Aaron found out all he needed to know from Ruth, he hurriedly informed Haze as well and informed him to do a worldwide search for this treacherous person.

Haze started to do his work, and along with him a talented team of hackers was hired by the mighty hero academy to search for their lost hero.

Aaron silently returned home. He saw Haze and blue sitting at the dining table working. As for the hacking team, they were from different parts of the world doing their job searching locations close to them.

"Did you find anything?"

"No.... its odd,"

"What is?" Aaron walked close to him.

"This jake is such a mysterious and powerful one. How did he let his identity be exposed to easily? even an entry-level hacker could have figured this out in no time. It feels too good to be true,"

Aaron felt so too. If this jake person as really the spectacular head of the snakehead gang, why would he leave his identity out in the open? it all seemed a bit too suspicious

Either jake wanted them to know about his identity or.... Jake was a decoy.

He tended to believe in the latter. if someone as powerful as the snakehead gang was behind jake he could have easily manipulated people’s minds. and in Altren’s case, he could have used jake to take control of his mind.

Anything seemed possible at this point.

The truth was yet to be known.

Aaron felt a blinding headache in the back of his head. he simply groaned, massaging his head.

"You should sleep." Haze whispered tentatively. "Even a super can’t stay awake for 48 hours. Take some rest. We will let you know if we find anything,"

Aaron did not refute. he moved to his lover’s room and opened the door as silently as he could. The lights were off and the drapes were shut close. He tip-toed close to the bed, to the figure bundled up in the blankest.

"Stop. Stop right there," a low growl was heard in the dark. he could only see a glowing pair of green eyes looking at him.

The pupils were narrowed like a beast ready to charge.

"its me," he added softly.

"go, he is sleeping," Gwyn grumbled hugging Kang close.

"ii am here to see my lover not you," he sat on the corner of the bed and gently touched Kang’s pale feet. His body temperature had gone down and now it was chilling cold. "Why is he so cold!" he hurriedly warmed up the bottom of his foot with his warm palm

His lover’s whole body was ice cold. He was shivering gently.

"is this also the symptoms of rut?"

"hmm, told you, hot and cold flashes. It’s how we are meant to be." Gwyn said, pulling Kang close.

Aaron raised the temperature of the room as hot as he could.

The room’s temperature was high, but the bed was cold as ice.

As he was touched, Kang Aaron accidentally graced Gwyn’s skin. The older Kang brother, too was cold as ice. "Your body temperature is low as well. you are not helping by hugging him. go let me take care of him."

"huh? As if. I have taken care of him for two years. I know how to take care of my dear brother. You go out and leave us be," Gwyn let out a loud growl.

Aaron did not give up, though. He simply laid down next to his lover and pulled him close.

"What are you doing? Are you crazy? Do you want me to kick you out of here,"

"My lover, my house, my bed. I make the rules," he pulled off the stiff arms around his lover and pulled Zhu Kang into his embrace.

Zhu groaned softly. he instantly snuggled deeply into the crook of his neck.

His lover’s cold breath chilled his neck. Aaron subconsciously increased his body temperature.

Zhu Kang wiggled around until he found a comfortable position. by then the blankets on Zhu’s body had rolled down his shoulders.

he pulled it up to his chin.

after what seemed like an eternity, Zhu Kang’s body temperature came back to normal.

for now, he did not wish to talk to Gwyn about his involvement with snakehead. he trusted them. he trusted the Kang brothers and did not need to ask them about their traumatic memories.

to break the cold silence he whispered, "do you know about your powers? I know Zhu is a beast. But what kind?"

Gwyn did not speak.

After a moment of silence, a mumble came from him.

"What? I didn’t get that."

"We are dragons."

Aaron thought back to the records he had read before. There had been only one rare case of twin dragons. They were said to be very powerful and the agency had to imprison them.

"Tell me more." Aaron gently caressed Kang’s soft brown hair. He couldn’t help but drop a kiss on the top of his head.

Kang wiggled around a bit and snuggled tightly into his embrace.

Gwyn looked their way, rolling his eyes. "What more do I need to explain? We are dragons. That’s all,"

"Do all dragons go into rut? What happens during rut? Is it like an animal mating season? Will it hurt Zhu if he doesn’t do... do things during that time?"

"Okay! That’s it!" Gwyn shot up and glared down at him. only his glowing green eyes were seen.

"What?"

Gwyn just stood there for a second. "Fuck..." he scammed out of the dark room and slammed the door shut behind him.

Aaron softly chuckled. "Was that a silent approval, brother-in-law? you gave me your consent, right?"

"Fuck off!" Gwyn shouted from outside. "just you wait I will.....agh!"

He waited for a bit for Gwyn to return but that guy didn’t come back. Aaron settled down with Kang in his arm completely content.

For a day he had been anxiously searching for him. finally, now that he was in his arms he was completely ecstatic and relived. He just wanted to hug him tightly so that their bodies will merge together.

His arms around his slender waist tightened ever so slightly.

Zhu Kang groaned. His butterfly-like lashes fluttered open, rubbing against his neck.

"Zhu.." he leaned back a bit looking at his face.

The room was dark. He couldn’t make out his features but he was still able see his lover’s glowing yellow green eyes. they looked like a reptile with a vertical pupil.

"Aaron? Are you a dream?"

Aaron tenderly touched his face. "I’m here, baby. You are safe."

Kang laid his face on his chest. "a heartbeat.., you are real!" his slender arms tightly wound around his waist. "What took you so long? I was waiting for you. I had a long and bad dream Aaron. Everyone died... I didn’t like it,

When Aaron heard this he felt his chest tighten. He remembered ruth’s words about how his lover had ot been able to sleep.

He tightened his arms around him. "Do you usually have nightmares?"

"hmm..." Zhu Kang mumbled. "Brother will sing for me," he rubbed his face against his chest.

Aaron felt his neither region harden. He simply controlled his urges and hugged his innocent little lover. "Shall I sing for you?"

"hmmm... sing," Kang gently licked his neck.

Aaron gasped out loud.

"Like it?" Kang wiped the saliva off his skin and cast an innocent look at his face.

"y-yes.. I like it." He rolled over, pushing him down. "Zhu... c-can I touch you?"

Zhu Kang hummed and wound his arms around his neck.

Aaron paused for a second. Zhu Kang still looked like he was in a dazed state. Touching him now will be taking advantage of him. but.. he really wanted to kiss him. he really wanted to make a mark on him so that annoying pest can know that he has a lover. He wanted everyone to know that this precious person was his.

He groaned and laid his head on the pillow. "I so want to fuck you." he whispered softly.

Zhu Kang chuckled. "Why aren’t you doing so...."

"Because you are not in the right state of mind. your rut, it’s making you do this. I want to make you mine. I want to make you remember that day forever in your life. So.. I will be patient."

All of a sudden, he felt a pair of legs hugging his waist tightly.

"I’m not patient." Zhu Kang pulled his head down and kissed his lisp ferociously.

for a second Aaron was stunned silly. his heart rate picked up in speed. "Zhu..." he whispered, slightly reserved.

"Why? Do you hate it?" Zhu Kang jutted his hips rubbing against him.

All restraints went out the window. Aaron plunged down, devouring his delicious lips. He kissed and kissed until Zhu was left breathless and panting.

"You can’t go back. you have to remember this moment. You will, right?" he nervously peered down at him.

Zhu Kang nodded with a soft smile. "How can I forget?"

"You said it!" Aaron hurriedly kissed his lips.

But eventually, he slowed down. he wanted their first time to be slow and sensual. He gently kissed down his neck, down to his collarbone. He licked the protruding bone and sucked his milky white skin.

"ah!...."

"Shit did I hurt you?" anxiously he looked up at him.

Zhu Kang chuckled. "haven’t you heard of a moan mister Aaron?"

Aaron kissed his smiling lips. "I’m just worried that’s all,"

Zhu Kang suddenly leaned up and kissed his jaw, licking his way down to his neck. "I feel all tingly when you touch me... it feels good,"

Aaron held the back of his neck, fearing he might strain his neck

Zhu Kang in turn pulled him down and hugged his neck tightly. His breath heated up his ears. "I’m not some delicate porcelain vase. Touch me as you want. I can handle it,"
