Ah Da suddenly stopped struggling, listening to his steady breathing, and she gradually relaxed as well.

Surrounded by the moonlit night, drenched in its tender silver glow.

Suddenly, Ah Da felt extremely hot, as if her body housed a furnace burning with fierce flames, and a scalding breath spread throughout her with each pulse, prompting her to kick away the covers.

Her hands fumbled with her clothes and accidentally touched the person beside her. His arm was cool, like ice, and she reached out, only to press her body against his as well.

Ever since Qin Yu had been devoid of Ah Da’s calming scent, his sleep quality had been poor, often dozing off with his eyes closed. Tonight, having forced her to share his bed, he had finally slept well.

Ah Da’s eyes were closed, her forehead and nose were dotted with glistening sweat, and her palm-sized face was flushed red like a ripened apple. Qin Yu touched her forehead, it wasn’t hot; instead, it felt rather cool.

Thinking of Yao Qingzhi’s words, Qin Yu hadn’t expected it would come so quickly. His brows furrowed as he patted her cheek.

"Ah Da, wake up."

Ah Da moaned, tightening her grip once more; this time her mouth was relentless too, starting to nuzzle his neck and working her way up, her legs tightening around his waist as if she sought to merge with him.

Qin Yu had no choice but to carry her in this position, supporting her on the way to the bathroom.

Holding her with one arm, he used his free hand to turn on the tap and covered her eyes with water droplets - her eyelashes barely grazed him like two little fans, giving a tickling sensation.

"Do you feel a bit more awake?" Qin Yu asked, looking down at the little girl in his arms as he walked to the side of the sink and set her down to sit, covering her face again with his wet hand.

Ah Da opened her eyes, indeed that feeling had returned - she felt so uncomfortable she wanted to cry, though no tears would come. Pouting, she stretched out her hand toward Qin Yu; touching him would bring her much relief.

"Don’t push me away... hold me..."

"It hurts so badly... wuu wuu wuu..."

Qin Yu could only let her cling to him, but she was anything but calm, her hands and mouth ceaselessly misbehaving on him, like a little beast in a frenzy.

She made restless noises, bumping and crashing around without any sense of danger, seemingly unaware of what she was doing, acting purely on bodily sensations.

Ah Da’s provocations sparked a fire in Qin Yu, and he pinned her against the mirror by gripping her waist, leaning down to seal her whimpering mouth with a kiss.

Being significantly shorter than Qin Yu, even while sitting on the sink edge, she had to tilt her head back. In a daze, her lips were pried apart, and her breath was taken away.

She only felt an intense heat bottled up inside her, as if needing an outlet to be released, unclear about what exactly it was. Nevertheless, at this moment the kiss seemed to ease the burning sensation.

"Mmm..."

Feeling the palm at the back of her neck loosen, afraid that he would pull away, Ah Da held onto him desperately, tilting her head to eagerly meet him. With no real experience, her movements were clumsy and not only did they fail to quench her thirst, but caused her lips to split open.

Beautiful, round white pearls of tears kept falling. Qin Yu stepped back and with his fingertip wiped the corner of her eye. The little girl was crying, her eyes red, her entire small face flushed like a beautiful sunset, her eyes woefully half-closed.

She kept reaching out to him, constantly saying "hot."

"How is this worse than before?" Qin Yu held her hand and murmured to himself, wondering if her condition was escalating, growing more intense and desperate with each day.

He guessed right; the phase was long, and he had brought her to the Malaya Islands specifically to accompany her through it alone.

Seeing her in discomfort, Qin Yu felt pained, but she was so dazed that she had no clear perception at all. If he took advantage of her at this time, it would be unfair to her.

With one arm, he lifted her up and walked to the bathtub, placing her inside and turning on all the water faucets around it.

In less than a minute, the water had risen above her abdomen. Ah Da’s emotions seemed to ease somewhat; she sat there blankly, her eyes open but looking somewhat lost.

Qin Yu knelt down on one knee, scooped up a handful of water to pour over her shoulder, pushed the hair on the side of her face behind her ear, and pinched her chin, "How do you feel now?"

Ah Da opened her eyes to look at him, biting her lip without speaking, then her body slipped and she lay flat, letting the water overtake her head.

Qin Yu sat by her side, watching. After a while, when he saw no movement from her, he stood up to go get her some clothes. But just as he turned around, he heard a pained moan from behind.

Whirling around, he saw the little girl lying in the white bathtub, her arms wrapped around herself, curled up tight, her trembling body turning side to side. Her dark hair spread out like seaweed at the bottom of the sea.

Qin Yu’s heart contracted slightly. He quickly bent down to lift her out of the water and in the next moment, the little girl clung to him like a wisteria, hugging him tightly as if she were a stranded little fish that could only breathe when against him.

The situation was clearly much more serious than before.

Qin Yu let her nibble at his neck, thinking if it made her feel even a little bit better.

However, things were not so simple. As Ah Da kept nibbling, she realized that it did not alleviate her restlessness at all; instead it was like drinking poison to quench her thirst, stimulating an even greater desire.

She didn’t know what to do and could only hold onto Qin Yu, crying and saying over and over how uncomfortable she was.

Qin Yu had no choice but to put her back into the bathtub, then he started to peel off her wet skirt, and in the process, to his surprise, he discovered colorful scales on her snowy white body.

He touched them with the pad of his finger; they were soft and hot to the touch, completely unlike the scales on an ordinary fish.

With no time to investigate, the person in the tub was already delirious, crying and whimpering by instinct.

Qin Yu silenced her mouth, his fingers tracing down along her slender waist, soothing her desire.

Half an hour later, Ah Da was dressed in a clean nightgown, and Qin Yu carefully dried her hair. Finally, he carried her out, placed her on the bed, and pulled up the quilt over her shoulders.

The little girl’s ears were already flushed red, spreading to her neck. Eyes closed, her long eyelashes concealed her pupils, her lips swollen and slightly parted as she breathed shallowly, sleeping very peacefully.

After attending to her, Qin Yu himself was drenched in sweat, his pajamas soaked through, with a fire burning and spreading in his belly.

Leaving a dim yellow light on, he turned, slipping off his pajamas as he walked to the bathroom, and finally emerged after showering with cold water for half an hour. He lifted the covers and lay down in bed, pulling the already deeply sleeping little girl into his arms, sniffing her sweet fruity scent as he fell asleep, dreamless throughout the night.

In the morning, the sun’s rays shone through the floor-to-ceiling windows, and Qin Yu awoke, frowning slightly. As he opened his eyes, he was startled to see the little girl kneeling by his side.

Ah Da wore a simple pure white camisole nightgown, unblinkingly staring at him, her jet-black hair smooth and draped behind her, her stunningly beautiful little face even more dazzling against the sunlight.
