"Gwyn! You stupid asshole!!!!" Kang punched the elevator door. It only made this worse. His punches created a huge dent in the elevator door making it scratch the walls of the shaft.

The elevator stopped in the middle.

"Fuck!! Fuck!!!" he lowered Lia down and started to punch his way out of the entrapment.

"Gwyn you better be alive when I get there. Or else... .. I don’t know what I will do without you," his eyes were already fogged up with tears. He hurriedly wiped them on his sleeves and started to tear his way out.

The stupid elevator was stuck halfway up the first floor.

He tore a hole on the top and lifted Lia out first.

"Oh my god it’s a child!" someone exclaimed outside. "Someone is stuck in there too! hello, is everything okay?" a middle-aged lady glanced in worriedly.

Kang crawled out though the small space.

A middle-aged couple was holding Lia in their arms. "Sir we have your son. don’t worry"

"no, he is my ward." He looked at them up and down. They looked like decent people. ’Can I trust Lia with them. I can’t take him with me to battle with Altren.... Shit..’

Seeing the conflict on his face, the middle-aged lady kindly smiled at him. "you’re a super right? don’t worry I will take good care of your child. Go take out the bad guys,"

"Can I get your id card or number? Anything so I can get in touch."

"yes, I’m doctor Finfield. This is my id," the lady gave him an id card. "I’ll treat his wounds."

Kang did not look into it much. "My friend will come to pick him up. When he does, he will tell you the code ’snake den saved’. Do not, I repeat, do not hand him over to anyone that does not know the code. Please... I trust you guys with his life."

The couple looked at each other and nodded. "We will protect your son."

"He is not my son,"

"don’t worry, I’m a doctor. Your son is in good hands."

Kang did not wish to correct them again. He hurried to the stairs and jumped down a floor.

The ground was slightly trembling. From under the closed door of the emergency stairwell, he noticed white sparks flying around.

"System, can I buy anything with my twenty coins? Time freeze or anything?"

Kang pulled out the pink crystals in his pocket and also the life-saving potion. "I just hope your stuff works, man...."

A small hand watch appeared out of thin air and fell into his hands. the dial was cracked and the second’s hand was ticking but not moving anywhere.

"Twenty seconds. I’ve got twenty seconds... let do this!"

He pushed open the door and ran out.

A strong electric shock hit his right arm right as he exited.

The sharp pain stunned him still, but thankfully his scaled arm was able to handle the burn.

Kang dodged the small snake-like electric current snaking on the ground and ran close to the fountain. He looked up at the water with dread. "Use your brains, Kang. can you use this fountain to your benefit?"

His brain was blank.

"why am I so stupid...."

Cursing out loud he hurriedly rushed out from the safety of the fountain.

Just a few steps away he saw his brother fighting with Altren. Their fight was moving closer to the door.

His brother was obviously trying to lure that stupid Altren out.

"self-destructive piece of ass." He shouted running up to him.

For a second Gwyn glanced at him and froze. "What are you..."

"Look to you right!"

Gwyn hurriedly dodged a huge lightning bolt that rushed his way and ran to him. he grabbed his hand in a hurry. "I will distract him. just run."

"I can’t. This is our fight." He stood beside him firmly. He looked into his brother’s green eyes steadily. "Trust me, brother. I have a plan and that does not include Aaron."

Gwyn gritted his teeth loudly and pulled him over to a corner. They both hid behind a huge decorative pillar by the fountain. "What must I do."

Kang handed the pink crystal to Gwyn. "Altren needs to eat this."

"a stone? Is this some kind of weird punishment," he leaned back and let out a huge red blazing ball of flame in Altren’s direction.

Kang looked in horror as the flame did not even hurt the man even a bit. "fuck... yes, the stone is my great plan. That is, if we can approach him."

"I can get close to him." Gwyn said confidently.

"No that is too risky." He held the broken pocket watch in hand. ’System there is no restriction on how many people can use this prop.’ He pointed it out.

Kang gritted his teeth and had the life-saving portion in hand as well. in case their plan fails and Altren managed to mortally wound Gwyn. He can use this potion to revive him. its side effects were annoying.

But the pink crystal can heal that.

"Okay, Gwyn, listen to me. hold my hand and don’t let go," he grabbed his hand and swiftly activated the time stop watch.

The twitching second’s hand started to move.

Everything stopped moving. The world around them froze.

"Whoa... what is this? Zhuzhu, are you doing this,"

"yes, I have no time to explain." He dragged him close to Altren., but as he stepped on the lightning bolts spread out on the ground he got zapped badly. His left leg was singed bit leaving behind a burnt smell.

"Zhuzhu!!!"

"We have to go," he dragged his brother out of the building.

"System, stop the stop timer," Kang called out to the stop watch.

They had used ten seconds now. he had ten more seconds to use. That was his insurance in case something goes wrong.

"How did you do that?"

"Less talking more running," Kang pulled Gwyn over to a corner. In his peripherals, he noticed a sports car. The driver was actually filming them. He rushed to him and grabbed the man’s hand. "We need your car,"

"This cost me a fortune."

"Car or your life. Choose," he growled loudly.

The man trembling cane out of the driver’s seat.

Kang jumped in and pushed Gwyn to the other seat.

"Why a car?" Gwyn sat uncomfortably in the small seat.

The sports car looked so small compared to his brother’s figure. He had to fold his legs uncomfortably in order to fit in.

"He is using lightening. Basic physics bro, cars are lightening shields. At least, we are safe from the lightning bolts that zap from the sky,"

Altren’s power not only controlled electric energy but he could also summon lightening whenever he wanted. staying out in the open was a huge danger. for now, this car was their primary shield from those dangerous lightning bolts.

He rashly drove around.

Through the rear-view mirror, he noticed the white lightening covered figure flying after them.

"Fuck. I don’t think we can ever get close to him."

His plan was a complete flop.

Kang griped the pink crystal in his hand.

Gwyn noticed this. "I said I can get close to him."

"Shut up. brother listen to me. I did my best to explain things to you. this Altren you see is dangerous. You can’t just prance close to him and expect him to fawn over you like the silly person he was. He will kill you! I don’t want you to die! Not on my watch. So shut up and stay still. I will protect you,"

Gwyn suddenly let out a loud laugh. "I have a pull on him. he misses every time he tried to hit me. the Altren I know doesn’t miss.," he confidently smirked. "I’ve got him wrapped on my pinky finger,"

Kang just rolled his eyes. "yeah yeah, but that’s normal Altren,"

"You don’t believe? let me prove you," Gwyn smashed the window open and leaned out, letting half his body hang out. "alt~ come here."

"You stupid brother! Get back in here!"

Kang grabbed his waist band and pulled him in. but Gwyn fought back. He insistently looked at the hero who was flying parallel to them.

"Gwyn! Stop this nonsense! Stop this!"

Gwyn leaned out even more and grabbed a hold of Altren.

A huge white lightning bolt flashed around Altren.

Gwyn hisses loudly. "Stop that alt,"

Instantly, the blinding light went dim. the electric charge went weak.

Kang did not notice this though. he was stuck in a panic. "shit..." with trembling hands he pulled out the broken watch and the potion.

"Altren," Gwyn whispered.

The hero doused in lightning suddenly paused. his blank eyes shone slightly.

"Come close," Gwyn cupped his face. he gently placed the pink crystal on his lip. "Eat this,"

Altren became vigilant. He tried to spit it out.

"be a good boy and eat it," Gwyn grabbed the back of his head and connected their lips. With his tongue, he nudged the rock in.

All of a sudden, a sweet and sour taste filled their connected mouths.

"that’s enough!" Kang gave a firm tug pulling his brother in. "Gwyn, you are grounded for a lifetime! You!.... you I don’t know what I’m going to do to you but it’s going to involve a lot of pain!!!!"

Gwyn cupped his blabbering mouth shut. "I’m fine, aren’t I?"

Zhu Kang froze. his brother looked completely unharmed. Even Altren who was flying after them had disappeared.

"Gwyn!" a coarse voice screamed for them.

Kang glanced at the rearview mirror.

Altren was flying after them with a desperate look in his eyes.

"Shit he is back again."

Gwyn leaned back in his seat licking his lips with a content smirk. "don’t worry he is back to normal."

"Huh?"

"I fed him that rock candy you gave me. It worked I guess," Gwyn shrugged.

"You reckless idiot!!!!!"
