mr. King," She looked at Bart, "Darling, can we go now? You said you would take me to the mall."
"We can go now."
Right after Mr. Bart and the others left, a man in a black suit from the East hurriedly entered, "King, there’s trouble."
King’s face darkened, "What happened?"
The problem began half an hour earlier. After Shen Qinglan had been locked up for six days, Anna couldn’t stand it anymore. Ignoring King’s orders, she took Shen Qinglan out of the dark room.
Although Shen Qinglan had been locked up for six days, her mental state had not changed at all. In fact, it was even better than before, and some of her wounds had started to heal.
Dissatisfied with not seeing the scene she wanted, Anna was determined to take Shen Qinglan to the torture chamber for a severe beating. However, just as she approached Shen Qinglan, Shen quickly subdued her. Shen Qinglan, using a nail she had somehow acquired, was now pressing it against Anna’s carotid artery in her neck, ready to send Anna to meet God with just a little force.
"Take me to my friends," Shen Qinglan demanded to the armed people surrounding her.
Anna tried to resist, but Shen exerted pressure, causing Anna to scream in pain, her arms falling limply as Shen Qinglan forcefully broke one of them.
"If you resist again, next time it will be your neck," Shen Qinglan threatened coldly.
"Even if you kill me, you won’t see your friends," Anna said fiercely.
Shen Qinglan tightened her grip on the nail, piercing Anna’s skin slightly, "Talk nonsense again and you’ll meet God."
Anna’s face changed. Though they were desperados, the more they were, the more they feared death. She said to the people around her, "Move aside."
The crowd cleared a path, but after only a few steps, they ran into the Eastern man who had been here before. The man frowned, "Miss Shen, what are you doing?"
"Take me to my friends, or I’ll kill her," Shen Qinglan said coldly.
The Eastern man shrugged his shoulders, "Miss Shen, this is definitely not a wise decision. Even if you see your friend, you won’t be able to leave this place."
"Cut the crap, if you don’t want her to die, then lead the way."
Unexpectedly, the Eastern man didn’t step aside, "Miss Shen, go ahead and kill."
Anna widened her eyes, looking at the Eastern man in disbelief, "Are you insane? Do you realize what you’re saying?"
The man looked at Anna with an icy gaze, "Of course I know. Anna, the one who is clueless here is you. Have you forgotten what King said?"
Anna’s face changed color; she hadn’t forgotten. If it wasn’t for King’s command not to let Shen Qinglan die, she might have killed her earlier.
"Since your comrades don’t care about your life, then you might as well die." Shen Qinglan’s expression hardened, and she was about to thrust the nail into Anna’s neck.
"Wait." The Eastern man spoke up, and Anna breathed a sigh of relief, for she could tell that Shen Qinglan was truly ready to kill her.
"Bang." A gunshot sounded, Anna’s body stiffened, then she collapsed softly to the floor. She looked incredulously toward the doorway where King, holding a gun still smoking, met her eye with an icy and indifferent gaze, devoid of any emotion.
Blood slowly oozed from her heart. Shen Qinglan let go of her hand, allowing Anna to slide to the floor. Shen Qinglan applauded, "Good, true to King’s style, ruthless enough to kill even his own people."
The faces of those present subtly changed. King had always been ruthless, but now he was killing his own people, which brought a wave of fear over them.
King put away the gun, glanced over everyone’s faces, and slowly smiled, "Miss Shen, I’ve always been unforgiving to those who disobey my orders. She brought this on herself. Miss Shen, stop stirring things up here. Moreover, I don’t like being threatened. Now that there’s no more bargaining chip, what do you plan to do?"
Shen Qinglan’s expression was cold, not even glancing at Anna on the ground, "What do you have in mind?"
"Miss Shen, I would like to invite you to a place. Let’s go."
Shen Qinglan’s eyes flickered slightly, she said nothing, and followed behind King, not attempting to attack him, knowing she didn’t hold the upper hand.

In an estate abroad, "Once you’re ready, let’s set off," Allen said as he came downstairs and saw that everyone was ready.
A woman entered from outside and squinted her eyes upon seeing this scene, "Allen, what are you planning to do? Go to save Shen Qinglan?"
Allen looked at the woman, his already cold demeanor growing even colder, "My business is none of your concern."
Hearing this, the woman’s expression also darkened, "Allen, do you still remember how your father died? He was killed by Shen Qinglan’s father. And now you want to save Shen Qinglan? Are you insane?"
"I’ve always been a madman, didn’t you know that from day one? I will avenge my father, but Shen Qinglan absolutely must not die."
"No, you cannot go save Shen Qinglan. If you want to save her, you’ll have to kill me first."
"You think I wouldn’t dare?" Allen drew a handgun from his waist, aimed it at the woman, who didn’t flinch, staring steadily at Allen, convinced he wouldn’t harm her.
Allen gave a cruel smile and slowly pulled the trigger under the woman’s watchful eye.
"Don’t ever think you can dictate what I do. This is just a warning for you," Allen said as he stopped while walking past the woman.
The woman, clutching her bleeding shoulder and pale-faced, watched Allen’s receding figure with a venomous look in her eyes. She took out her phone and called King.

After Jin Enxi and Bart had left, Bart took her to a nearby shopping mall.
"Dear, how’s this dress?" Jin Enxi asked, holding a dress and smiling broadly.
Bart glanced at it and nodded, "It’s lovely."
"Shall I try it on?"
Bart didn’t object. Jin Enxi took the dress into the fitting room, but Bart waited for a long time and didn’t see Jin Enxi come out. He walked to the fitting room door and knocked, "Sweetheart, are you done?"
No one answered from inside. Bart’s expression changed, and he kicked open the door of the fitting room. Besides the clothes thrown on the floor, there was no one inside. Angrily, he barked at his subordinates waiting outside, "Find her! You must find that damn woman."
The subordinates responded in unison and began searching for Jin Enxi in the large shopping mall.
In a restroom on the second floor of the mall, Jin Enxi, dressed in casual clothes and carrying a backpack, her black ear-length hair, and the exaggerated earrings removed, watched the black-clad men searching for her up and down the floors. She stood quietly by the railing, the corners of her mouth slightly upturned.
A man in black walked by not far from her, merely glancing at her as he passed. Jin Enxi clearly saw the irritated expression on Bart’s face, smiled lightly, and left the mall with composure.
Outside the mall, a car was already waiting for her. Jin Enxi got in and sprawled in the back seat, sighing, "I’ve finally gotten rid of that old man. It was so tiring." Only then did she realize the driver was Meng Liang.
"Hey, handsome, why are you the one picking me up?"
Meng Liang glanced at her through the rear-view mirror, "Because I’m the only one available."
Jin Enxi grinned, "How about it, watching me toy with Bart in circles, you must really admire me, right?"
Meng Liang nodded; indeed, he was genuinely impressed by Jin Enxi’s ability.
"What did you guys do before?" Meng Liang asked curiously.
Jin Enxi raised a finger and gently shook it, "Little one, don’t be too curious. There’s a saying in your country, ’curiosity killed the cat,’ you know?"
Meng Liang had just asked casually, and seeing her reluctance to speak, he didn’t pursue further.
Joining up with the others, Jin Enxi quickly took out paper and pen and began sketching on it. Soon, a map was formed.
"This is BK’s stronghold. I observed today that not many people are inside, but the equipment is sophisticated. There are surveillance cameras in every corner of the estate; entering quietly will be challenging," Jin Enxi said, her face turning serious.
"Enxi, cut the nonsense and get to the point," Cissily interrupted.
Jin Enxi chuckled, "Don’t rush, the main point is coming. Today, I threw a few signal jammers in their garden. I will jam their signals from the outside when you go in to rescue, but you only have three minutes. Then it will take another fifteen minutes before the jammer can be used again. Your time is tight."
"Three minutes is enough," Fu Hengyi said. Three minutes was indeed sufficient for them to infiltrate and enter the villa inside the estate.
"Today’s time was too short, I didn’t find Qinglan’s location, so after entering the estate we still have to rely on you," Jin Enxi looked at Fu Hengyi, "My signal jammer is strongly disruptive, so it will also interfere with your positioning signal, reducing its strength."
Fu Hengyi nodded. The reduction in strength didn’t matter, as long as he could still sense it.
A knock came from the door, it was Ryan, "May I come in?"
"Please come in," Eden spoke.
When Ryan entered and saw everyone, he said, "I just received a batch of new goods today; the quality is quite good. You can bring some when you rescue her. Additionally, I’ll try to draw King away while you perform the rescue."
"Ryan, thank you. I don’t know how to express my gratitude," Eden said.
"I, Ryan, am someone who repays favors. You’ve saved my life, and providing a little help is the least I can do. Recently, King wanted to collaborate with me, but I didn’t respond to him. I’ll reply to him today and try to arrange to meet him tonight."
Ryan waved his hand. Someone entered behind him, carrying several boxes and placing them on the table before leaving. Fu Hengyi opened the boxes, lifted the contents, and raised an eyebrow. These were the latest models of weapons, immensely powerful, even their military unit hadn’t received them yet. It was no wonder the military wanted to cooperate with KA; with this kind of capability, even some of the underworld figures couldn’t match him.
"These goods can’t be mass-produced yet, I only have these few. You take them to use first. Once you start the operation, I’ll support you from the outside."
"Ryan, I won’t say thanks this time," Andre patted his chest, "If you ever need my help in the future, just say the word."
Ryan smiled. He was only helping because of Eden’s face, as Eden not only saved him three years ago but also saved his only son.
After Ryan left, he called King, agreeing to consider their collaboration, but details needed to be discussed in person. As King was coming to Quansan, he wanted the goods Ryan was giving to Fu Hengyi and the others. Seeing Ryan’s willingness to cooperate, King naturally agreed to meet, and the time was set by Ryan, while the location was to be decided by King.
"I’ve arranged with King already. Meet at 7 PM at Northern Gao Li Street Kather Hotel in the estate area. You guys hurry up with the rescue."
Eden and the others nodded.
At 6 PM, as nightfall began, several jeeps drove out from KA’s base.
The vehicles stopped a few hundred meters away from BK’s stationed estate. "Qian Fei, you stay back for support," Fu Hengyi said.
"Captain, let me go too."
"This is an order," Fu Hengyi spoke flatly. Obeying orders was a soldier’s duty and Qian Fei immediately fell silent, "Yes, Captain."
As Fu Hengyi and the others approached the estate, his wristwatch suddenly vibrated. "Qinglan is indeed in this estate, but I can’t sense her exact location. Do you have any idea?" he asked Jin Enxi.
Jin Enxi lifted Fu Hengyi’s hand, looked at the watch surface, "In the direction of nine o’clock, the vibration of this watch points to Qinglan’s location. The closer you get to her, the more frequent the vibrations."
Meng Liang and Mu Liancheng’s gazes fell on Fu Hengyi’s wristwatch, especially Meng Liang, his eyes gleaming.
"I’m starting now, get ready," Jin Enxi said. As Cissily and Andre were too recognizable, they had disguised themselves a bit to ensure they wouldn’t be identified at a glance.
Jin Enxi held a laptop, opened it, and tapped a few keys, "I’ll try to hack into their surveillance system, the process might take ten minutes. Once you infiltrate the villa, hide carefully. Once the invasion is successful, I’ll direct you to a safe route." This was their most common method during missions, and Cissily and Andre were already used to it, but the reminder was for Fu Hengyi and his team.
Meng Liang’s eyes followed Jin Enxi’s fingers, watching them skillfully dance over the keyboard, while Cissily took out a few devices similar to Bluetooth from the rear seat of the vehicle and handed them to Fu Hengyi and the others.
"Put this on; it’ll make it easier to communicate."
Meng Liang took it, mimicked their actions, and wore the earpiece, immediately hearing their voices through it.
"All right, you only have three minutes," Jin Enxi snapped her fingers and said.
Everyone’s expression became solemn, they glanced at each other and rushed towards the Estate’s outer wall. The wall was high, but each person held grappling hooks, lightly swung them, and quickly hooked onto the wall. In no time, they had all landed inside the wall, a spot Jin Enxi had scoped out during the day. Although there weren’t any tall trees, there were several thick bushes where one could hide.
The wristband glowed faintly, visible even in the darkness. Fu Hengyi consulted it for direction and pointing, said, "Mu Liancheng and I will head there; you guys take the other direction."
Andre nodded, and the six split into two groups and proceeded separately. When they neared the villa, they split into six different directions to enter the villa.
Although Jin Enxi had only briefly observed the villa that afternoon, her long-established habits sufficed for a quick assessment. She had already spotted several areas where the guards were relatively sparse, and those were precisely where Fu Hengyi and his team entered.
"Three minutes are up, be careful," said Jin Enxi, then continued typing on the keyboard, attempting to hack into their surveillance system.

Shen Qinglan was brought to an interrogation room by King. She didn’t see Ya Xi, "Where is Ya Xi?" she asked, staring intently at King.
King smiled, "You should worry about yourself first. I’ll take good care of your friend." Recalling the woman’s instructions, a flicker of thought passed through King’s eyes, "A woman’s malice is surely not mistaken." The girl’s life was probably ruined, but King felt not a shred of guilt; he simply wasn’t one to be soft-hearted, but it was a pity as Ya Xi was quite cute.
Shen Qinglan didn’t catch the fleeting look of pity in King’s eyes. The room wasn’t connected to others; it contained only some torture tools, very similar to the room she had first entered days ago.
"Take good care of Mrs. Fu," said King before leaving.
The eastern man waved his hand, and two men in black approached first but were quickly taken down by Shen Qinglan. The eastern man wasn’t annoyed and simply said, "Miss Shen, if you don’t want your friend to get hurt, it’s best not to resist, otherwise..."
Shen Qinglan’s expression changed slightly as she stared coldly at the eastern man, her eyes filled with killing intent. The man slightly smiled, "Please, Miss Shen."
Shen Qinglan withdrew her gaze, stood in front of the cross, and let them bind her hands and feet. A man in black stood opposite her, holding a whip, and smiled cruelly.
The sound of the whip hitting flesh was almost enjoyable for the eastern man, who closed his eyes, "Miss Shen, just beg for mercy, and I’ll have them stop immediately."
Shen Qinglan said nothing, biting her lip tightly.
Watching her blood-soaked shirt for the second time, the eastern man shook his head, unamused, "Women should be a bit softer; a temper like Miss Shen’s is not endearing to men."
Clapping his hands, the man with the whip stopped. "Let’s take Miss Shen down; we have a good show for her to see," said the eastern man with a smile that seemed anything but kind.
A dreadful premonition surged in Shen Qinglan’s heart.
Held by two men, she followed the eastern man to a room. The door was firmly shut, and heart-wrenching screams came from inside—it was Ya Xi’s voice.
Shen Qinglan’s complexion turned ashen, and her heart sank.
The eastern man opened a small window on the room’s wall, offering a view inside, "Miss Shen, your friend is in there enjoying our ’services’. Would you like to take a look?"
