Chapter 54: Chapter 54

I tried to stand up but I was getting too exhausted and I was having trouble getting out of the chair.

"Can you guys excuse us for a moment?" I asked looking at everyone else at the table. I saw Tyler smirking as I was trying to get out of the chair.

"Sure. We’ll be over there hurrying up that food." Tyler says kissing me.

"Yes please. Tell Ethan I am pregnant and ravenous. I will eat him if he doesn’t hurry up." I said loudly.

"I’m going as fast as I can." Ethan defended himself. And everyone left the table and I told the guys to sit down.

"So, you four were all out looking for me as well." I say.

"You are our sister. No matter what you say. We do love you." Ben says.

"I know that. And I know now that I’ve been a real bitch. I think I felt abandoned when you guys left. You said that you were going to come back for me but you never did. You left me alone with him." I explained.

"We tried." Heath says.

"What?" I asked.

"We tried to come back a couple of times. The Alpha wouldn’t let us back on the terrirory. He even ordered his warriors to kill us if we stepped foot over the boarder." Kai explained.

"I wish I could say that I was surprise. But I’m really not. Why didn’t you tell me this earlier?" I asked.

"You’ve been through enough. You didn’t need to hear that there was someone else out there trying to screw you over. And that’s exactly what Daniel was doing. He was keeping you from us." Ben says.

"He knew that if we came back then he wouldn’t be able to touch you again because we wouldn’t allow it. We were older and stronger and he knew that. He wanted to keep you to use you as he pleased. We would have just gotten in the way." Cooper says.

"I’m so sorry. I should have trusted that there was a reason. But you guys left when I was 6. Over time, I guess I just forgot a lot of things. I don’t even remember if we were close when I was young." I say.

"Are you kidding. You and Cooper were inseparable. Just like you and Bella. If you weren’t with Bella and Ethan. Then you were with Bella and Cooper." Ben says.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yeah. And I used to help with some of the pranks that you played on Ethan." Cooper admitted.

"I knew it." Ethan yelled from the barbeque and I started laughing.

"That must be where I got it from." I say.

"Definitely." Heath agreed. " You two were always getting into trouble." He continued.

"I really wish I could remember all of this. It seems like I’ve missed so much." I say. And Heath pulls out a photo album and hands it to me.

"Hopefully that will help you remember." He says.

I open the front page and the first photo was of me with all four of the guys swimming at the lagoon. The label next to it says that I was 5 years old.

"That’s our favorite photo. That’s why we put it at the front. But that’s six years worth of photos in there. From the day you were born. We managed to salvage it before Daniel got rid of all your mother’s things. Don’t worry, there aren’t any pictures of Daniel." Cooper explained.

"Can I have this?" I asked.

"That’s why he bought it. It’s all yours." Heath says. And I started turning the pages. All of the photos that were taken of me with these guys. And there were photos of me and Bella in there too.

"I’m so sorry how I treated you. I didn’t remember any of this." I say.

"We didn’t do this to make you feel bad. We just needed to explain everything. That we didn’t stay away. We did try to come for you. But we couldn’t get there." Ben explained.

"I know that now. And I think I definitely have room in my life for four brothers. If you guys still think of me like that." I say trying to choke back a couple of tears.

"We’ve never stopped thinking of you like that." Heath says. And they all got up and gave me a hug.

"So, it looks like you’re all going to be uncles as well." I say.

"We can’t wait." Cooper says.

"We’re gonna spoil that one like we used to do to you." Kai says.

"Okay. I can handle that. This baby has so many aunt’s and uncle’s. Considering I started out with no family at all. This baby isn’t going to have any of that." I smile rubbing my stomach.

"Absolutely not. It’s going to have so many protectors that it will get so sick of us." Heath says.

"Good. That’s the way I want it." I say.

That night was everything I wanted. Family and friends altogether getting along. Laughing and having a good time. We were all interacting with each other. Species be damned. It didn’t matter to any of us anymore.

It was something that we needed to discuss with the pack. They may be uncomfortable with vampires hanging around but I was going to make sure that we always had blood bags at the packhouse for when they are coming to visit and no one had anything to worry about. The vampires weren’t going to kill anyone that was in my home or territory. I still took my position as Luna very seriously. And I wasn’t going to risk my pack members lives. They were family as well. I truly believed that. Especially after what they have all done for me after I disappeared. The outpouring of love and respect that I have received through mind links from people that I don’t even know proved that they care the same way about me.

Tyler finally kicked everyone out at around 11pm and people complained but he insisted because he said that I needed my rest. So I apologized for my overprotective mate but he was right. I was getting really tired.

So they all left and we headed up to the bedroom. We had a shower and I finally climbed into my beautiful and comfortable bed and I let out a sigh of relief as soon as I was in it. It was just what I needed.

Tyler just chuckled at me and climbed in next to me and pulled me to him and I rested my head on his chest.

I laid there for a little while listening to his heart beat slowly and calmly while he rubbed my back and I was asleep really quickly after that.

"Alpha. We’re pinned down. The rogues just keep coming. We can’t stop them." A man yelled.

"I know. We weren’t prepared. They knew our defenses and ran straight through it." The Alpha yelled.

"We need help. But the only packs that can handle this are Alpha Tyler and Alpha Ethan. Their too far away. We’ll all be dead before they get here." The warrior yelled.

"I know. We need to do our best. Don’t let them get past this forest. They can’t get into town. They can’t get to the rest of the pack." The Alpha yelled.

"How are we meant to do that?" The warrior asked.

"Fight with everything you have." The Alpha yelled.

"This is why I chose you. I needed to meet you before I showed you this." Seline says as I was standing in the woods watching this carnage in front of me. A pack being destroyed by rogues.

"Who are they? What pack are they?" I asked.

"The Single Moon pack. This hasn’t happened yet. You can still stop it." She explains.

"Tyler won’t leave my side." I say.

"You have more warriors than them. You can help them. They need help. They will be attacked in two days. This is the only time I will come to you with this message. You need to follow your instincts from now on. Good luck." Seline explained as she disappeared into the wind.

I woke up in my bedroom and I looked around for a minute trying to process what I just saw. I woke Tyler up and told him to come with me.

So we headed to the office and I went through Tyler’s phone list and I found Single Moon Pack’s phone number.

I tell them who I am and they have definitely heard of me and who I am. The Alpha referred to me as the Luna who opened the Heavens.

"Listen to me, you are going to be attacked by rogues. And you will be greatly outnumbered. They are going to destroy your pack." I say.

"How do you know that?" He asked.

"I just do. Listen, we are going to send warriors to your pack tomorrow morning. Plenty of them, they will stay until the attack. This isn’t a trick, this isn’t a prank. You guys are in danger. Trust me. They will be there in the morning and they are only there to help. I promise." I explained.

"Well, I have heard not to doubt you and your instincts. I accept the offer. Thank you. Do you know when the attack will happen?" He asked.

"Within the next couple of days. It will be night and there will be a lot of them. You won’t stand a chance. You’re just a little pack and they know that." I say.

"We appreciate the help Luna." He says and I hang up the phone.

"Alright. You need to start explaining." Tyler says looking at me confused.

So I lean back in my chair and I tell him about when I was unconscious in the hospital and Seline came to me. She also came to me in that dream. We need to sent warriors there and we need to do it first thing in the morning. I know that they will be attacked.

Tyler agreed with it. He’ll go through the list of warriors and pick out the ones that he will send.

I wanted to help him stay up and go through the list. I had to because this was because of me. But he insisted that I go back to bed and get some rest. But he asked me not to have any more dreams please. He can’t sent anymore warriors away.

I smirk at him and tell him that I make no promises.
