Chapter 96: Chapter 96 - My only Star

Kang did not know what to do. He felt an immense amount of joy rush through his body.. he jumped onto Aaron and hugged him tightly. "are you for real? You’re not pranking me, right? It feels so surreal. We are really free?"

"We are." Aaron’s trembling hands gently held him in a hug. like soothing a young child, he gently caressed his back.

Kang trembled slightly. ’I’m getting turned on by just a hug? this is getting dangerous now. Oh little brother down there, don’t stand up. Aaron will feel it. We are so close.’ he reluctantly pulled himself away from the hug and put some distance between them. "Were you planning this all along?"

’just last night I scolded him about his issue. ah, I feel so stupid. this guy had this plan in his mind all along.....’

"no this was a last-minute plan. I couldn’t bear to see you in tears," he mumbled to himself slightly.

Kang froze. "You thought I cried about being in here?"

Aaron’s face changed slightly. "you weren’t crying because of this? I thought.. I thought you were upset being stuck in here"

"I was upset being in here. But I am not at the stage where I will break down and cry for simply being stuck in a room.."

Aaron’s frowned deeply. "Then why were you crying yesterday?"

"Oh that, I was slightly upset about the way I was feeling. I really didn’t even know I swung that way you knew. It was all such a surprise for me. yesterday night it hit me like a rock that I might be....." he paused. "I was.... nothing.. its just I was feeling overwhelmed that’s all... ."

Aaron did not push him for any more information. "do you want to.. umm.. fly with me? to celebrate our freedom..."

"yeah... no..." Kang looked down at his state. He was uncomfortably hard from just a hug. if Aaron carried him he would definitely just burst. ’I SIMPLY CAN’T LET THAT HAPPEN!!’

"huh! You won’t fly with him?" Altren came up behind him and held his shoulders. "why don’t you? It’s fun? You liked it when I carried you around,"

Kang glared at him intensely. ’you better shut your mouth, you retriever pup. I will scald you if you utter another word.’

Altren gave a devilish grin. "Uncle I bet Kang is just shy. Why don’t you try to carry him? don’t worry, Kang. I will be right here. I’ll make sure my uncle won’t attack you~" he chuckled.

Aaron stepped forward and pulled Aaron’s arms off his shoulders. "if he isn’t comfortable it’s okay. I don’t wish to force him. And don’t touch him so indecently. Two men should not be so close to each other. It’s not normal"

Kang’s eyes widened. ’What’s so indecent about a shoulder hug? Oh, Aaron you have done worse with me. Are you looking down on gays now? You are not so straight yourself. Did you think it was normal when you were rubbing against me in that hotel room? Huh? Huh?’ he mentally berated him. but on the outside, he maintained his calm demur.

Altren glanced his way. "Come on now uncle, you have made him upset. I didn’t even touch his shoulder and you got so jealous enough to leave a bruise." He lowered the sleeve of his button-down shirt to reveal a blue bruise on his wrist.

Kang looked at Aaron. "Were you jealous? Or do you hate men-on-men relationships?"

he felt nervous for no reason. ’what if Aaron really hate gay people. will he hate me.... I don’t like this at all.’

"I’m not a homophobe! I’m fact I support all sexual orientations. I respect them all." Aaron immediately corrected himself.

Kang felt a smile slip through the calm mask on his face. "so you were jealous?"

Aaron looked away clearing his throat. He refused to give him an answer.

Aaron’s ears gave away what he was feeling at that moment. his ears were bright red, unlike his cold expressionless face. " He is blushing... he really was jealous... does he like me? let’s not get ahead of myself. I need to know if this guy really has feelings for me or not....’

"can you take me for a ride around the block?"

"r-ride?!" Aaron looked down at him comically. His eyes were wide open and his blue pupils looked like a startled fawn looking at headlights. "r-ride? As in a bike ride? Or a car ride?"

"Not a bike or a car ride." He stepped close enough to feel his heated breath on his cheeks. "Can I ride you?"

Altren gasped out loud. "Kang! You are so progressive~ Look at you taking the initiative~" he chuckled patting his shoulders.

Zhu Kang enjoyed looking into his flustered eyes. He clearly saw the lust this man held for him. "no.. he will be carrying me around. doesn’t that constitute as a ride? Altren, were you thinking of something naughty again? tsk tsk. I’m an innocent person." He batted his lashes at him.

Aaron snapped out of his dazed state, he kept loudly gulping and clearing his throat. "oh it was that..." he shuffled his foot nervously. "so you want to fly with me?"

"Yeah, let’s go fly around the block."

"o-okay..." Aaron held out his hand again. this time his palm was seen slightly trembling.

Kang held his hand tightly. He felt the young hero’s weird heat on his palm. It was much hotter than before. ’does he get hot when he is embarrassed. If it was anyone else, they would have been scalded by this heat.’

"I.. I would have to hold your waist..." Aaron awkwardly hovered his hand close to his waist.

Kang held his hand and placed it on his hip. "like this?"

Aaron let out a deep breath. It sounded more like a gasp. "y-yes.... I might hold on too tightly. Just let me know if you feel uncomfortable," he pulled him close flush to his body.

Kang looked up at him with a smile. "hmm...."

Aaron lifted off into the air slowly and staidly.

"enjoy your love life~" Altren shouted from below.

"don’t mind him. he has a screw loose in his head," Aaron hurriedly corrected his nephew’s silly behavior.

They silently flew all the way up the clouds.

Little droplets of water splashed in their faces.

Kang let out a soft giggle. "it feels so good to fly,""

"Whenever you want to fly, Just let me know. I can carry you around."

"I’m heavy.... I can ask Altren though," Kang playfully smirked up at him.

"don’t ask him. he might drop you." He pouted subtly. "do you not like me carrying you around?"

"no, I like it~" Kang grinned widely. ’why is this man so cute...’

Aaron felt much warmer and more comfortable than Altren. his contoured body was rubbing all over him. he couldn’t help but let out a smile. ’is this heavy? Am I being escorted by an angel.. I am so lucky.. ah. I get to feel his muscles.’ Unknowingly he placed a hand on muscular pecks and squeezed them.

He heard a small gasp.

Only then did he realize on his mistake, he immediately removed his hand. "sorry..."

"I-its okay..." he let out a small cough. "is it cold? Should I go lower? The temperature is quite low up in the clouds,"

"no this is good," Kang glanced around.

Fluffy mushroom-like clouds surrounded him in all directions. It felt like he was in a cloud garden. He was slightly tempted to jump into them to test how fluffy they were.

’but I’m not suicidal. Who would jump into a cloud.... That would be the silliest death in the world,’ he shook his head with a chuckle. "this place looks so pretty, I wish to just frame it and hang it as a mantel piece,"

"Very pretty," Aaron whispered softly.

Kang looked up at him. Aaron was not looking around. He was pointedly looking at him in a dazed state. "Me or the clouds?"

"you.." he gently cupped his chin. "you are so beautiful..."

Kang’s ego goaded just hearing those words. He slightly smirked and nodded. "so are you,"

"No... you are pretty like a shining star... you shine brightly whenever you smile. You light up the whole room with your mischievous laugh... you are my star,"

Kang froze. "and what are you? Are you the sun?" he leaned closer. "You are definitely hot like one...."

No words were shared after that moment. They just peered into each other’s eyes. Time passed by them, but they didn’t feel it.

They felt connected in each other’s presence.

Soon the sun went down, casting a golden light around them. Aaron looked even more stunning. With the sun glowing on his face.

Zhu Kang moved close to him. he placed a hand on his face and gently caressed his stubble.

"Kang...." Aaron whispered, nuzzling his head against his palm. "Zhu Kang...."

He felt Aaron’s heated breath on his face. He closed his eyes and hugged the man’s shoulders. "am I your only star?" he whispered softly into his ear.

Aaron trembled slightly. his grip on his waist tightened ever so slightly.

After what seemed like an eternity, Aaron spoke.

"you are... you are the only star that adorns my sky. W-would you like to be mine?"

Kang leaned back with a content smile. "I like that."
