James Brown, Gina Lopez, and Emily Lopez were all lying on the sofa at this moment, with James Brown in the middle. Both Gina and Emily were still resting their heads on James’s thighs, while James was lying on his side closer to Emily. Due to their positions, James was on the inside and Emily on the outside, and James’s arm was still around Emily’s thigh.

Mrs. Lopez, seeing such a scene, couldn’t help but be surprised. However, she quickly shook her head, noticing the many bottles of liquor on the coffee table. It was clear that the three had drunk too much the night before, and such a scene was not surprising after drinking too much. Since James didn’t do anything to Emily, she was even less concerned.

"Get up, everyone go back to your rooms and sleep," Mrs. Lopez called out to them.

James woke up first, rubbing his eyes, and quickly sat up with a start. Although Emily’s hairstyle had been the same as Gina’s in recent days, he could still tell them apart because of their different clothing. In front of Mrs. Lopez, it was quite inappropriate to be holding Emily like this.

"Auntie... Mom, about last night, we..."

Mrs. Lopez smiled and said, "It’s alright, I know you all drank too much. Hurry up and carry Gina back to bed to get some more sleep. You really shouldn’t have drunk so much, even if you were having fun."

James quickly agreed and carried Gina back to the bedroom. Gina was also awakened by then, but in such an awkward situation, she really didn’t know how to face her mother and simply pretended to be asleep.

James put Gina on the bed and collapsed there himself. They had really drunk too much the night before, and his head was still throbbing.

Gina felt pretty much the same, so she didn’t dwell on the fact that the three of them ended up sleeping together the night before, and soon fell into a deep sleep herself.

When Emily woke up, she felt quite annoyed. The night before, she had intended to get James and Gina drunk and then send them to their room, perhaps their inebriation would have led to something happening between them.

Today was the weekend, so both James and Gina didn’t have to get up early. They slept until 9 a.m. before Gina woke James up, and the family of five enjoyed a nice outing in the city. Gina bought a lot of things for her parents and also took the opportunity to buy many things for Emily.

After returning home, Emily said to Gina with a sly grin, "You know, big sis, it feels like you’re seeing me off."

Gina immediately responded, "You’re right. You’ll go back with Mom and Dad later."

"Why should I?" Emily immediately objected.

"Of course I need to work. I can’t expect you to provide for me."

"Exactly. Your job is in YODC City, and you’ve stayed here for such a long time now. It’s time for you to go back to work."

Emily giggled and said, "Well, you’re wrong there. My job is now here in YODC City, and Brother-in-law is the one who helped me find it."

"I helped you find it?" James was puzzled.

"Hehe, didn’t you take me to meet that dancer last time? She has a dance school here and has agreed to let me be a dance teacher there. So now, my job is here in YODC City."

Seeing Gina’s displeased expression, Emily spoke even more smugly, "This is something that Mom and Dad would also support. Don’t forget, I also have a prospective boyfriend here. If you make me go back, it’ll all be for nothing."

Mrs. Lopez immediately said, "That’s right, let Emily stay here. But Emily, you can’t live at your sister’s any longer; it’s too inconvenient."

Emily pouted, but before she could argue, Gina already said, "Mom, let Emily stay with me. If she went somewhere else, I wouldn’t feel at ease."

Emily was immediately delighted and said with a chuckle, "Right, right, I’m such a troublemaker. If I accidentally caused any trouble, it wouldn’t be good. I still need my big sister to watch over me."

Mrs. Lopez was amused by Emily’s antics, but soon put on a serious face and said, "Then you have to behave yourself here and listen to your sister and your brother-in-law."

Emily immediately hugged James’s arm, giggling, "You always listen to Brother-in-law most, but as for my sister... I usually wouldn’t listen to her."

Gina’s face darkened at that, but Jonathan Lopez and his wife weren’t bothered by how close Emily was with James. After all, everyone was going to be family soon, and families should get along well. Besides, a younger aunt teasing her brother-in-law has been a traditional jest for many years, never seen as inappropriate, but rather enjoyed, especially by the older generations, who saw it as a perfectly natural thing.

On Sunday morning, Jonathan Lopez and his spouse took a flight back home. After seeing James and Gina truly married, they were relieved. Staying any longer would just be in the way of the young couple.

After seeing off the two elders, James finally breathed a sigh of relief and relaxed, saying, "The task is finally complete. I’m dead tired."

Gina felt the same relief, and now she could go back to doing the things she enjoyed.

At this moment, Emily humphed, mimicking their mother’s tone, "You two, go and give me a grandchild."

Gina pinched her sister, scolding, "What nonsense are you talking about? Let me tell you, you better go to work properly tomorrow, or don’t blame me for kicking you out."

"Fine, go ahead and kick me out. If you do, I’ll just move in with my brother-in-law. Brother-in-law, you’d take me in, wouldn’t you?" Emily tugged at James’s arm and gently swayed it.

Gina Lopez glared and said, "Let him go."

"Why should I? I like it this way." Emily Lopez spoke and even wrapped her arms around James Brown, gently swinging them, obviously rubbing her chest against his arm.

It was the airport hall, crowded with people coming and going. Such a beauty holding his arm indeed attracted quite a few glances, but others wouldn’t think much of it since intimacy between couples is normal.

But Gina Lopez was about to explode with anger. She lowered her voice and said angrily, "He is your brother-in-law, do you realize that? And you’re acting like this with him."

"So what? He’s not really my brother-in-law. Why should I be scared?"

"You... I’m telling you, it’s true."

"That’s only if the brother-in-law agrees. Brother-in-law, did you agree to her?"

James Brown felt a headache coming on as the sisters put him in a difficult position again.

"Look, the brother-in-law didn’t agree. Just by getting a fake certificate, you think you can tie him down? No way." Emily Lopez was even more smug, deliberately provoking Gina Lopez.

Gina Lopez took the bait and gritted her teeth, "Even if we haven’t registered our marriage, we are together. That night we were together."

James Brown was immediately dumbfounded. Gina Lopez’s words had a lot of implications.

Before James could speak, Emily Lopez had already pulled his arm, "Brother-in-law, is it true? Did you really do ’that’ with my sister?"

"Nothing! Absolutely nothing!" James Brown was not about to admit, vehemently shaking his head.

Gina Lopez grabbed the other arm of James and said fiercely, "What do you mean nothing? That night, you touched me all over, doesn’t that count?"

"Ah... Brother-in-law, did you really touch her?" Emily Lopez’s eyes widened, revealing a very peculiar look.

"This...this...it was acting, okay?" James Brown explained feebly.

"I don’t care if it was acting or not, I’m asking if it happened?" Gina Lopez raised her head high, looking proud and assertive.

"This... Yes." James Brown reluctantly admitted, but quickly added, "We are in a public place right now. Can we discuss this in the car?"

Gina Lopez also noticed that everyone around was watching them. Although she and Emily wore different outfits, their faces looked identical, making it obvious they were twins. With both holding onto James’s arms, they were drawing too much attention. Being somewhat of a celebrity in YODC City, it would be embarrassing if someone familiar recognized her, so she hastily let go of James’s arm.

However, Emily still held onto James’s arm tightly and pulled him, saying, "Brother-in-law, let’s go. We won’t pay her any attention."

Watching the two walk away, Gina Lopez was very angry and wanted to pull James back, but considering the situation, she eventually held back and followed behind.

As it was a trip to send Gina Lopez’s parents off, they had driven Gina’s Mercedes. Now on the way back, the three of them were sitting in the same car. James had just taken the driver’s seat when Emily quickly seized the front passenger seat, leaving Gina fuming yet again.

As soon as they got in the car, James immediately said, "Let’s talk back at home, it’s not safe to drive like this."

Gina Lopez snorted and didn’t reply, sure of her advantage since she had already gone that far with James. She wasn’t convinced she couldn’t handle Emily, so she sat in the back, shoulders hugged, exuding a calm and confident demeanor.

Finally, they arrived at Gina Lopez’s residential complex. James smiled and said, "You guys go down first, I’ll park the car."

Emily narrowed her eyes and said, "Brother-in-law, you’re not planning to run away, are you?"

James was caught by Emily and awkwardly replied, "No, no. Why would I run away?"

"Let’s go together then." Emily replied with a sly smile, like a cunning little fox.

James had no choice but to park the car and was escorted upstairs by the two sisters.

As soon as they entered the house, Gina pushed James onto the couch and stood in front of him, saying pridefully, "Now tell Emily how far we’ve developed, and don’t you dare hide anything!"

James had thought through his strategy in the car and now lit a cigarette, taking a couple of heavy drags before gritting his teeth and saying, "This isn’t my fault, right?"

"Gina Lopez!" Gina raised her voice in suppressed rage, "Are you saying you won’t own up to it?"

James leaned back, looking wronged, "That day I did touch you, touched your... you know, there... but it was all over the clothes..."

Gina turned to look at Emily Lopez and said, "Did you hear that? Do you still think what’s between us is fake?"
