The Tycoon’s Enchanted Mermaid
Chapter 184: Drunkenness

Chapter 184: Chapter 184: Drunkenness

Qin Yu’s hand rested on the railing as he slightly turned his head to look at her, the evening breeze lifting his hair, and he spoke in a faint voice, "When we go back later, take a look and see if a lot of them say he sings well."

Ah Dai looked down at the surging waves beneath the boat in the night and said, "They’re scared of Tang Bufan."

It’s just calling a deer a horse.

"I’m talking about you deceiving me." Ah Dai’s eyes, clear as glass, showed a touch of annoyance, friendship my ass, Qin Yu was entirely vengeful, no wonder Tang Bufan felt life was unbearable.

Seeing that she was genuinely upset, Qin Yu felt a tightening in his heart, pulled her over, hugged her, and lowered himself to kiss her forehead, "Don’t be angry, next time you can deceive me in return."

Ah Dai clung to the clothes on his side, her cheeks growing even more pink under the boat’s light, her voice soft, "I don’t want to learn from you, you’re not allowed to fool me next time, I don’t like it."

Thinking he could deceive her, as if she couldn’t see through it.

"Okay." Qin Yu’s long fingers brushed her bangs behind her ears, his dark pupils deep, "Do you still want to play?"

Hearing that the singing inside was almost over, Ah Dai pulled him, "Let’s go back in and play a bit more, then we’ll go home."

...

Half an hour later, Ah Dai leaned on Qin Yu’s shoulder, her cheeks red as a ripe apple, her eyes hazy, muttering something, occasionally letting out a giggle.

Looking all silly.

During the game earlier, for some reason, Tang Bufan started urging Ah Dai to drink, and Qin Yu saw that the fruit wine was very low in alcohol content; a normal person wouldn’t get drunk no matter how much they drank.

Ah Dai, enticed by the fragrance of the wine, couldn’t help but indulge, and to her surprise, became confused after just one drink, her tolerance astonishingly low.

"It really isn’t my fault, I usually drink this stuff like it’s a beverage," Tang Bufan explained himself frantically in the face of Qin Yu’s icy gaze.

"I know." Qin Yu cradled Ah Dai in his arms, letting her rest against his chest, and said to Qin Yu, "Get someone to bring us to shore, I’ll take her home, it’s getting late."

"Fine." Qin Yu phoned the cockpit to give instructions.

After the fun had died down, everyone quieted.

They all saw how protective and affectionate Qin Yu had been towards the young girl tonight, not just Jin Hao, Huang Leyang, and other playboys from Capital City were surprised, but even the women who accompanied them on the yacht felt a mix of emotions.

Because it was different.

The young girl was young and beautiful, truly exceptional in looks, but they had been immersed in the fame and fortune of Beijing Circle for many years, seeing more beautiful women and wealthy, powerful men than there were stones on the roadside.

Forget about love; in the world of fame and fortune, there were only interests and desires, divided into two kinds, material and physical, some rich heirs were not even in relationships, their essence was merely seeking something to alleviate their boredom.

There was no basic respect.

Of course, men after bodies, women after benefits, everyone taking what they needed, there wasn’t much else to say.

But having dwelled in the Beijing Circle for so long, they frequently heard of Master Qin’s reputation, such a person standing at the apex of a golden pyramid, wielding overwhelming power, yet treating his girlfriend just like an ordinary couple would, obliging and caring, it was inevitably enviable.

Seeing someone else’s fortune, some felt emotional, ripples of envy in their hearts, but just thinking of Master Qin’s widely spread behavior and character, they quickly suppressed any heartbeats.

Risking one’s life for an impractical fantasy wasn’t worth it.

After the yacht docked, Qin Yu carried Ah Dai off the boat, with Tang Bufan and others following at his side, helping him open the car door, "Third Young Master, do you want me to get someone to drive you guys home?"

"No need, I haven’t been drinking." Qin Yu gently placed Ah Dai in the passenger seat, held her hand, and fastened her seatbelt.

Tang Bufan was worried that Ah Dai might go wild from the alcohol, seeing her current state, she didn’t seem like the type to quietly sleep off the drunkenness; causing trouble could easily affect driving.

Qin Yu took the car keys and said to Tang Bufan, "Let’s go."

Tang Bufan waved to him, reminding him to drive safely.

Qin Yu turned the steering wheel, and the car drove onto the main road. It was past midnight, and there were still quite a few vehicles on the road. Capital City was known nationwide as a city that never sleeps.

The little girl in the passenger seat was restless, randomly grabbing at something with her hands, pouting her lips, and muttering some unclear words.

At first, she was relatively calm, but as time passed she became more and more troublesome. Suddenly, she burst into tears, and Qin Yu had no choice but to pull over to the side of the road, thankfully already out of the downtown area.

Ah Da felt her body burning hot as if there were flames surrounding her, getting more intense as they burned. She wanted to escape, but felt as if she was tied up with a rope. She tried to pull it open but couldn’t undo it.

She became more and more agitated, tears involuntarily falling. Suddenly, the rope untied, and a cold, iron arm wrapped around her waist and lifted her up. Startled, she hurriedly struggled.

"Don’t move."

Her hand was caught, and in her panic and confusion, she then felt a sharp pain on her lips. Slowly opening her eyes, she suddenly fell into a pair of unfathomably dark pupils.

"You..."

Qin Yu occasionally pinched the back of her neck, leaning his forehead against hers, "Are you sobering up now?"

Ah Da felt dizzy, a bit sober but not completely. She realized she was sitting on Qin Yu’s lap, her lower back against the steering wheel, and in front of her was his warm chest.

She tried to get up, but her limbs were too weak and powerless, even lifting them was difficult.

Her chin was held, and Ah Da frowned, twisting her body to avoid his touch, because the closer he came to her, the more agitation she felt in her heart, as if something was unfulfilled.

She couldn’t tell what it was exactly, only that she felt extremely uncomfortable.

"I want... water..."

Pearls had scattered all over the floor. Qin Yu’s fingertips brushed past her outer eye, thinking that, compared to others who would cause a ruckus and be sick when drunk, the little girl wasn’t too troublesome; she just cried pitifully.

He took a nearby water bottle, unscrewed the cap, and held it to her mouth.

Ah Da tilted her head back, opening her mouth and tried to drink. The bottle was raised too high, and she couldn’t help but reach up to pull it down, but the large hand holding the bottle was immovable.

She was close to tears again.

"Drink slowly," Qin Yu couldn’t help but chuckle, as she drank water and tears ran down her cheeks at the same time. How wronged she must feel.

The little girl in his arms was soft and floppy, like cotton candy, exuding a sweet fruit scent.

Qin Yu’s palm supported her back, and her soft black hair piled upon his arm, tickling his heart.

She tilted her head to drink the water, swallowing continuously with her white, delicate neck. Her cherry-colored lips were slightly parted and couldn’t even keep the bottle in her mouth; she was as docile as a newborn kitten.

Qin Yu watched her intently, the dark turmoil in his eyes growing. He helped her tie her hair back from the front and caressed her cheek, not concealing his scorching desire within the confines of the car intended only for them.

He did want her, but not like this.

For the most intimate contact, he wanted her to remember it clearly.

With the water that quenched her inner restlessness gone, Ah Da felt as though she had lost her lifeline, opening her mouth chasing after it, her beautiful eyebrows furrowed, and a dissatisfied whimper escaping her.

Qin Yu pinched her waist and placed her back in the passenger seat, fastened her seatbelt, and said sternly, "You’ve had your water, now sit quietly and behave, do you understand?"

Ah Da peered at him with half-opened eyes, her hand tightly clenched into a fist. She suddenly didn’t dare to move a muscle, her eyelashes adorned with tiny pearls, her eyes rimmed red, looking pitiful and aggrieved.
