Zhu Kang rushed over to his brother. With his trembling hand, he touched his shoulders.

Altren suddenly reacted violently. He hugged his brother’s waist and pulled him into a tight hug. "Why... why did I..." he started to wail loudly.

A blinding white light arose from his chest, soon sparks started to appear.

Kang knew what was happening.

Altren was self-destructing!

Without a moment’s delay, he ran to him and firmly hit his neck.

The electric current around Altren shocked him slightly singing his scales and skin. Gritting his teeth, he slammed the back of his neck again.

After hitting him for many times, Altren finally collapsed.

This gave him an opportunity to pull Gwyn out of his tight grip.

His brother’s limp head laid on his lap. His lips were pale and Blue.

"it can’t be..." he placed a hand below his nose

Gwyn was breathing albeit very slowly.

"he’s alive... he is alive..." he scrambled around searching for the potion

The vail slipped off his sweaty fingers on to the ground. In a panic, he hurriedly caught it before it hit the ground.

Kang bit of the glass cap. "you are going to love brother. You can’t die. I won’t let you. this can save you." he slowly fed the golden liquid down his throat.

Gwyn choked on it slightly and started to cough it out.

"don’t spit it out," he pulled his head up in an angle that would make it easy for him to swallow. "please.. don’t spit it out.... you have to drink it," he gently massaged his throat until he swallowed.

"There...there. you will be alright," he desperately whispered into his ears. "You will be alright, brother."

A sudden warm hand on his shoulders shocked him out of his dazed state.

Kang glanced back.

Aaron was standing there with a shocked look on his face. "Zhu..."

"Aaron.... Aaron my brother. He... can you help him please..." he grabbed onto his legs for comfort.

Aaron knelt beside him and hugged him tightly. "I’ll call a doctor," he gritted his teeth as he massaged his lover’s trembling shoulders.

He had only been gone for an hour and so many things conspired in that gap.

When he found out the location of the snake pit, he flew directly over there. But when he scored that place, he couldn’t find Altren anywhere. But he found something else.

a lot of inappropriate pictures of his lover.

That bastard snakehead leader was holding a lot of Zhu’s photos in his office. So many of them....

He could not look at them.

In fury, he burned down that room and asked others to clean up.

Till then everything was going smoothly.

But things went haywire after he got a report from Haze. Zhu Kang and Gwyn Kang had left the house. Blue was following them. That man’s portal can bring anyone out of danger within just seconds. Kang brothers were safe with him.

he continued hie search for Altren. The sooner they found Altren the faster they can deal with all this mess.

Just ten minutes ago he got an alarming report that a super hero had been found beaten up in an abandoned building. fearing that it might be his lover He rushed over there to find Blue unconscious on the ground with five corpses around him.

The man had fought tooth and nail but even so he was mortally injured.

Zhu Kang sobbingly nodded. "he was about to explode... he almost destroyed the entire world..." he whimpered lifting the heavy person up. "why does he weigh like a pig.." he cried while wiping the tears on his cheeks.

Aaron moved close and with one hand he quickly lifted Altren over his shoulders. He securely held Gwyn with one hand and Altren with another. "Jump on my back. I’ll fly us back,"

Zhu Kang blinked at him. "I can fly," he jumped slightly. nothing happened. he jumped again. once again... nothing. "oh... I can’t use my powers for a while."

"Then jump on," Aaron leaned down carefully. "Quickly, we need to get to the doctor soon,"

"Shit yeah," Zhu Kang cutely jumped on his back and grabbed his neck. "Altren’s head is poking my stomach,"

For a second Aaron contemplated just dropping lateen to the ground. But since his nephew was hurt, he spared him. "Just adjust for a few minutes okay. We will be there in two minutes,"

"Really?"

"Yeah really. Close your eyes and count to fifty."

Sniffling Kang snuggled against the back of his neck. His familiar smell really brought comfort to his wounded heart. "Can that doctor really help Gwyn? I tried the potion... I didn’t know if it worked. his wounds are still there and he is still in a bad condition,"

"That person is not a doctor per se. I know of a person who can heal wounds seamlessly. Gwyn will be saved," he assured him.

As he had promised but the time Zhu Kang finished counting to fifty, they were already on a huge white marble balcony.

It was not a hospital but rather a very posh-looking penthouse in the middle of the city.

Aaron unceremoniously kicked the beautifully decorated glass doors and walked into the house. "Eryst! Eryst!!!"

A familiar Blue-haired lady popped out of nowhere and floated above them. "hi,"

Kang vigilantly looked at her. this was the woman who tried to hurt him during his joining day in the academy.

"Eryst heal him,"

Eryst is the only person who is capable of healing Gwyn. She had the power to actually reverse time. But it also had consequences. For every wound, she heals it takes a year off his life. So she rarely healed anyone.

"I knew you would come back begging me for help. Sadly, I don’t wish to,"

Aaron lowered Gwyn gently onto the white sofa.

"That is a designer piece... now its soaked in blood. I might have to throw that off my balcony..." the beautiful young woman massaged her brow.

"I don’t care," he dropped Altren to the ground. As for his lover, he carefully lifted him down and hugged him. "Save him or you will face consequences,"

Eryst grinned cheerfully. "You are giving me orders now? are you kidding me?" she leisurely sat on a single sofa close by and drank from a flute of wine on the coffee table. "You look desperate Aaron."

"Eryst, it’s not the time to play around. He is dying!"

Eryst simply leaned back and sipped her wine. "Beg, kneel down and beg."

Zhu Kang immediately went down to his knees. "I’m so sorry I was rude to you. please... please help my brother. Save him. I will do anything."

The woman just raised a brow. "I never asked you to. Aaron?" she looked up at him.

Aaron without second thought went to his knees. "Please..."

For a second Eryst’s eyes widened. Soon she regained her calm demeanor. "Fine. since you guys are asking me so kindly. I will do the honor of saving this guy’s ass," she leisurely stood up, climbed over their hunched-up forms, and walked to Gwyn.

Her slender finger gently poked the pole sticking out of Gwyn’s stomach. "He is in a rough shape."

Kang turned to her and kowtowed. "Please save him. please..."

Wordless the woman started to do her work. First, she removed the pole from his body.

Brown blood rushed out staining the white sofa forever red.

Zhu Kang couldn’t watch this. he closed hie eyes tightly and leaned against Aaron. "I wanted to prevent this. I wanted to prevent it at all cost. But.. but he is like this now.. what do I do Aaron? What do I do?"

Aaron simply hugged him close.

Only the sound of small sobs filled the silent house.

"ah," Eryst suddenly exclaimed.

"What is it?" Kang crawled over to his brother’s side and held his limp hands. "is he okay? Has he healed?" his anxious eyes fell on Gwyn’s white stomach.

Eryst looked down at him with an unknown look. "I didn’t do anything. He leaned that wound himself."

"it healed by itself." She went back to her seat and continued to drink her wine. "Now that you guys are done, can you go? Oh Aaron, be a dear and take that sofa along with you. I don’t like the smell of blood. Just toss it out the balcony."

"Check Altren too,"

"That guy is knocked out cold. What can I do for him? just dunk his head in cold water and he will be all good," she sarcastically mumbled.

Zhu Kang thought sat there frozen. "The potion worked.... It worked. Then... the side effects."

The life-saving potion had a big flaw. It can render a person insane.
