The Supreme Wild Young Master -

Chapter 512: Chapter 512: Just a Tiny Bit_1
The woman heard this, but didn’t retort Zhang Xian.
However, she found it really hard to believe that this fair and clean young man in front of her possesses extraordinary strength. He seemed just like a pretty boy no matter how she looked at him.
"Courting death." Jing Yi suddenly put down her bowl and chopsticks and closed her eyes.
Luo Shuining looked at Zhang Xian and said, "Don’t go, you can’t win. There are many things in this world that you can’t even imagine."
Zhang Xian chuckled, "Really?"
"Yes, really," Luo Shuining nodded, blushing as she saw Zhang Xian looking at her, she shyly lowered her head.
As a Post Acquired expert, her elder sister had reached the Post Acquired Peak. But that beast in the mountains wasn’t just any beast anymore, but a demonic beast, an enhanced version of a beast. Once a beast transforms into a demonic beast, its overall strength would greatly rise, exceeding multiples of its previous one.
"Big sister, I am full now," Zhang Xian suddenly stood up and said, "Let’s head into the mountains."
The woman said, "That ... I ..."
Zhang Xian looked at the woman, sincerely asking, "Could you please trust me? If you don’t, I’ll go there alone. I really don’t have much time!"
The woman did not nod, she looked at Master Jing Yi instead.
In her eyes, going there with Zhang Xian wasn’t as safe as going there with Master Jing Yi. At least, Master Jing Yi could ensure that they come back safely.
"Sister..." Luo Shuining nudged Master Jing Yi, "Should we go there once more?"
Master Jing Yi looked at Luo Shuining and asked, "Why should we go there? To seek death?"
Luo Shuining pouted and fell silent.
"I’m going to call people over," the woman hesitated and then turned to leave.
Originally, they wanted to wait until after the funeral ceremony before venturing there. At such a critical moment, they didn’t want to start any fight, neither were they confident in being able to kill that creature in the mountain.
Soon, she gathered some people.
Zhang Xian looked at the dozen strong men outside, feeling a bit saddened. In this small village, there were only around ten physical laborers. Yet, three of them were killed a few days ago.
"I’ve gotten the people, are we really proceeding with this?" the woman asked.
Zhang Xian replied, "Let them do as they usually do. You and I will be enough to go into the mountain. That creature can’t show off in front of me."
"Um..." a look of frustration appeared on the woman’s face.
Why was he so stubborn? They had already stated how formidable that creature in the mountains was, yet he still insisted on courting death. What was worse, he wanted her to accompany him.
"Let’s go, I’ll accompany you to have a look," Master Jing Yi, not bothering to deal with Zhang Xian, walked into the front.
The woman relaxed seeing Master Jing Yi’s approval.
Others didn’t want to go, opting to wait until after the funeral. It would be inauspicious if someone else died during the funeral.
But after being persuaded by the woman and knowing that they would have the assistance of Master Jing Yi and Luo Shuining, they finally agreed to go and take a look. They might even be able to get rid of the creature in the mountain this time.
"Why is no one talking to me?" Zhang Xian, standing at the back, couldn’t help but force a smile as no one was paying attention to him.
It seemed that he was the protagonist of this operation. The two women in the front were merely in the Post Acquired Realm, while he was an expert comparable to a Grandmaster.
With a sigh, Zhang Xian lagged behind the group.
Luo Shuining took a look around. Seeing Zhang Xian walking at the back of the line, she curiously asked, "Why are you staying at the back? Are you afraid?"
"Afraid of what," Zhang Xian gloomily replied, "it’s just a small creature, do you really think I would be afraid of it?"
Master Jing Yi couldn’t bear Zhang Xian’s arrogance. She glared at Luo Shuining and said, "Stop talking to that guy behind us. His voice gives me the urge to kill."
Zhang Xian slapped his forehead, showing a frustrated expression.
He was just being truthful. Why did no one believe him? They treated him like a self-righteous person instead.
What a sorrow! In this age, no one believed in the truth. Do they really want him, an expert comparable to a Grandmaster, to admit that he can’t defeat that small creature that could be dealt with even at the Post Acquired stage?
"Be careful, we’re almost there," the woman suddenly warned, "Zhang Xian, come to the middle, it’s not necessarily safe at the back because that creature sometimes performs sneak attacks."
"I..." Zhang Xian didn’t know what to say.
Even at this moment, big sister still didn’t believe him and wanted him to take a spot in the middle to seek protection from others.
He shook his head with a bitter smile, just as he was about to move forward, he instantly halted as he sensed an approaching presence, "Stop, the creature is already here."
"Ah..." upon hearing his words, the group immediately stopped.
Master Jing Yi and Luo Shuining also furrowed their brows, on high alert, although she didn’t believe Zhang Xian’s words that much. For now, there were no abnormalities emerging from the forest.
"Tsk tsk, this creature is almost reaching the Innate stage. But why did it come to this outer area?"
Zhang Xian moved to the front, gazing towards a direction and said, "Couldn’t it be, there is a territorial dispute in this Dragon Mountain Range and this creature was driven out?"
Master Jing Yi, her eyebrows knitted together, asked sharply, "What are you murmuring about?"
Zhang Xian chuckled without responding, heading towards the woods. "You all wait here, I’ll go take a look. That creature, it doesn’t even dare to come here, and it expects me to go out there and finish it off."
"Uh...," Master Jing Yi and the others were left speechless.
What the hell is he up to? There doesn’t seem to be any movement in those woods! This guy, he wouldn’t be tricking us, would he?
"Roar..."
At that moment, an angry roar suddenly echoed, and a dark figure charged straight at Zhang Xian.
"It’s this creature, be careful..."
The woman, Master Jing Yi, and Luo Shuining’s faces changed drastically. The creature was indeed on its way here, hiding in the bushes.
"Charge..." The dozen or so burly men came to their senses and were about to make a move.
Zhang Xian looked up at the flying shadow, the corners of his mouth stretching into an eerie smile.
The dark figure was a ferocious wolf, pitch-black and extremely sturdy. The faint spiritual energy fluctuations radiating from its body indicates it’s on the verge of transitioning to the Innate stage and transforming into a beast.
"This creature..." Seeing Zhang Xian seemingly frozen with fear, Jing Yi was about to rush over to drag him back.
Just then, Zhang Xian made a move.
He stretched out one hand, without any theatrical gestures and gave the black wolf a straightforward slap right on its face.
"Thwack..."
The black wolf, in mid-air, bulged its eyes and was horizontally flung away.
"Uh..." Master Jing Yi stopped in her tracks.
Luo Shuining Z’s mouth gaped open in disbelief as she watched the ferocious wolf being flung away.
The woman and the other villagers were also startled by Zhang Xian’s move. An entity they considered formidable was just slapped away by this youngster?
"Doesn’t even reach the Innate level, yet it dares to ambush me. What a way to seek its death." Zhang Xian took a step forward and delivered another slap.
This slap carried terrifying force. Just as the wolf hit the ground, another slap immediately followed, hitting it on the face.
The ferocious wolf let out a whimper, convulsing on the ground.
Zhang Xian lifted the wolf, strode towards the crowd, threw it on the ground, and announced, "I’ve dealt with this creature for you guys, you can handle the rest."
"This..." The woman gawked at Zhang Xian in astonishment.
Master Jing Yi exclaimed in disbelief, "You... you’re an Innate expert? How... how is that possible?"
Luo Shuining watched Zhang Xian, disbelief jumping in her eyes. Zhang Xian seemed to be around her age, how could he be an Innate expert? In cultivation, her master had always told her that she’s gifted and has the chance to step into the Innate Realm. But now, she hasn’t even reached the Post Acquired Peak, yet an Innate expert who is about the same age as her appears.
Indeed, this was hard for her to take in.
"Haha, more or less." Zhang Xian laughed, turning to the villagers. "Everybody, I’ve dealt with the ferocious wolf for you, is there anything else you need help with?"
The woman shook her head, "No... There’s nothing else, thank... thank you."
"It’s not a big deal, just lending a helping hand." Zhang Xian waved his hand and smiled, "If there’s nothing else, I’m entering the mountain."
The woman asked incredulously, "You... you’re really going up the mountain?"
Zhang Xian nodded, "I have to go in."
"You... you should probably not go." The woman said, "The dangers inside the Dragon Mountain Range far exceed those on the outside. Even though you’re powerful, it’s still... still not safe."
Zhang Xian laughed, "Don’t worry, I’ll be fine. Just because others don’t dare to go, doesn’t mean I don’t."
Master Jing Yi looked at Zhang Xian, unsure of what to say.
Previously, she did think that Zhang Xian was overestimating his abilities. But after witnessing Zhang Xian’s power, she didn’t know what to say.
The Dragon Mountain Range is far beyond what any ordinary person can imagine. Let aside the grave danger for Innate experts, even those at the Grandmaster Realm might not be able to cross this range. Perhaps only those at the pinnacle of this world who possess Legendary Realm power can try to navigate the Dragon Mountain Range freely.
"You... you shouldn’t go in!" Luo Shuining said, "It’s really dangerous inside."
"I know you guys mean well for me, but, there are some things that I must do. There’s no other way." Zhang Xian smiled, took a leap, and sped towards the interior of the mountain quickly.
Seeing Zhang Xian dashing off without looking back, Master Jing Yi sighed and said, "Let’s go back! Let him be if he doesn’t want to listen."
"I hope he doesn’t come across any danger." The woman heaved a sigh.
She initially wanted to have Zhang Xian stay and express her gratitude properly. If not for Zhang Xian, they would have been too afraid to hunt in these mountains again. Zhang Xian’s seemingly effortless act provided significant help to their entire village. If they couldn’t hunt and relied solely on farming, their villagers would struggle to maintain their livelihoods.
Unfortunately, Zhang Xian didn’t give her the opportunity, he left without delay, looking utterly carefree.
Luo Shuining frowned as she gazed into the depths of the forest, bit her lip and followed Jing Yi’s pace.
