"Keep up your exercise," He Tiantian added.

"Then I’ll carry on," Zhenghan said, full of youthful vigor in his sportswear.

Watching her grandson run off into the distance, Third Grandma Qi kept a smile on her lips.

"To this day, it still feels like a dream," Third Grandma Qi said, looking around with a hint of confusion in her eyes.

"This isn’t a dream, it’s real," He Tiantian chuckled, "We’ve just arrived in a country where the material wealth exceeds our expectations, so it’s natural to be curious and sometimes feel like we’re dreaming."

"Maybe you’re right," Third Grandma Qi murmured softly as they walked on the quiet path.

At mealtime, Third Grandma Qi said, "Zhenghan, Zhengmin, it’s not a day off. You should go to school instead of staying at home with me."

Qi Zhenghan and Qi Zhengmin paused, looking at Third Grandma Qi and then their father.

"Mom, it’s not often you visit. Let them stay home with you," Qi Shuliang said, deciding not to go to his office either.

"That won’t do!" Third Grandma Qi exclaimed, "Education is paramount. I demanded the same of you when you were young. Go to school. If you want to keep me company, you can do so in the evening or on the weekend, but you mustn’t neglect your studies."

Qi Shuliang was made to feel meek by his mother’s words and quickly said, "Studies are indeed the most important thing. I’ll send them off to school in a moment."

Anna smiled. Was this the notoriously strict mother-in-law from the legends?

Her husband dared not object in front of his mother.

Anna’s respect for her mother-in-law grew because she noticed the older woman’s value and respect for education—traits of a person with significant cultivation.

Anna, taking He Tiantian and Third Grandma Qi, went out for a stroll.

"Anna, could you take us to visit that big grocery store?" Third Grandma Qi requested. She remembered listening to Tiantian learning English and mentioning a very large store abroad that sells everything!

"A big grocery store?" Anna asked with curiosity, wondering what that place might be.

He Tiantian covered her mouth with a giggle and whispered, "It’s a supermarket! When studying English at home and I came across ’supermarket,’ Grandma asked what it meant. I explained it was like a supermarket, and when she didn’t understand, I told her it was akin to a very large grocery store in Country H!"

"Oh," Anna exclaimed, suddenly enlightened, "I see! Alright, today we’ll visit a supermarket."

Once at the supermarket, it was bustling with people.

Third Grandma Qi, looking at the variety of goods on the shelves, didn’t know where to look first.

Anna frowned and thought for a moment, then approached and said, "Mom, you really don’t have to worry about spending money. Your son is a wealthy man, he can afford everything in here!"

"Hehe, I know, I genuinely don’t need these things, I just wanted to have a look," Third Grandma Qi said with a laugh, "See if there is anything suitable for a young girl, and buy some for Tiantian."

He Tiantian shook her head and said, "I don’t need it either! As for food and things to use, you have prepared plenty."

Anna knew that people from Huaxia were polite, so whenever she saw where the eyes of He Tiantian and Third Grandma Qi lingered, she would pick those items and buy them.

That made both Third Grandma Qi and He Tiantian too embarrassed to continue shopping.

At noon, Anna accompanied them to eat Western food outside.

He Tiantian watched Anna’s actions and tried to imitate her.

After eating, Third Grandma Qi wanted to return because she had bound feet and couldn’t walk too far.

Upon returning, He Tiantian took a nap. With nothing else to do, she asked Anna for an original-language book and started reading it.

Time flew, and the weekend arrived.

It seemed the siblings had different tastes.

Since arriving here, had she seen TV yet? But she didn’t like those programs much.

"Okay!" Qi Zhengmin said, "Mom, can I have cola and eat popcorn today?"

"You can, but only a 500ml bottle of cola and a small bucket of popcorn," Anna said seriously. Her daughter’s teeth weren’t good, she couldn’t drink beverages with too much sugar or eat snacks.

"Yay!" Qi Zhengmin cheered, "I’ll go change my clothes, and we can leave right away."

Anna smiled and looked at her son, "Take good care of Tiantian and your sister."

Third Grandma Qi watched the children’s retreating figures heading upstairs and said, "Anna, you have raised the children very well, you are an amazing mother!"
