The Temptation of CEO's Pregnant Ex-Wife
Chapter 476 New Boyfriend

Chapter 476: Chapter 476 New Boyfriend

Huo Yaya was locked up in a mental hospital.

Madam Huo, with tears washing over her face, pleaded with Huo Xuan to bring her back.

Huo Xuan naturally refused.

He wanted to marry Cheng Zhiyin.

"She has been your sister for over twenty years, and we owe her parents a debt of gratitude," Madam Huo was in extreme pain, "Even if she isn’t perfect, we can teach her slowly, not coldheartedly send her to a mental hospital."

Huo Xuan looked indifferent, "This time she drugged me like this, next time she might even take my life."

Madam Huo muttered subconsciously, "She wouldn’t... she’s just a bit spoiled, she will change."

Huo Xuan agreed with this statement that if Huo Yaya would change, she would have already changed.

"Keep her locked up for a few days, I’ll arrange for her to go abroad, and then send her away," Huo Xuan was determined this time.

He was fond of Cheng Zhiyin, and they had spent a beautiful night together.

The emotion of wanting to get married took over all his nerves.

If Huo Yaya refused to repent and kept targeting Cheng Zhiyin, he wouldn’t be polite anymore.

Madam Huo suddenly slumped onto the sofa, "You want to send her away?"

She had three sons, but what she wanted most was a daughter.

Even if Huo Yaya was not perfect, she cherished her like a treasure for over twenty years.

How could she just be ripped away from her heart?

"I’m doing this for her own good," Huo Xuan explained patiently, hoping his mother would understand, "Besides, it’s just sending her away, not abandoning her."

"You’re not doing this for her, you’re doing it for yourself," all of Madam Huo’s gentleness turned into sharp thorns stabbing at Huo Xuan.

She looked disappointedly at her youngest son and started to detest Cheng Zhiyin from the bottom of her heart.

"That Cheng Zhiyin is divorced, infertile, and was nearly imprisoned; for such a woman, you would send Yaya away, you want to kill me with grief?"

She questioned Huo Xuan sharply and sternly.

"Had it been a lady from a scholarly family, a model of virtue, or just anyone with a decent background, I could have accepted her," Madam Huo said coldly.

Her words meant that only Cheng Zhiyin was unacceptable.

Huo Xuan didn’t want to argue with his mother; he simply asked, "If not Cheng Zhiyin, would Huo Yaya stop causing trouble with another woman?"

All of Madam Huo’s anger seemed to be blocked by cotton.

It wouldn’t be Cheng Zhiyin, it would be someone else.

"She promised she would change," Madam Huo naturally chose to protect Huo Yaya, "Huo Xuan, you’re the older brother, can’t you be a bit more tolerant, please, for Mother’s sake?"

She cried sorrowfully.

Still unable to let go of Huo Yaya.

But Huo Xuan had made up his mind not to agree, "Mom, we’ve spoiled her since she was young, this time, I don’t want Zhiyin to suffer."

He turned and left, "That’s my decision."

Madam Huo sat stunned for a long while then pulled out her mobile phone and started making calls.

She had sons other than Huo Xuan.

Huo Xuan went to find Cheng Zhiyin.

He was in his car, calling Cheng Zhiyin, but was still blocked.

He chuckled bitterly, realizing he had probably been confused by passion when he sought out Cheng Zhiyin, and her quiet acceptance had given him illusions.

Even now, he thought that if she had a chance to run away at that time, she would have done so without hesitation.

She was truly not willing.

While thinking, a familiar figure suddenly appeared in the distance.

It was Cheng Zhiyin.

She was carrying a shopping bag, accompanied by a man in his twenties, they were talking and laughing, appearing gentle and amiable.

Huo Xuan felt a chill in his limbs for a moment, staring blankly.

When had such a man appeared by her side?

By the time he realized it, he had already gotten out of the car.

Good upbringing still maintained his sanity and dignity, but his voice was undoubtedly sad as he called out, "Zhiyin."

The conversation abruptly stopped.

Cheng Zhiyin turned her head towards Huo Xuan, her brows furrowed and her tone slightly colder, "Why are you here?"

It was a completely opposite, or rather opposite attitude.

Huo Xuan’s eyes reddened.

Ding Kun observed the scene, understanding they might have things to discuss, he tactfully excused himself, "Sister, I’ll wait for you upstairs."

He said... Sister... upstairs...

Huo Xuan’s rationality momentarily collapsed, his voice very tense, "Who is he?"

Ding Kun knew he was misunderstood.

Just as he was about to explain, Cheng Zhiyin already linked her arm around his saying, "New boyfriend."

Ding Kun: "..."

He dared not speak.

Huo Xuan’s eyes were as red as if he were about to cry, his teeth gritted as he repeated, "New boyfriend?"

Cheng Zhiyin calmly said, "Huo Xuan, as you can see, I’ve found new love, don’t bother me anymore."

Huo Xuan’s composure was lost.

He glared coldly at Ding Kun, mocking, "He’s quite young, isn’t he? What can such a young boyfriend provide for you?"

Cheng Zhiyin gently said, "Stability."

She patted Ding Kun’s arm, "You go upstairs first."

Using the fact that he was already embarrassed, Cheng Zhiyin didn’t want to drag him further into this.

Obediently, Ding Kun carried the bags and left.

"You’re letting him stay at your place?" Huo Xuan trembled with fury, grabbing Ding Kun back, "So young, and meddling in other people’s relationships."

Ding Kun opened his mouth, unable to explain.

"Enough, Huo Xuan, we’ve never been together, there’s no third party meddling," Cheng Zhiyin’s voice grew colder.

Huo Xuan’s clenched hand slowly relaxed, his body overwhelmed with despondency.

Unable to voice his madness, his tone softened into a plea, "Zhiyin, don’t be so cruel, I promise, she won’t hurt you again."

"You go upstairs first," Cheng Zhiyin told Ding Kun.

After Ding Kun had left, she spoke calmly, "Huo Xuan, I’m not rejecting you just because of Huo Yaya, but also because of the gap between us."

She smiled softly, "I am a divorced woman unable to bear children again, of modest background, and plain in every way."

"But you’re different, you’re the young master of a scholarly family, noble in birth. Your family will not accept me, nor do I want to face their disdain, and I especially don’t want you to fall out with your family for my sake."

"Do you understand? Huo Xuan, we’re not suited for each other."

Cheng Zhiyin was so rational she dared not let her emotions sway easily.

Having experienced such pain before, she dared not try easily again.

Furthermore, Madam Huo had already made clear her dislike.

With this in mind, why step further into the situation?

Huo Xuan was crestfallen; he couldn’t accept this outcome.

Grasping Cheng Zhiyin’s wrist, he whispered, "But, Cheng Zhiyin, I’ve already decided, you’re the only one for me in this life."

"Huo Xuan." Cheng Zhiyin was slightly angry.

She thought she had made herself clear enough, yet he was impervious.
