Chapter 667: Chapter 636 Extortion_1

Wang Bing felt like she was plummeting into an ice cave. If someone else saw such photos, she could forget about turning her life around for good, let alone marrying into the Zheng Family.

"What do you want?" Wang Bing asked, determined to retrieve the photos and negatives at any cost.

"I don’t want much, I’m just a bit tight on funds and have no money to spend. Your dad is a high-ranking official, he’s embezzled so much, just give me a little to help me out," Huang Mao said politely, but his expression suggested otherwise.

"How much... how much do you want?" Wang Bing stammered, "You know my father is in jail and we don’t have any money at home anymore."

"You say you have no money just like that!" Huang Mao didn’t believe her, "Your father might be in prison, but no one has seized his previous wealth!"

Furious, Wang Bing demanded, "Just tell me how much you want to hand over the photos and negatives!"

"Five hundred." Huang Mao stated, "That was what you promised us before. We didn’t get it done and even got retaliated against. Plus, we have brothers’ medical and lost wages to cover, so the total is a thousand."

"A thousand, why don’t you just rob me!" Wang Bing exclaimed angrily, "I don’t have that much money, only five hundred. And as you said, you didn’t fulfill your part and even dared to bully me. That’s simply not right. I’ll give you five hundred, that’s for your brothers’ lost wages, and then you give me those photos and negatives. We’ll be even and stay out of each other’s way."

Huang Mao thought about the numerous photos and negatives he possessed; five hundred would do. When he was short on money, he could just come back for more.

"Fine, then five hundred," Huang Mao agreed, "Prepare the money now, and I’ll wait for you here this afternoon. If you don’t show up..."

"I’ll be here. Just don’t forget to bring the photos and negatives. Otherwise, even if I have the money, I won’t give it to you," Wang Bing retorted, fuming with rage, wishing she could just kill Huang Mao on the spot.

However, Wang Bing still had a shred of sanity left. If she committed murder, she would be a murderer, and that merited the death penalty.

She had a whole life ahead of her and a vendetta to enact; how could she die stupidly?

That afternoon, Wang Bing handed over five hundred to Huang Mao and received the photos and negatives from him.

Upon seeing the photos and negatives, Wang Bing immediately set them on fire, resolved to not let her fiancé, Little Zheng, see them.

However, while Wang Bing was preparing for her wedding, she was threatened by Huang Mao again.

This time it was also for five hundred.

Wang Bing gnashed her teeth in anger, now realizing that Huang Mao held more than just one negative. Maybe after this one there would be another, and she could be blackmailed by Huang Mao for a lifetime.

Better to live in constant fear than to kill him and be done with it forever.

As a doctor, she knew how to save lives, but she also knew how to take them.

The most important thing, however, was how to commit murder without getting caught.

Huang Mao’s life was cheap, not worth her own.

Wang Bing feigned distress and unwillingness to pay, but faced with Huang Mao’s threat again, she was compelled to give in, then agreed to gather the money, asking Huang Mao for the address to deliver it in three days.

Huang Mao gave her the address of a rundown old district.

Huang Mao left, smug and cheerful.

From now on, Wang Bing would be his walking wallet; whenever he was out of money, he’d come to her, as he still had plenty of photos.

Wang Bing prepared not just the money but also a sedative that she intended to sneak into his drink.

Wang Bing disguised herself, dressed in rags, to the point that even her own mother wouldn’t recognize her standing right in front of her.

Wang Bing went at night, arriving at Huang Mao’s home.

Huang Mao didn’t want to share the money with anyone else, so he didn’t invite his brothers over for dinner today, sending them all away instead.

"Oh, with that outfit you’ve got on, I barely recognized you!" Huang Mao laughed, "Come on in, come on in, hurry up."

Huang Mao understood Wang Bing’s actions, after all, she was about to become a governor’s wife; she certainly couldn’t be recognized!

"Cut the crap, hurry up and give me all the photos and negatives, or I won’t give you any money," Wang Bing said fiercely, angrily staring at Huang Mao, causing him to lower his guard.

If she had been too calm, that would have made Huang Mao suspicious.

"Hehe, don’t be mad, this is the last time, everything is here, take it," Wang Bing threw over a kraft paper package containing fifty Warring States coins, "I hope this is the last time, I beg you, this is the fine wine my dad left behind, I offer you a drink, please spare me."

Wang Bing was coquettish, her eyebrows and eyes so enticing to Huang Mao.

Even though Wang Bing was dressed shabbily, her graceful figure was still apparent. Remembering that soul-stirring encounter, Huang Mao couldn’t help but squint his eyes and say, "It’s not impossible, but I have one condition."

"What condition?" Wang Bing asked eagerly, determined to kill Huang Mao this time once and for all.

"Hehe, it’s very simple, it won’t cost you a thing," Huang Mao said with a wicked laugh, grabbing Wang Bing, "Sleep with me and I’ll agree to everything."

Wang Bing, frightened, said, "I’ve already given you the money, why would you..."

"It’s not like we haven’t slept together before, stop pretending to be pure!" Huang Mao picked up Wang Bing and threw her onto the bed, ready to have his way with her.

Wang Bing was crushed by Huang Mao and said sadly, "I know I can’t escape, but before you sleep with me, you must give me the items."

Huang Mao thought about it; he had a package here, and there was another set elsewhere. Even if he gave it to Wang Bing, it didn’t matter. He just hoped that once Wang Bing got these things, she would obediently submit to him and let him have his way.

While Huang Mao was looking for the photos, Wang Bing’s eyes were filled with a fierce glare, knowing it wasn’t the last of them, and perhaps there were even more.

In any case, she couldn’t let Huang Mao go this time.

Wang Bing took the bottle of wine, unscrewed the cap, poured a large glass, drank a sip, and then wrapped her arms around Huang Mao from behind before kissing Huang Mao’s bizarrely flavored lips, transferring the liquid from her mouth into his.

Huang Mao thought Wang Bing had softened up and had no idea that this was his send-off to the afterlife!

Wang Bing kept feeding him drink after drink, and Huang Mao, thrilled, unwittingly drank almost half the bottle. He started feeling dizzy and collapsed onto the bed, swaying.

In a daze, Huang Mao realized he had been tricked and drugged by this woman, Wang Bing.

Huang Mao was already asleep, and even though Wang Bing had fed most of the wine into Huang Mao’s mouth, she too had drunk some, though not enough to pass out.

Wang Bing found a rope and strangled Huang Mao to death. Even as Huang Mao struggled, it was to no avail.

Seeing Huang Mao’s distorted face, Wang Bing was very afraid, but she knew there was no turning back. For the sake of a peaceful future, she had to act decisively and cut the Gordian knot.

Huang Mao was insatiable and deserved to die!

After killing Huang Mao, Wang Bing, unconcerned with her own fear, immediately began searching the house.

Wearing gloves throughout the search, she found several sets of photographs and negatives.

Seeing these photos, Wang Bing felt even more convinced that Huang Mao deserved to die! Even dying a few more times would have been well deserved!
