"your uncle asked you to reveal your hero identity? But why? What is this petition really about?"

Altren gloatingly grinned. "you’ll know soon." He patted his shoulders with a weird giggle. "just know that you are well loved~"

After saying this, the crazy person happily hummed and danced in the hallway.

the superhero trainees all looked at him with naked lust and awe. Some girls even fainted when Altren smiled their way.

’hmmm..... this world is much weirder than I expected.... People actually like this horse-hung Altren. Wait until they see his peepee. They will defiantly run for the hills.’ He thought as he walked away from the spectacle.

There were crowed of students milling in the hallways. He walked past them to a secluded corner which ended up being the entrance of the academy.

Looking at the familiar gates, he pouted. ’I just want to go out and enjoy the fresh air. Being in here sucks, system, Do you have any props to help me escape?’

Even though he had agreed to become a hero, his heart still held the rebellious thought so escaping this dungeon. He really wanted to go out and feel the fresh air. Lay down on the green grass and glance up at the sky.

"huh! You..." he rushed to a corner. "what the heck are you talking about? Why are you closing down the market place. I have been doing my daily tasks religiously,"

What the hell would I but with that money. This is capitalism! This is cyberbullying! I won’t accept this. Gods are you listening to my plea I am being bullied by this trashy guy!’

"b-bone head?! This crazy fucker. Who is he calling a bone head huh! I will fucking break you bones when I find you system, just you wait! I will find you and I will beat the shit out of you," he growled smashing his fist on the walls.

To his surprise, the wall cracked. He watched as the spider web-like crack spread throughout the wall.

"shit..." he backed away. "I didn’t do that!" he ran away as fast as he could.

His arm was grabbed all of a sudden.

"I swear I didn’t do it. Well, I did it!! but I didn’t do it on purpose. Sorry! I will pay you back," he bowed immediately to the person in front of him.

"what did you do? what happened?" Aaron’s voice came from above.

Kang slowly looked up at the handsome man. he was still dressed in his black suit. His long blond hair was tied up behind his head in a small ponytail. he had a subtle stubble on his chin that elevated his looks.

’he looks so handsome. how can anyone be soo handsome... why want I given such a handsome body... if I had his body I would not have moved away from the mirror. I would have probably become a self-loving narcissist.’

"Kang," Aaron waved his hand in front of his face. "what’s wrong? Are you feeling, okay?" with a worried form he held his shoulders.

Kang instantly felt his whole body stiffen. ’Even his palm is wide and warm and... is this man is a god or an angel....’

"Kang? You’re worrying me. tell me what’s going on?"

Zhu Kang shook his head and snapped out of his thoughts. "ah heard about your petition. I’m sorry. Even Altren had to come out as gay... no, as a hero. It all was all for waste,"

Aaron looked at him confusedly. "who said it was all for naught? The petition was passed."

It was Kang’s turn to be confused. "but. but I saw it in the live feed. the presidents all ran out of the hotel... like their ass was on fire. How.. why..."

"oh that? I kind of threatened them mildly. but that helped me achieve my goal" Aaron gave him an accomplished smirk. "don’t worry I won’t hurt them for now. I just wanted to give them a fair warning."

"Oh..."

They both seemed to be out of words. Kang looked up at him admiring his face while Aaron had an unknown look in his eyes.

Kang watched the man’s burning blue eyes slightly shine with a golden glow. There was a weird golden halo around him. many crazy thoughts arose in his mind.

’Aaron has light ability.... With his blond hair and his handsome face, he really looks like a fallen angel. Only his wings are missing... or is he hiding it inside his clothes,’

He unknowingly peaked behind him searching for a pair of angelic wings.

Aaron glanced back as well. "are you looking for someone?" he weirdly sounded upset.

Kang shook his head. "n-nothing... I was just thinking about something..." he smiled up at him. "Congratulations on getting your petition signed."

"Are you happy, Zhu kang?"

"Am I happy?" he pointed to himself.

"Yes, are you happy?"

Kang smirked and nodded. "I’m happy." inside he was silently giggling. ’yes, I’m happy I found out I am gay and that I get hard for you.... coming out to oneself really feels freeing...’

"I’m happy...." Aaron let out a loud sigh. "You won’t have to cry again...." He said cupping his face gently.

Kang couldn’t hear anything properly with his heart pounding so loudly in his ears,. All he could think about was his hands on his face. his calloused fingertips gently touched the corner of his lips. His rough hands were oddly so gentle with him.

Aaron caressed his face like he was touching a precious treasure. "Zhu Kang you are free."

Kang blinked at him. "huh?"

"you are free..." he let go of his face.

He suddenly felt a sense of loss. he wanted that warmth on his skin again. he wanted Aaron to touch him again. hopefully, he looked up at him.

Aaron smiled and held his hand out. "do you want to fly with me?"

His muddled brain couldn’t comprehend what he was saying. He simply placed a hand on his just so he can feel his warmth again.

Gwyn had once warned him that they were cold-blooded creatures. They were more like reptiles that craved warmth.

And Aaron was like the sun. he exuded that warmth from just his smile and touch.

Kang couldn’t help but move closer to him like a moth to a flame.

he knew he would get burned, but he was more than willing to burn for him.

Aaron gently held his hand and walked to the entrance.

Kang snapped awake. "One night is enough. I think I’m already in trouble from last night’s escapade....."

Aaron shook his head. Without a word, he led him out.

The sudden bright sunlight attacked his sensitive eyes. Kang shielded his face with his hand, looking around in wonder. They were actually out in daylight.

’Aaron is acting odd. Why did he bring me here? ..... wait is this because of last night’s events....is he sending me to prison! Oh no.. I..’

Aaron lifted his sweaty hand to his lips and gently kissed his knuckles. "One night is not enough. from now on you are free to live your life. You can soar in the sky and you can lie under the stars. You are free to shine as you like,"

"Huh? I—I don’t understand what you mean by this... are you setting me free? Why?" Kang looked around cautiously. That particle beam was really pointed their way. At any moment he left Aaron’s side it can fire at him and kill him. ’so this was a final goodbye. Is that why he was is so tender. Boohoo so unfair. I was just way over my head thinking this guy could be interested in me....’

"I’m not setting you free. I’m setting everyone free," he gestured to the door.

So many supers all walked out hesitantly. Some of them did not even come out into the sunlight. They just looked around the facility in awe.

"What’s happening? Aaron, what are you doing? We are allowed to leave now? What is this... what changed"

Aaron stepped close and cupped his face. "do you wish to fly freely?"

"Answer my question. Don’t beat around the bush I feel so nervous standing under that laser beam thingy." He anxiously looked up at the weapon.

"That is disarmed. Nothing is going to attack you, Kang," Aaron frowned. "You read about the petition right?"

"It was not revealed to the public." Kang shook his head.

"ah. It must be online now." Aaron mumbled to himself "today at the leader’s summit, I submitted a petition regarding the freedom of us supers. all these years the government has been controlling us. I wanted to change that. I made sure that we are under our own control. Form today we supers can’t be controlled by the government we are not mandated to stay in the academy. We are allowed to go out and live in the human world even without the license."

Kang just gaped at him. "this.. really?!"

"Yes. Kang, are you happy now?"

"Am I happy? I’m ecstatic!!!"
