A month had already gone by ever since the apocalypse descended. Things had always been regressing differently from the start. There are some areas that things went opposite the expectations of many.

The other races that had already descended into this planet had already began conquering several parts of the planet. All the humans that were in that area were either turned into slaves, or were completely eliminated.

All of this depended on the type of race that had descended in that particular area. If it was the most cruel one, then every single human being in that particular area was going to be killed.

And, if it was a race that was a little lenient, then, the humans in that area would be turned into slaves. They would be used to take care of the menial labor, and other things, including being a source of entertainment for the other races.

There were even situations where some humans were released from their captivity. But, not long after they had been released, they would be hunted down by that particular race that had released them.

This blanched the human race into despair. That was especially so for those that experiencing the cruel side of the other races that had descended into this world.

There were even some situations where an entire country was completely eliminated. But of course, all of this was not done by just a single race, but, several different races combined.

And for some reason, instead of simply attacking each other because this was a battle for domination, they were actually targeting the human race first. And, in case the two races that came from different origins met up, then, they did not fight against each other, but instead, completely ignored each other.

It was as if they had come to an agreement that they were going to eliminate the human race first. And for that reason, the human race could not depend on the other races fighting against each other to gain time for themselves.

It was only after the elimination of humans in several nations that the races that were currently present in that particular nation began facing each other. But still, they did not go all out in the small scuffles that occurred from time to time.

During this particular month, several things had also changed. New resources began appearing, new types of plants that contained medicinal substances that the human race had not seen before also appeared.

Together with this, those that were dealing with research of the potions that were dropping after killing monsters and members of the other races finally got some clue.

But it was just that, although there was some success in the manufacturing of the potions, but, the level of potions was not at the same level as the one that dropped after killing the monsters.

Nevertheless, the drop rate of the potions was extremely low. So, even though it might be true that the potions that were being manufactured by the humans were not at the same level as the ones that dropped, but still, they provided assistance to the human race that was currently at war against the myriad races.

As for the Domination Star territory, after they had eliminated the members of the dark race, the only danger that was lacking around was from the monster race.

But so far, the monster race had not made any move. Instead, only those wondering monsters could be found, and from time to time, one would see that there was a monster that tried to spy and sneak into the city, but they would be killed.

Completely different from the situation in different parts of the world, the situation here was completely opposite. While the other humans in other parts of the world were trying to get away from the other races and the monsters that were attacking them continuously, the members of this territory were actually going to hunt for the monsters.

And from time to time, complaints could be heard from the people that the number of monsters was so low. But, nobody could blame them. After all, for those warriors, the only way that they could gain the merit points was through killing the monsters.

After killing the monsters, they were supposed to bring the bodies together with the mutation crystal within the head of the monster. And, the merit points were awarded according to the level of the mutation crystal that they had brought.

Henry was quite lenient when it came to this. He had decided to price a single level 1 rank O mutation crystal for a single merit point.

This went on until level 9 of rank O, where a level 9 mutation crystal was worth 9 merit points. As for the level 1 bronze rank mutation Crystal, it was worth 15 merit points.

Going forward, each level would increase the number of merit points by 5, implying that a level two bronze rank mutation crystal was what 20 merit points.

Other than this, there was the progress of the entire territory as a whole. Although it was true that the entire city had not yet been reclaimed, but still, they had already created a road that was used to enter and exit the city.

Additionally, several buildings had already been repaired. As for those that were found within the territory protection barrier, Henry went ahead and upgraded them, just like the ones that he did before.

As usual, there was always a privilege. Those that possessed the highest merit points accumulated so far, they would be given a chance of staying within the protection barrier.

As for those that wanted to lazy around or cause trouble, all of them had already experienced the fact that whatever Henry had said was actually going to be the way that it was said to be.

All those trouble makers had already been dealt with in the harshest way possible. This was not only to tell those that wanted to cause trouble that there was a price that they were going to pay, but, this was also to ensure order through fear.

But of course, fear alone could not work. So, Henry had also given benefits to the members of the territory by providing them with equipment and other things at a lower price.

As for the items that dropped during the time that they had killed the monsters, Henry did not take them, instead, he left the people to continue processing them.

Additionally, he had already opened a store that was in charge of purchasing and selling the equipment and other items. That was just in case a person found an item, but it was completely useless to them.

If that was the case, they would just go ahead and sell that item inside the store. The price of the item was the same as the selling price of the store. That implied that, the store was not running at a benefit, something that completely pleased the majority of the members of Domination Star territory.

This was yet another method that Henry was utilizing in order to make sure that everybody felt a sense of belonging. But, he knew that it was going to be difficult for everybody to settle in this new world.

With all the changes that had happened, with many people losing their loved ones, then, it was going to take some time for them to be able to overcome their sorrows.

Sarah on the other hand had not yet woken up. This was something strange. After Henry came over, he realized that there was actually something that could be utilized in order to wake her up. It was just that, that item was actually priced at five level one gold rank mutation crystals.

Had it not been for the fact that the price was so high, and he himself had not encountered any gold rank monster until now, then, Henry would have definitely purchased an item that was capable of waking Sarah up.

In any case, Sarah was considered very vital to the territory. And for that reason, if there was a chance that he could wake her up, even if it cost him some mutation crystals, he did not care. After all, mutation crystals were things that he could find after killing a few more monsters.

Still, until now, Henry did not understand the reason why the price was so high. After all, previously, he was able to purchase many things using bronze rank mutation crystals. But for this one, it actually required mutation crystals that were at level 1 of the gold rank.

Olivia had also been getting a little restless. After all, she had also realized that it was going to be difficult for Sarah to be woken up. She had already given up on the idea of feeding Sarah the healing potion considering that whatever item it was that Henry was mentioning was so expensive.

And since that was the case, that implied that the healing potion would not have any effect on Sarah. And due to that reason, Olivia was a little irritated the entire time. Anytime that Adam tried to converse with her, she would immediately snap at him.

But still, she did not go beyond her limits. It was just that she was emotional at this moment, and she really did not know how to handle these emotions that she was having. This was one of those few and rare moments that she was being overwhelmed by her own emotions.

As for Adam, he really did not understand why it was that Olivia was so irritated at him. But in any case, he really did not care that much. To him, as long as Olivia did not do anything like trying to get together with Henry, he did not care.
