Having realized his error, Xiang Yang was about to admit his mistake immediately, but before he could get the words out, Situ Xin interrupted him. "I won’t pursue this oversight. However, I want one hundred percent certain news before tonight," she said.

"Yes, Leader. I understand," Xiang Yang replied, almost as if he were standing to attention and saluting on the other end of the phone.

"When will Mu Li and the others arrive in BL? Remember to contact me once you get to BL," Situ Xin said, her voice returning to normal after she noticed Xiang Yang’s acknowledgement of his mistake.

"By the time in BL, Mu Li and his team should arrive tomorrow morning. I’ll convey your instructions to them when I contact them," Xiang Yang said.

"Alright, then call me when you have the confirmed information. I’ll hang up now," Situ Xin said.

Xiao Muli knew about Situ Xin’s role as the leader of The Dark Division. But since he had never dealt with The Dark Division, he knew nothing about its internal affairs.

All the words Situ Xin had spoken on the phone with Xiang Yang were heard by Xiao Muli. He was driving and stealthily glanced at Situ Xin from the corner of his eye. Seeing how she was not guarded against him at all, he felt joy bloom in his heart, and his facial expression softened considerably.

"Huh?" Xiao Muli had been so absorbed in his own thoughts that he hadn’t noticed Situ Xin end her call. Her question pulled him back to reality. "Isn’t it because your fashion debut was such a success? I’m happy for you," Xiao Muli found an excuse.

"Just for that? I don’t feel anything special, just a sense of relief that I’ve completed a task," Situ Xin replied. Unlike other designers who lived for fashion design, Situ Xin saw it merely as work, something to entertain herself with in her spare time. So apart from a touch of pride at the beginning when her designs surprised the entire audience, she hadn’t felt much else.

Seeing that Situ Xin wasn’t much interested in her debut fashion show, Xiao Muli didn’t pursue the topic and said, "Xiao Xin, I have some influence in BL and Country W. If you ever need help with anything, just say the word. I’ll do my utmost to help you."

Situ Xin wasn’t surprised by Xiao Muli’s words. Just now, she had purposely not avoided him and had even taken the call in front of him. This was an indirect way of telling Xiao Muli that she truly held him in regard.

"Don’t worry. I won’t hold back on asking for your help when I’m in trouble. Just make sure you don’t frown when that time comes," Situ Xin said, smiling and leaning closer to Xiao Muli.

"Rest assured, even if I have to frown, I’ll find a way to help you," Xiao Muli didn’t mention that he was willing to sacrifice everything he had without a second thought if needed. He had worked these past years to become the man capable of standing beside Situ Xin, accompanying her throughout life.

Seeing Xiao Muli’s earnest and serious expression, Situ Xin felt a wave of warmth and was moved. "Muli, thank you," she said softly, her hands resting on Xiao Muli’s arm.

Xiao Muli turned to look at her and said, "Silly girl, there’s no need to thank me. I’m more than willing to do things for you."

"Situ Xin, you brat, come here. Let’s see how I deal with you today. To think you dared to slip away from such a mess today, leaving me to clean up your disaster," Lu Juan burst out as soon as she entered the hotel lobby after being busied without a moment’s rest since the fashion show ended.
