Half an hour later, Long Chen arrived at the hotel and knocked on the door to Hu Qingqing’s room.

Hu Qingqing, excitedly, ran over to open the door and let Long Chen in.

"You finally made it, I was almost falling asleep."

Hu Qingqing said.

"I walked over here, looking around and enjoying the beauty of the night," Long Chen replied with a smile.

"The beauty of the night is never outside, you know."

Hu Qingqing said flirtatiously, batting her eyelashes.

"Then where might it be?" Long Chen played along.

After sitting down, Long Chen smiled and said, "A warm bed and a beauty to become drunk within her embrace?"

"Just control yourself, go take a bath,"

Hu Qingqing instructed. "Afterward, you can sleep on the sofa."

"Well then, I shall follow your lead," Long Chen said with a smile.

Hu Qingqing watched as Long Chen went into the bathroom, then she hurriedly got up, fanning herself incessantly.

For some reason, she felt an intense heat.

"I must be crazy,"

Hu Qingqing muttered to herself.

Then, biting her lip, Hu Qingqing reasoned that tonight might be her last chance.

After tonight, it would be very difficult to have Long Chen come out again, and even more so to a hotel room.

After much consideration, Hu Qingqing decided to make a final stand.

In the bathroom, Long Chen took a cold shower.

In the heart of winter, taking a cold shower was something most people would dare not attempt.

"Why did I suddenly fall asleep?"

"Hey, where did you go?"

The female doctor continued to busy herself wit

h her computer.

Long Chen called Li Yuexin, asking her to find a way to obtain the samples with follicles and to bring them to the hospital.

Li Yuexin laughed bitterly; there had been many opportunities the previous night, but it was going to be difficult today, especially needing them with follicles.

However, Li Yuexin didn’t refuse and chose to continue helping Long Chen.

After ending the call, Long Chen patiently waited.

He looked at the female doctor and suggested, "How about I treat you to dinner later, as thanks?"

"Uh, you’re not trying to hit on me, are you?"

The doctor joked.

"I wouldn’t go that far; I don’t even know what you look like," Long Chen replied with a chuckle.

"Do you want to see? I’m quite pretty, like a fairy, oh no, I should say, prettier than a fairy," the female doctor said with a laugh.

"Doctor Xia, do you do this often?" Long Chen asked with a smile.

"Not really, it’s just that you’re quite handsome, and I don’t mind letting a good-looking guy see my fairy-like beauty."

With that, she slowly removed her mask.

It was an extremely perfect oval face, naturally radiant and beautiful without a hint of makeup.

"Indeed quite pretty," Long Chen complimented.

Pretty as she was, the beauty-immune Long Chen, who had seen too many beautiful women, maintained his composure.
