As Alicia was trying to stabilize herself in order to launch an attack at the zombie, the zombie had already arrived before her. Then before she could even react, another punch was launched towards her.

Alicia wanted to block the attack using hands, but due to the fact that the speed that she possessed could not match the one that the zombie possessed, he could only watch helplessly as the punch approached her.

Although Alicia was currently injured, that did not mean that she was going to give in. Additionally, she was a mage. That implied that she did not mainly depend on her body when it came to the matters of attacking.

So, instead of responding to the zombie, she mobilized the energy in her body before she launched an attack on the zombie. This time, she was using a lightning thread, the same as the one that she had used on Aaron and Jeffrey.

But unlike the one that she had used against the other two, this time, this thread was about 10 cm wide in diameter. Its movements were extremely agile, and even before the zombie could react, it had already wrapped around his hand, and it was trying to wrap around his entire body.

The zombie was a little surprised. He had not expected that Alicia was going to attack even in the condition that she was currently in. But still, he did not panic although the thread was trying to surround his body fully.

Alicia did not respond. But no matter what, she was not going to agree to become a zombie. If she was going to be turned into a zombie, it was better for her to die, than become a walking corpse.

The zombie realized that Alicia was not going to respond. He was just about to say something when suddenly, his expression shifted. He looked towards the southern side of the territory.

He was not the only one because even Alicia was forced to look in that direction. This was due to the fact that there was a presence that had suddenly emerged in that direction, completely unfamiliar to them.

They could feel that the aura was just as strong as the one that the zombie possessed. In fact, they could feel that it was slightly stronger. That implied that there was another diamond rank apocalyptic creature or human that had appeared in this area.

The zombie had a frown on his face. He was not sure who the owner of this aura that had suddenly erupted was, but he believed that it was definitely not going to be good for his plans.

Of course he believed that there was no way that it belonged to the zombie race. After all, he was the strongest zombie present in the entire city and the surrounding few cities.

They had seen when Alicia was completely dominated by the zombie, before she was even taken away by the zombies. This immediately made the morale of the group of people that had already noticed what was going on to drop drastically.

This group of people was already getting overwhelmed by large number of zombies. Even their own leader could not take care of the leader of the zombies, and was even kidnapped. So, that implied that as long as they continue staying here, they were going to simply die. There was no hope.

The majority of the people wanted to get out of here. But considering that most of them possessed families within the territory, they were completely unwilling to abandon them. But still, even if they continued fighting, with the low morale and demotivation, the casualties suddenly increased drastically. The zombies made sure to take advantage of the humans whenever they were not paying attention.

The leader of the zombies simply looked at the direction of the battlefield for a moment, before he focused towards the direction where he had felt the aura before. Then without hesitation, he immediately rushed off, wanting to deal with this trouble as soon as possible.
