Life went as usual for Sidney. She was documenting everything and thought that she is getting away. She found out the little things that might be used against him. Although she didn’t know the extent of her husband’s wrongdoings, she knew he had something to do with the disappearance of Laura Brown. That was the night he came back covered in blood.

She also took pieces of the "venison" her husband stored in his freezer, and she is keeping all those in a storage unit that guy she is "seeing" rented. That other guy does not know what she keeps in that storage unit. Only she knows that all the proof that might lead to the arrest of her husband is in that storage unit.

She made the final preparations to leave Lennon for good.

It was then she noticed another woman who is getting closer to her husband. Her spies who are other women in her social circle informed her that her husband was seen with Liam’s secretary near their old mansion.

She is dead too, isn’t she?

She didn’t hand over what she thought are evidence against her husband to the cops, because she knew no one would do anything against him. He has friends in high places, and he spends money like water on them. They will let him walk away.

Also, she naively thought that her husband would be scared and let her leave if he knows that she has those evidence.

He wouldn’t want Rory to know that he is a killer, right?

Derick’s wedding was a perfect opportunity for escaping. Or so she thought. She was planning on sending him alone for the wedding. She didn’t want to step foot inside the Roberts’ house. They don’t treat her well. The only person who treats her well is Rory, and she hated her.

As usual, Derick didn’t even invite them to the wedding, but her husband found a way to shamelessly sneak in. She thought Rory won’t attend the wedding considering that she is getting divorced from Liam, but she had to go to that town because her grandmother was sick.

She despised him when he did not let her stay. She knew he knows something, or he is planning something. She didn’t want to be with him. She was scared.

And now she knows why he brought her here. She knows why he made her pregnant.

It was all for Rory.

Rory is a smart woman. And she is very devoted to Liam. It would be hard to make her heart sway. He has to corner her and make her lean on him without casting any doubts on him.

And now he succeeded in that.

She grunted at the series of kicks landing on her. He was kicking her until his legs went sore from kicking her. She tried to protect the baby in her belly, but that guy... he knew where her belly was and concentrated his kicks there.

He stopped after he felt like it. She heard him spit. She didn’t mind that. She tried to focus on the movement of the baby. Because she couldn’t feel anything anymore.

And then she was moved. She heard another guy with her husband. It was Liam’s assistant. She started to get terrified. She regretted not telling Rory everything. She could at least have sought the help of Rory’s grandmother.

But she was stupid thinking that she could outwit her husband. She thought that when her husband is distracted with Rory, she could make her escape. But that didn’t happen. He brought her here for a reason.

He knew everything!

He didn’t care that she tried to kill herself. But he told her that he knew her plans to leave him and that he will stop it. She didn’t know how he knew about it. She thought she was being secretive.

Sidney stayed silent swallowed by terror and regrets.

She wanted to scream. It has been a long time since she felt the little flutters and movements of her baby.

Please, don’t leave me...

She willed herself to keep the baby. But no. Her body was not listening to her. She started having contractions. As she was taken to God knows where she could feel her pants getting sticky. She knew what it was.

The baby is gone.

She didn’t know what to do. Her heart felt like it was getting squished in a blender. Her entire body hurt. She blacked out.

Lennon stopped the car in front of the house. His old mansion as Rory mentioned it. It was closer to the woods, and it is the hiding spot that he loves. Having others there was a nuisance and that’s why he built a new house.

But he never forgets this house. Whenever he has ’urges’ he would visit this house. When he looks at all of his trophies, he would feel full.

"Did she answer?" Julia asked Derick who was walking to and fro in the living room. He was talking to people from his agency to track her.

He even asked to file for a BOLO alert for her.

"They are trying to get a warrant on her," Derick said. "That stupid! Where the hell is she?"

"Warrant?" Julia was shocked. "Why?"

"Don’t know... I think..." Derick sighed. "I think they are trying to get to Liam by getting her. I know that trick. They will show her arrest warrant to him and he’ll..."

Derick sat beside Julia.

"Is this something you guys do?" Julia asked.

Derick bowed his head in shame. It happens. It is illegal but it happens. Once the agency determines that someone is guilty, they will do everything to charge that person. And by anything that means anything. They would emotionally threaten them. It is a usual tactic to threaten them with a family member.

Mostly anyone would give in once they involve their family. Unless they are a psychopath.

Yeah...unless they are a... PSYCHOPATH!

But Liam... He is not a psychopath. On what basis are they so sure that Liam is a serial killer?

As he was in deep thought, eh was disturbed by the annoying cry of a child. Julia left his side and ran to Skyla who was wandering around crying.

"What is it, Skyla?" Julia asked in a soft soothing voice.

"Momma... Momma’s not here... Daddy’s gone for work too... Daddy said momma would be here..." the little girl said amidst sobs.

"That b*tch!" Derick stood up fisting his hands.

That woman really left her child and eloped to be with her lover? What kind of woman is she?
