Knag glanced at the love gel guy who was pitifully trembling. ’what kind of fucking plot is this? Why is he here? Why did he get here? I don’t like this at all...’

He glanced at Aaron. Just a few minutes ago he woke up to the sound of someone talking.

Through his cracked eyes he saw Aaron chatting with someone through the door. And after a few minutes, he even walked out. By then, he had regained his energy. He sat up and followed after him. after all, his boyfriend was heavily wounded. He wanted to check on his wounds.

and what did he see?

He fucking saw Jake touch his Aaron! He was touching his arm!!

Kang subtly moved closer to his lover protectively. "How soon can you find a guard for him? He has college he needs to get back to his studies," he added.

It was just a lie because he did not want Jake close to Aaron at all.

Somehow his instinct was kicking in. It was threatened by Jake’s closeness with Aaron. And there was also the fact that Jake had numerous boyfriends in the past. all of them were buff and had Aaron’s physique.

Aaron was Jake’s type.

So was Altren.

A sense of urgency pushed him to protect the two. One person was his boyfriend and the other was his friend. Especially he didn’t want Jake to be anywhere close to Altren.

Or else the whole world will be burned to kfc.

Aaron placed a warm hand on his back. "I’ve asked Gretchen to ask if anyone was free. They will be assigned to take care of him for now. Butler," he called out.

An old man walked up to them briskly. Noticing Kang’s stare, the old man smiled at him cordially. "I hope you are well, young master? I have also called the doctor he will be here shortly."

"o-oh.. thanks, I guess," he awkwardly moved to Aaron’s side.

He had never been talked to politely by anyone before. It kind of startled him. but it did not bother him though because the old man’s smiling eyes glanced at Aaron and then at him with naked happiness.

"Arrange a car for mister Jake." He glanced at Jake. "Your safety is my priority. Go home and continue to live your life as you do,"

Jake smiled and nodded. "Thank you. Thank you so much,"

Kang felt like the stone in his heart was lifted. Jake was leaving.

All of a sudden, a loud growling sound echoed in the hallway.

Everyone looked at Kang.

"it’s not me. I ate well!" he exclaimed glancing especially at Aaron. "Why is everyone looking at me?!"

Aaron sheepishly grinned. "Sorry I automatically assumed it was you."

"When has my stomach made such an embarrassing sound huh?" he playfully tugged at his sleeve.

"I’m so sorry its me...." Jake shuffled his foot. "I don’t know how long it has been since I was kidnapped. I... I kind of feel hungry,"

Kang frowned. ’What is he playing at? Shit, I don’t want him here another second. But I don’t want to be cruel and send off a hungry person. What will Aaron think of me.’ he pouted. "Prepare food for him. The cuttlefish I caught is still at the pier."

Aaron lovingly held his hand. "I’ll ask the cooks to whip up something,"

"oh.. that’s nice, Jake you heard that? Eat and go home," he emphasizes on the word home.

Jake smiled brightly. "Thank you,"

They all moved to the dining room, which was close to the kitchen and the patio. The room was silent with only the sounds of cutleries clanging as the servants set them on the table.

Kang doubtfully glanced at Jake. There were so many things he did not know about this world. first thing first, he did not know when Jake and Aaron started to have a relationship. At what point did they have a sexual relationship? He was unsure.

secondly, there was the fact that Jake was recently kidnapped. People don’t just kidnap for no reason. Especially in this world. Only supers are targeted for kidnapping. Normal people are kind of ignored.

maybe Jake had powers but it has still not been awakened. Who would want to kidnap a normal human like Jake?

’Unless he got involved with dangerous people....’

"What happened? How did you get kidnapped?" he pried him a bit as he ate the garlic bread the chef placed in front of him.

He had a heavy lunch and was not hungry. He just needed something to chew.

Jake, on the other hand, devoured the garlic bread with gusto. With his mouth filled with bread, he glanced up at him. "dunno,"

"You don’t know? Think about it. Did you offend anyone? Did anyone specifically cast their eyes at you? old boyfriend? New boyfriend?"

Jake blushed subtly casting a look at Aaron.

Kang gaped. ’Where is he looking, ah! Why is he looking at Aaron when I said boyfriend? Shit.. fuck I am getting pissed.’ A small growl escaped his mouth.

Aaron held his hand under the table. "Answer the question. Do you have anyone you have offended?"

Jake swallowed the bread with difficulty. "I had a few boyfriends. But they did not have any significant background... maybe.. it was him.. no I don’t think it was him,"

"Who?" Kang leaned forward and propped his arm on the table. "Who do you think it was?"

"a guy. He recently met up with me and asked me a few questions. I don’t know what he wanted... he kept talking about something I couldn’t understand. My friends noticed his weirdness and came close. That guy rushed away after," he said with a thoughtful look.

Kang nodded. "I will investigate who it was. We will get to the bottom of this,"

He really wanted to know who hurt Jake in the actual storyline. Kang also had afraid that Jake’s demise might actually end as per it was predestined to.

He did not want that.

’I just got a boyfriend for god’s sake. We haven’t even gotten to second base! No, I don’t want the world to end! I will make sure to protect this stupid Jake and I will do the deed with Aaron,’;

"Yes, let’s do this," With renewed determination, he chomped the bread stick.

"Eat slowly," Aaron handed him a cup of cool orange juice.

"Thanks," he gulped it down. "How did he look like?"

"he was tall.. he was wearing a black hood and had tied a bandana over his mouth. I only saw his eyes."

"Eye color?"

"Green... it also looked yellow,"

Kang frowned. "Anything else? Did you remember the direction he went after?"

"It was a crowd at the gate. He just left,"

He sat back down. As of now, they had no clue who this mysterious person was. But that person could be the reason Jake was kidnapped.

He glanced at Aaron. "Is it possible to check the CCTV around there?"

"I’ll get it done,"

Soon in the evening, early dinner was served. But he did not spot the cuttlefish he had caught anywhere on the table.

"Where are the cuttlefishes? Were they rotten already?" he frowned disappointingly.

Aaron cleared his throat. "They are only for us." He said softly, close to his ear.

Kang blushed deeply. "Oh..."

Jake was looking at them whispering to each other with an unknown look on his face.

"What are you dazing about? eat well. you need your energy," he urged him.

Jake continued to eat the bread and chicken curry the chef had whipped up. he ate at last five drumsticks and burped out loud.

"Looks like you are full. Let’s send you home now. People would have been worried about you," he hurried them along.

Jake cast a subtle look at Aaron.

Kang caught it. He stood in front of his lover. "Ah I think you need to get your eyes checked at the doctor too. one lazy eye seems to be roaming somewhere it shouldn’t,"

Jake pouted. "I don’t have a lazy eye Kong,"

"oh, I think something is wrong with your tongue as well."

"w-what?"

Kang stepped closer. "My name is Zhu Kang. Not Kong. I guess Monkeys can only think of monkeys what can I do about it." He stepped back to feast upon Jake’s gawking mouth. "Wow something is totally wrong with your head. Aaron, instruct the car to lead him to the hospital first. His head injury left him slightly brainless,"

Aaron snorted silently holding back his laughter. "Yeah. I’ll do that," he pulled Kang back and hugged him from behind.

Jake looked at them again with that same unknown look.

"The car is here. Get going," Aaron coldly whispered and pulled Kang back into the house.

"Wait a bit," Kang pulled away and rushed to him. "don’t roam anywhere you shouldn’t. Stay in college okay. I don’t want you dying on my watch."

Jake smiled up at him. "I knew you cared about me, Kong."

Zhu Kang’s eyelids twitched. ’Even now that bastard is still calling me Kong.’ He watched Jake get into the car.

Aaron suddenly hugged him from behind. "My, my, Zhu Kang so you know how to be jealous. I’m not the vinegar pot here. you are,"
