"What’s the problem? If Ranran is asking about the Chu Family incident, then let me tell you, they’ve reported it."

"Nothing will go wrong, right?" Ye Ranran was a bit uneasy.

No matter what, even with power, one shouldn’t act recklessly. She was a bit worried that Jun Mochan might have overdone it and gotten caught.

Ye Ranran really wanted to slap him. Knowing it would end this way, she would rather have him stay foolish; at least he was obedient and adorable then.

"Right, my foot. You’ve gotten capable, alright, just be careful that every Tom, Dick, or Harry doesn’t come knocking one day claiming to be related." Ye Ranran said irritably.

"That seems to have nothing to do with Ranran, right? Or are you suddenly finding I’m better than your husband and falling for me?" Song Ze pressed closer to her.

Ye Ranran rolled her eyes, "Third Young Master Song, I think you’re delusional. Even if you were an angel, I wouldn’t give you a second glance."

Embarrassment momentarily crossed Song Ze’s face before he slightly backed away from Ye Ranran.

"Is it coming from you?" Ye Ranran immediately noticed Song Ze’s odd reaction.

"Don’t talk nonsense," Song Ze rebuked.

Little did he know how his behavior made it obvious he was trying to cover something up.

Ye Ranran leaned closer to him, sniffed his clothes, then fanned with her hand, "It smells like a sewer. Where did you fall?"

It really wasn’t a big deal. Just that last night, he was accidentally chased and forced to escape into a sewer, ending with his face scratched.
