When she thought about the way her grandfather had looked at her strangely when she returned home yesterday, Situ Xin experienced a sudden sense of clarity.

"That’s impossible. I can’t do that. Baby is the apple of my eye; how could I possibly stay away from her?" Xiao Muli flatly rejected Situ Jin’s suggestion to keep his distance from Situ Xin.

Yu Qihao, watching Xiao Muli argue with Situ Jin over Situ Xin until they were both red in the face, felt a surge of envy for Xiao Muli. He envied Xiao Muli’s courage to fight for the one he loved, while he himself didn’t even have a bit of courage to fight for his own happiness.
