"Yingjun, have you notified Uncle Qi to come pick up grandma?" He Tiantian asked. Right now, the person Third Grandma Qi most wanted to see was probably Qi Shuliang.

Huo Yingjun smiled and said, "Grandma Qi, please don’t mind. We didn’t tell Mr. Qi beforehand, afraid that he might get too nervous!"

"It’s all right," Third Grandma Qi said. "Let’s go find him directly and give him a surprise!"

After all, if the old lady were to get too excited, anything might happen on the plane, and he could never atone for it!

"That’s our duty," Huo Yingjie replied. "We need to catch our flight now; see you later."

Anna came out of the dining room, Qi Zhengmin and Qi Zhenghan had already changed into their school uniforms, and said, "Dad, we’re going to school now."

Qi Shuliang stepped forward to hug his wife, patted his son on the shoulder, and ruffled his other son’s hair, saying, "Your grandmother is coming to Country M, she’ll arrive at the airport at twelve, we’re going to pick her up!"

"Mom?"

"Grandmother?"

Anna, Qi Zhenghan, and Qi Zhengmin were utterly astonished.

"Dear, you should call your company to adjust today’s work schedule. As for me, I will immediately get a comfortable room ready so that mom can have a comfortable stay."

After hearing his wife’s words, Qi Shuliang realized that in his excitement, he had forgotten everything!

Qi Shuliang asked his son and daughter to excuse themselves first, then he called the company’s secretary and senior management to say he wouldn’t be able to come in today because something had come up, and to manage the daily operations of the company.
