Aaron checked Kang’s neck once again. The gills had disappeared by the time he had brought him back to shore; he was breathing well through his nose. that was all that was important as now.

"s-sir.... We don’t have any other ships nearby. That person.. he looks like he is drowning. Please let us take care of mister Kang." One of the servants who had worked in his family for a very long time suggested.

Aaron frowned deeply. he was reluctant to leave kang when he was in such a vulnerable state but... that person at sea will probably die if he does not get there in time.

"Sir! He is no longer visible sir...." The servant exclaimed panickily.

He gently carried Kang over to the huge sofa near the hallway. He made sure that Kang was completely alright before he rushed out. As he was flying out, he made sure to mask his face with that bright glow so that no one will be able to guess his face.

He swiftly flew to that spot. only that floatie was floating around. That person was not visible at all. He plunged deep into the ocean and swam around. finding that person was not that difficult. That young man was floating around. he did not seem to be breathing as well.

He hurriedly dragged him up and since he had lost consciousness, he didn’t even bother to mask his powers. He directly flew over to the resort. "Take care of him," he dropped him off to his servants and rushed to the sofa.

Kang was lying there still.

panicked he hurriedly touched his nose. he was breathing for sure but he did not make much movement. He was so still when he was sleeping. It gave him great fright.

Aaron let out a deep breath and pulled Kang onto his lap. His servants had already brought over towels to dry themselves off. He made sure to tie a towel on Kang’s dripping wet hair and lifted him up to his old room.

Kang’s clothes were of course, wet. He had to change it. the servants came about to give assistance but he sent them all off. He didn’t want anyone else to see his lover’s body. Kang belonged only to him. no one else had the right to look at him without clothes on.

Changing clothes was the easy part. In just ten minutes Kang was in a fresh pair of silk pajamas he had elusively brought for his lover. They fit him beautifully.

Tenderly he carried him to the bed and laid him down. With a blow-dried he started to dry off his hair. As he was doing, he kept a watch on Kang’s neck. The gills had disappeared without a mark. They just disappeared.

’What kind of creature is he... he can breathe fire, create acid and breath underwater... fish? No.. not a fish.. something else..’

After he made sure Kang was all tucked into the sheets, he went over to his parent’s library. it still existed as the resort was still in the demodulation state. His parents were both supers and had an extensive collection of books that dealt with super rare powers. He might be able to find info about Kang’s situation if he searched through that pile.

he made a beeline to his parent’s room that he rarely visited. And behind a subtle painting was the door to the library. He entered there and started to sort through a lot of books. There was at least ten books that records all the rare powers. he collected them all and came out of there to accompany Kang in his bedroom.

Kang slept so peacefully like a baby.

Aaron sat beside him and paged through the old text. It was all handwritten. At some parts he couldn’t discern the handwriting. He kept flipping pages until he saw something. It was a painting of twin dragons. The majestic faces of the dragons were painted as they were jumping out of water.

"Water dragons.... Said to be a myth but a pair of twins were born with powers similar to that. their breath spat out fire, their anger spat out acid... they were able to bodily transform into a dragon in the peak of their powers," he read out loud.

His frowning eyes glanced at his lover. ’is Kang a dragon? Is that even possible?’

Suddenly something came to his mind. Kang had mentioned that his brother and him were twins. He did not look into it assuming that Gwyn was just an adopted brother. Gwyn looks nothing like Kang. Now he doubted it.

’What if Gwyn was a dragon too? what if they were like the twins with dragon powers? They can shift. They would be the first ever shifters in this century....’ He massaged his brows.

A subtle sound of footsteps close to his door brought him out fo his thoughts.

His servants know not to disturb him when he was in his room. This person... he must be new.

he walked over to the door with a deep frown. "I do not like being disturbed if you are going to prance around you better be warned I will not spare you if you wake him up,"

"I.. I only want to thank you," a soft voice came from outside.

Aaron frowned. He opened the door subtly and glanced out.

It was a young man he had saved from the ocean. There was a big gash on his forehead that was bleeding still. "Thank you so much," he said with a soft smile.

"it’s nothing. Get the others to send you home."

"Wait a bit," he held the door open and opened up at him with weird sparkling eyes.

the young man was obnoxiously loud. Aaron glanced back to see Kang groaning. "let’s talk outside," he pushed him out. he did not even care that his identity was revealed to this young man. All he wanted for his lover to have a safe and peaceful sleep.

The young man blinked up at him whilst twiddling with his thumb.

"What do you want to say?"

"You are wounded!" he gasped and held his arm.

Aaron pulled away with a deep frown. "don’t bother,"

"it’s bleeding all over! How can I not care?" he tried to put pressure on the wound.

Aaron was completely disgusted by his action. He grabbed his hand tightly.

Right then the sound of doors opening came to his right. He glanced to his side to notice Kang standing by the door with a small frown. He suddenly charged at him and pulled the young man’s hands out of his grip.

"What are you doing here Jake?" Kang said in a threatening voice.

Aaron looked between them. This young man did looks familiar. Now that he knew his name hw as certain who this guy was. It was one of Kang’s roommates. The promiscuous one. His repoet said that he had almost five boyfriends. at first Aaron was vigilant to have him as Kang’s roommate as his lover was so pretty.

Then later he found out that this young man named Jake only preferred buff tall men. Kang was not his type.

"Kong... oh my god." The young man suddenly threw himself into Kang’s arms and hugged him tightly.

Aaron’s eyes narrow dangerously. He pulled the man away and flung him to the side. "talk, don’t touch,"

"I..... Kong... I didn’t mean to.. I was glad to see a familiar face that’s all." The man pitifully looked at his feet.

Zhu Kang frowned even deeply/ his narrowed eyes focused on him. "What is he doing here?"

"He was being kidnapped by the guys in that ship. He escaped the blast and I found him floating in the ocean," he spat out the truth without hiding anything.

Only after hearing that did Kang calm down. He moved a bit close like he was trying to protect him from Jake. "oh. Jake now that you are safe go home. I’ll inform the police about what happened. They will investigate for you."

The young man nodded. "its... I... I don’t feel safe anymore." He said, slightly sniffling.

Kang pouted and glanced at Aaron. "Do you know of anyone who can guard him."

"I thought I can stay here for a bit," Jake added casting a hopeful eye at Aaron.

Aaron completely ignored him/ he pulled Kang closer. "don’t worry, I have just the right person to look after him,"

’Who?’

"My useless nephew,"

"no!!" Kang shouted loudly. "a-anyone but him. not him definitely. Don’t get him involved,"

Jake let out a soft sob. "I... I can go home. You don’t have to fight for me. thank you so much Kong for being there for me. and sir... I.. I am so happy that you saved my life. I want to repay it soon..." he whispered bowing deep.

This time Aaron frowned deeply. "Wait I will ask someone to take care of you,"

Kang cast him a betrayed look.

He hugged his lover tightly and leaned close to his ears. "I am a hero darling. I can’t be mean to a pitiful guy like him,"

Disgruntled, Kang nodded.
