Chapter 96: Chapter 96 Rescue (4)_1

"Wait." Before Situ Haoran could turn to leave, Situ Xin called out. "Uncle, I am coming with you."

"Xiao Xin, no, this isn’t a game," Situ Haoran scolded loudly.

"I know it’s not a game. Uncle, this time, only I can rescue my dad and Uncle Xiao," Situ Xin said in a calm voice. The thought of her relatives’ safety made her feel that revealing her secret was worth the risk.

"You?" Situ Haoran asked in disbelief. "Baby, you?" Old Master Loo also gazed at Situ Xin with a puzzled look.

"Yes, me," Situ Xin took a deep breath and continued: "Because of my exceptional talent, I have learned about seventy to eighty percent of my master’s capabilities over the years. So, I am capable of rescuing my dad and Uncle Xiao."

"No way, even if you have the ability, we can’t let you take this risk. I believe your dad wouldn’t want to see you endanger yourself to save him." Unexpectedly, before Old Master Situ and the others could object, it was Situ Haoran who immediately stood against the idea.

"Sigh, Uncle, I won’t be in danger, I should say, no one can threaten my life," Situ Xin said, seeing Situ Haoran still looked unconvinced, she directly played her ace card: "Uncle, if you don’t let me go with you, I will follow right behind you the moment you leave. It could be even more dangerous then."

"You." If Situ Xin hadn’t been a girl, and moreover, his most cherished niece, he would have really given her a piece of his mind.

"Alright. Haoran, take Baby with you," Old Master Situ said looking at Situ Xin’s stubborn face, knowing full well she would actually go by herself if they didn’t agree.

"Dad, even if I agree. But you know, this is the military, this is a mission, I can’t bring a child with me. It’s against military discipline," Situ Haoran said helplessly.

"Don’t worry about that, Uncle, I have my ways," Situ Xin said, having already thought this issue through and even tested it. Whenever she flashed into her space, as long as she secretly held onto someone’s clothing, she could follow them wherever they went. This was a discovery Situ Xin made after her recent advancement.

"Alright, as long as you can avoid being detected, you can follow me," Situ Haoran honestly didn’t believe Situ Xin had such an ability; he was also hoping to use this opportunity to dissuade her.

"Commander, it’s time to gather for departure." Before they could further advise Situ Haoran, they were notified it was time to leave.

"Why so soon," Old Master Xiao muttered. "Haoran, I won’t say much. Remember, no matter what, ensure your own safety, got it?" Old Master Situ’s eyes had a faint gleam while he spoke.

"Yes, Haoran, safety is the utmost priority, do you understand? We are waiting for you to come back safely," Old Master Loo’s voice trembled as he spoke.

"I don’t expect you to bring back Haotian and Guobing, Uncle Xiao, just come back safe," Old Master Xiao said before turning his face away, feeling sorrowful in his heart for his only son, Xiao Guobing.

"Dad, Uncle Loo, Uncle Xiao." The usually stoic Situ Haoran could no longer hold back the tears welling up in his eyes. He hardly dared to speak more, fearing his voice would break.

"Grandpa, Grandfather Loo, Grandpa Xiao, don’t worry, I will definitely bring back my dad, Uncle Xiao, and Uncle, safe and sound," Situ Xin said, currently in her Heartbeat Phase, which meant her emotions were running high. Usually, she wouldn’t cry, but at that moment, she couldn’t help but let the tears flow.

Old Master Xiao and the others had long forgotten about Situ Xin joining them on this mission. Moreover, they didn’t really believe Situ Xin could go along; they knew the military’s rules were strict, and even with their permission, Situ Xin couldn’t board the plane.

Seeing their reactions, Situ Xin knew they hadn’t taken her words to heart. She released her Divine Sense to check her surroundings and found that the nearest area was a dead spot for surveillance and not frequently trafficked.

"Grandpa, Grandfather Loo, Grandpa Xiao, and Uncle, please come with me for a moment," Situ Xin said, grabbing the corner of Situ Haoran’s clothing and pulling them all to that spot.

"Baby, if there’s something you need to say, say it quickly; your Uncle is about to leave," Old Master Situ said, looking down and sounding somewhat subdued.

"Well, gentlemen, what I am about to tell you might startle you or seem unbelievable. I’ve learned a unique Cultivation Technique from my master. I can use it to turn invisible," Xu Yuwei said, watching everyone’s reactions carefully. She had intended to tell them about her space but thought better of it. She felt that too many people knowing about her space wouldn’t be good, so she made up this lie instead.

"Baby, did you say you can turn invisible?" Old Master Loo asked in disbelief.

"Theoretically, yes, though it’s not exactly invisibility. I just use my master’s unique Cultivation Technique to make myself unseeable to others," Situ Xin explained. Even after her explanation, they still seemed skeptical. "Never mind, I’ll just show you," she finished and with a thought, she entered her space. Her cultivation level had increased, altering her space, allowing her to hear what was happening outside as long as she concentrated.

"Baby, Baby really disappeared?" Old Master Situ exclaimed after witnessing Situ Xin vanish before his eyes. Although he was prepared, the sight still took him by surprise. Old Master Loo couldn’t help but reach out to touch where Situ Xin had just been standing.

Old Master Xiao and Situ Haoran, though silent, widened their eyes in astonishment.

Feeling that it was enough, Situ Xin flashed out of her space. "How about that, do you believe me now?"

Seeing Situ Xin physically there before them, Old Master Xiao and the others said nothing but nodded their heads.

Situ Xin didn’t have much time to worry about what they thought. Before departure, she still had matters to discuss with her uncle. Once at the destination, she couldn’t make an appearance in front of everyone, and if her guess was right, the orders from above would mean every second counted in the rescue.
