When they got home, Grandma Wang, seeing He Tiantian and Wang Ying returning, asked anxiously, "How are they?"

Since it was too late yesterday, He Tiantian was worried about frightening the elders; seeing that Huo Yingjie was not in serious danger, she hadn’t informed the Old Mansion.

After breakfast, He Tiantian, carrying several thermoses filled with breakfast—porridge, steamed buns, soy milk, dough sticks, and a large bag of clothes—went to the hospital.

When she arrived at the hospital, Wang Ying was already there.

He Tiantian set down her things and asked, "Has Yuan Chao woken up?"

Wang Ying nodded and replied, "Yuan Chao just woke up once, he’s extremely weak and has fallen asleep again."

"That’s good, sleeping means he is recovering," He Tiantian said, "You haven’t had breakfast yet? Come, let’s eat something together."

He Tiantian poured a bowl of porridge for Huo Yingjie. Since only his leg was broken and his arm was fine, he could eat by himself.

Zhang Ning and Xie Wu also had some food, just to fill their stomachs.

"Zhang Ning, make a trip to the Huo Family Old Mansion and gently break the news to grandpa and grandma. Try to be diplomatic and mention just the fracture to keep the elders from being too distressed," He Tiantian reminded him.

"Understood, sister-in-law," Zhang Ning nodded, wiped his hands, and left.

Wang Ying had a steamed bun and a bowl of porridge and said, "Sister-in-law, I’m going to send a telegram to my in-laws to have them come over. It’s just that I worry about them..."

He Tiantian thought for a moment and said, "How about this, wait for Zhang Ning to come back from the Huo Family and then have Xie Wu run to your hometown to pick up the elderly couple. This way, we can avoid any accidents on the road."

Wang Ying’s eyes lit up when she heard this and gratefully said, "Thank you, sister-in-law! Thank you, sister-in-law. I’m really worried about Yuan Chao and can’t go myself."

As He Tiantian was speaking, Huo Zheqian and Huo Yingjun rushed over hastily.

He Tiantian didn’t stop comforting Wang Ying.
