The next morning Aaron woke up to a subtle sound of sheets rustling beside him. he opened his tired eyes with a sigh. "Do you want me to kick you out? Stop rolling around," he grunted.

To his surprise, Altren was sitting right up with a stiff back. He was looking straight ahead with a weird look on his face.

He instantly knew something was wrong. Aaron’s consciousness cleared up. he pulled the sheet down and glanced at his nephew. "What is it? are you feeling okay?"

Altren did not reply. In fact, he did not even give him any attention. He felt weirdly like a robot that was being controlled by someone.

He reached out and pinched his arm slightly.

If it were the usual situation Altren would have cried and whined but now he simply just gave him a blank look.

"Looks like you fell for someone’s trap buddy," he mumbled grimly.

Altren stood up and started to walk to the door.

He hurried after him and grabbed his hand.

Instantly a powerful electric shock hit his body. "shit..."

Altren threw off his arm. He kept walking through the hallway down the stairs and out the door.

He silently followed after him. as of now, he did not know what to do. If he let Altren just go, he can easily find who the manipulator is. But if he let his nephew walk to the enemy in such a vulnerable state, he would be at risk.

Gritting his teeth, he made a difficult choice.

He hurriedly rushed behind him and hit him in the back of his neck.

Stunned, Altren glanced back at him. His dull eyes cleared up slightly. "u... uncle.." he mumbled before collapsing to the ground.

"sorry." He grabbed him by the underarm and started to drag him in.

He obviously chose to protect his nephew first. He could easily find the manipulator by different means. Risking Altren’s life did not seem to be worth it.

Aaron dragged the guy in and tossed him on the sofa. "God, you weigh like a pig...." Grumbling, he wiped the fine sweat of his forehead.

"hick.. hick..." a small sound disrupted his whining.

Glancing back, he noticed Kang standing there with a glass of water. "what is up.. hick... with Altren? Why did you just drag him in.. hick..." he hiccupped loudly.

Aron shrugged. "I just felt like it,"

"hmmm... hick..." Kang looked him up and down. "You’re acting weird."

Aaron just grinned sheepishly. "We were just playing around, roughhousing each other. One thing led to another and I kind of hit him in the back of his neck."

he actually didn’t want Kang to panic again. hiding the truth from him was wrong, but he knew that it was for the good.

Frowning Zhu Kang walked up to him. he carefully checked Altren’s neck. "it’s red. why did you have to be rough with him? poor guy, he is going to have lasting neck pain because of you,"

"he can handle it," Aaron pulled him back slightly. "Why aren’t you ready for college?"

Kang raised a brow. "I am getting.. hick.. ready for college." Eyes narrowed; he looked deep into his shifty eyes. "hick....weirdly it seems like you are trying to chase me away,"

"no, no. why would I? I am simply just asking if you were ready so that I can get the car started,"

"hmmmm..." Kang still has that doubtful look on his face as he walked past. "hick..... hick...."

hearing his cute hiccups, he couldn’t help himself. Aaron dragged him back and kissed his beautiful pink lips. For a second Kang froze but after that, he started to kiss him back with equal passion.

panting, he let go of him.

Kang smiled up at him. "Someone is horny so early in the morning~"

Aaron chuckled hugging his slender waist. "well, I did that to stop your hiccup."

His lover’s eyes went wide slightly. He touched his throat. "ah it’s really gone."

"See I knew it would work,"

"Don’t boast about it," putting his arm Kang left to his room.

He watched him up to the first floor and enter his room. As soon as he closed his door, he let out a loud breath. His anxious eyes fell on Altren. "You are in deep shit alt." he hurriedly called Haze and Blue to get here as soon as possible.

By that time, he had dragged Altren back to the room and locked him up in his secret room. It was the most secure place in the whole house. The doors were made of solid titanium and were hard to melt or bend and the walls were made of the same material as well.

Haze and Blue got there as soon as he had called. "Altren again?"

"That manipulator is trying his shots; Altren is not violent. But when I tried to stop him, he shot me with electricity,"

"Must be reflex. Where is he?" Haze excitedly rushed around the room.

He opened the secret room’s door and let them in.

"Aaron, it’s nine. I have classes at nine-thirty," Kang shouted from outside the room.

Aaron froze. "you guys deal with him. I’ll drop my lover and come back,"

Both the superheroes became very curious. "who is he? He lives with you. wow old man you work fast. Can we meet him? please, please, please?" Haze cutely batted his lashes.

"No," Aaron rejected it outright. If Kang met them now, he would definitely find out that something fishy has been going on. "Just deal with him. I’ll be back in half an hour," he hurriedly closed the secret door.

When Zhu Kang walked in everything in there was normal. "Ready? Had your breakfast?"

"yeah..." Kang still looked at him with his eyes narrowed. "What are you hiding from me?"

"Nothing. Come on, we are getting late," he grabbed his wrist and dragged him out of the room.

His cute lover followed after him with a confused look on his face.

’phew, I didn’t get busted...’

Aaron dropped off a skeptical-looking Kang in his college.

Kang gave him a quick kiss. "And the thing you are hiding from me. I hope you will tell me soon. Just don’t keep all the troubles to yourself. Okay?"

He nodded. "Go on. Don’t be late,"

With a bright smile his lover jumped off the car and ran into the campus.

As Zhu Kang’s assigned protector, It was his duty to watch over him but now that Altren was in this situation he had no option but to call in Blue to watch over Zhu Kang.

Blue opened his portal in an inconspicuous alleyway and reached the college gates.

"Take good care of him. see if he eats well. watch that guy Ruth! He is after my lover. If you can make sure to keep them away."

The superhero clad in Blue, just raised a brow. "Are you asking me to protect your lover or babysit him?"

"Protect him... from unwanted male attention," he added softly. "Just don’t let that Ruth close to him. okay?"

"fine,"

Aaron hesitantly looked at his lover’s back worriedly,

"go on I’ll take care of him," Blue patted his back reassuringly.

He was reluctant. But this had to be done. "Send me back home."

"The car?"

"Let it be here, Kang will not doubt that I’m not here,"

He used Blue’s portal to go back to their house in seconds time. Dropping him off, Blue hurried off to protect Zhu Kang.

"How is he?" he opened the secret room.

Haze was holding his nephew’s head with a small frown. "I still can’t crack it,"

"don’t crack it. just track that person."

Haze and Blue are the most versatile and powerful heroes in their academy and because of that they were very much sought after by many forces. Because of this only reason the academy had to make the important decision to form a special task force just for them.

These two alone can take down cities in about ten minutes. That’s how powerful they are.

And even Haze can’t find out who was controlling Altren.

This had him worried sick.

His nephew was silly and annoying at most times but he was not weak. Someone was powerful enough to infiltrate his mind and control his mind.

If that person could control Altren what was the assurance that they wouldn’t do it to other heroes?

It would be catastrophic if that happened.

They had to put a stop to it right this second.

"I got something. It’s a small brain signal... it’s a very complicated range of signals that have been input into his brain. I can try to extrude it.." Haze worriedly whispered. "But that will hurt your nephew..."

"How much?"

"Memory loss? He can even be comatose..."

Aaron frowned deeply. "No! don’t. let’s... wait a bit. We will think of a solution that will not hurt him in any way,"

Haze had a very weird look on his face. "Zain, this manipulator can easily control people. If we don’t find him, he might hurt a lot of people,"

"I know! But I’m not willing to sacrifice my nephew for that... we will find a way," he sternly added and left the room in frustration.
