Chapter 118: Chapter 118 Gina Lopez’s Overbearing Presence
The phone rang inappropriately—it was James Brown’s phone. The movements of the three of them immediately ceased as Alice Brown and Jennifer Hog looked at James Brown with questioning eyes.
James Brown pulled his hand out and took out his phone. Seeing the number, it was Gina Lopez calling.
James hesitated for a moment, signaled to Alice Brown and Jennifer Hog, who obediently moved aside, and then he answered the phone.
"James, has your class reunion ended?" As soon as the call connected, Gina Lopez’s voice came through, carrying a sultry tone.
Gina’s tone was clearly too unusual, as she definitely wouldn’t speak to him like that normally. James felt there must be a problem and immediately went along with her words, "It’s almost over, is there something wrong?"
"Once it’s over, hurry home. Sandra is already here."
James broke into a sweat, sure enough, there was a problem. Emily Lopez had come over without even giving notice. At this point, he could only say, "I’ll be home in a bit."
"Brother-in-law! Hurry back or my sister will start to get angry," came Emily’s yell from the phone. Her voice was almost identical to Gina’s, but because the tone was different, James could still tell it was her immediately.
James quickly replied, "Okay, half an hour, I’ll definitely be home."
After hanging up, James apologetically said to the two, "Sorry, I have something to tend to."
Alice Brown and Jennifer Hog were disheveled and flush with springtime at this moment. Seeing James was about to leave, they both pouted their lips. However, they didn’t stop him but considerately helped tidy his clothes, picking every hair strand off him and even had him wash his face and chew some gum to make sure he wouldn’t carry their perfume scent.
Their considerate actions indeed made James very comfortable, but today he certainly couldn’t enjoy this beauty anymore, as Gina’s situation couldn’t be neglected.
"Mr. Smith, if it’s convenient in the future, just come straight over," Alice Brown said soulfully to James before he left.
Alice gently embraced James and said, "Mr. Smith, we will definitely not mingle with other men in the future, we are yours."
Such words were usually very pleasing to any man, but James was taken aback, chuckled nervously, and said, "We’ll see about that later, I have to go now."
Leaving Alice Brown and Jennifer Hog, James felt both regret and relief. Being intimate with such beauties was naturally very exciting and stimulating. Upstairs earlier, even though things hadn’t progressed to the main topic, just flirting around was enough enjoyment for James, but to truly make these two his escorts was not so easy.
Shaking his head, James didn’t deliberately think about the two of them anymore; they were just passersby in his life after all. If there was a connection, it was fate, without it, there was nothing to regret.
Twenty minutes later, James had already arrived at Gina Lopez’s home, and because Emily had come, it could only be considered his home now.
He took out his keys, opened the door, and upon entering, Gina came up to greet him, but Emily was nowhere to be seen. He immediately asked, "Where’s Sandra?"
Gina said, "Sandra went out for a bit and will be back later."
James asked with some confusion, "Why did she run out right after she arrived? Does she know anyone here?"
Gina snorted, "She’s always running around wildly. Who knows who she’s gone to see? Don’t worry about her."
Quickly shaking his head, James replied, "It’s not really good, though. This isn’t like being at your house, this is YODC City. Sandra is unfamiliar with the place. If something happens, how would we explain it to your parents?"
"Don’t worry about her, come and sit," Gina suddenly grabbed James’s hand and pulled him into the living room to sit down.
James was quite astonished. With Emily not at home, Gina didn’t need to be like this, right? Could it be that Emily was actually at home now and was just pretending not to be, to test him?
This indeed was very much Emily’s style, she could likely be forcing Gina to say she wasn’t here, then secretly watching what he did with Gina at home.
With Gina’s bedroom door open, but the other bedroom door locked, it further confirmed James’s suspicion. Now he didn’t need Gina to say what to do next; he already knew.
Sitting next to Gina, James smiled and said, "Gina, I’ll go buy some groceries early, and tonight I’ll cook a big dinner for Sandra at home."
Gina Lopez immediately said excitedly, "Sure, Sandra loves the dishes you cook."
After a pause, Gina glanced up and down at James Brown and said with a smile, "Did you meet any female classmates at the reunion today?"
James didn’t look toward the closed bedroom door and said, "There were female classmates, but of course, they can’t compare to you, Gina."
"Really? You’re not just saying that, right?" Gina stared at James incredulously.
"Of course, it’s true, my heart only has you."
Gina didn’t object, her body was a bit stiff, but she leaned on his shoulder and said, "Really? Don’t lie to me, I always feel like you’re not sincere."
"Why wouldn’t I be sincere?"
"It’s been so long, and I haven’t been with you yet... You’re not mad at me, are you?"
"No, I respect you. Didn’t you say the most precious thing should be saved for our wedding night? For that beautiful night, I will hold on."
"You are so kind." Gina turned her head and looked at James with tender eyes.
"James..." Gina suddenly called out softly.
James was really about to faint. What was Gina up to, playing for real like this? That wasn’t good at all. Even if they really needed a kiss to prove their relationship, Gina didn’t need to make it so tempting, just a glance would have been enough. While hesitating whether to go ahead with the kiss, suddenly the sound of a key turning in the door rang out, and Gina immediately sprang up from the couch, bursting into laughter.
Hearing that laughter, James suddenly felt foolish—it was clearly Sandra’s happy laugh. At that moment, the door opened, and another Gina walked in. James then fully understood that the one who had been here was Sandra, and Gina had just returned.
At that time, Sandra, too, had styled her hair in big wavy curls like Gina’s and was wearing Gina’s clothes. Since the two were twins, they could usually be distinguished by their different styles. But now, with the same hairstyles and clothes along with Sandra deliberately mimicking Gina’s tone, James couldn’t tell them apart at all. He had been completely fooled by Sandra just now.
It was a good thing James thought Sandra was hiding in the bedroom; otherwise, their cover would have been blown much earlier.
"What are you laughing at?" Gina frowned and stared at Sandra.
Sandra blinked at James and said, "Nothing much, I was just teasing my brother-in-law. He really didn’t recognize me."
James immediately forced a smile and said, "Sandra, you really are too mischievous, making your hair like your sister’s."
Sandra tugged at her hair and said with a grin, "I think this style is quite nice, and it’s fun to go to the company pretending to be my sister sometimes."
Gina’s face fell and she said, "Don’t you dare cause trouble at the company, or I’ll send you right back home."
Sandra stuck out her tongue and said, "I was just joking." She pulled Gina closer and asked James, "Can you tell me and my sister apart now?"
James studied them both and said, "Now I can definitely tell; you’re always smiling, and your sister is always stern."
Gina instantly realized James was poking fun at her and rolled her eyes at him, "You don’t like it?"
James quickly replied with a smile, "How could I not like it? I could never get enough of it."
Only then did Gina say contentedly, "That’s more like it, I bought groceries, so tonight you’re cooking something delicious for Sandra at home."
James immediately stood up and declared loudly, "Understood, tonight Sandra will be fully satisfied."
He went straight into Gina’s room, changed into home clothes, hung his suit in the closet, and came out dressed comfortably.
Seeing Sandra and Gina sitting in the living room, James felt a massive headache coming on. If they didn’t speak and Sandra deliberately made Gina’s expressions, he honestly couldn’t tell who was who. Sandra dressing up this way was clearly intentional; from now on, the most uncomfortable one in this house would really be him. If he wasn’t careful and made a mistake, that would undoubtedly blow his cover.
