"Ah." Murong Wanyu was startled, looked up, and realized that all eyes in the classroom were on her. The teacher, looking furious, said, "This student, please stand up and answer this problem."

Murong Wanyu could only stand up slowly, looking at the calculus problem on the blackboard with complete confusion. Just as she was about to say, "Teacher, I can’t solve it," Murong Wanyu noticed a small piece of paper that had suddenly appeared on her desk, densely packed with the method for solving the problem.

At that moment, Murong Wanyu couldn’t care about anything else, directly recited the content from the small paper, and answered the teacher’s question.

"Good, remember this, and don’t daydream during class anymore." The teacher let Murong Wanyu off the hook, and with a sigh of relief, she sat down and turned her head toward the direction from which she’d received the note, to her right.

It was actually from a very clean and handsome boy. And this boy looked exactly like the type of guy Murong Wanyu had a crush on. Her face flushed red in an instant, and she turned her head back to focus on the blackboard.

Throughout that class, Murong Wanyu seriously stared at the blackboard, but her thoughts were somewhere else. Finally, when the bell rang, Murong Wanyu packed her books and turned to the boy, saying, "Thank you for your help during class. Also, my name is Murong Wanyu, may I ask what your name is?"

If Situ Xin had been there, she certainly would have applauded Murong Wanyu’s brave action.

"He Chengyi. What I did during the class was merely a helping hand, but next time, try not to space out during class, and if you do, at least don’t get caught by the teacher." He Chengyi hadn’t expected Murong Wanyu to speak to him, let alone thank him.

During the class, his action was just a spontaneous one. And he had no idea that this one gesture had secretly won a girl’s affection for him.

After bidding farewell to Tian Jinlei and the others, Situ Xin walked towards the school gate with her bag over her shoulder and Baibai in her arms. Along the way, Baibai said, "Master, that guy was trying to hit on you just now."

The tone of schadenfreude in Baibai’s voice made Situ Xin quite annoyed. "Baibai, watch your language. What’s all this about hitting on? Where did you learn such a thing?"

Hearing his master’s threatening tone, Baibai inwardly cursed his luck for getting too carried away. "Master, I misspoke. The guy was just interested in you, he liked you."

But no matter how Baibai tried to make amends, it was too late. Situ Xin reached out to Baibai’s tiger ears, one hand pulling on each. "Hmph, that’s for revelling in my misfortune. That’s for constantly thinking about making fun of me, your master."

"Master, I won’t dare again," Baibai begged for forgiveness, but inside thought, "Hmph, the master only knows how to bully the weak, only knows how to bully Baibai."

As these two were playfully caught up in their antics, the Hummer at the school entrance, which had already closed its doors, started, and was about to leave, suddenly turned off again.

"Young Master Lan, what happened?" Fu Xiaoyi, sitting in the passenger seat, asked, looking perplexedly at Lan Junxi’s actions.

However, Lan Junxi didn’t answer Fu Xiaoyi’s question and didn’t pay any attention to her at all. Instead, he simply opened the car door and got out. Seeing his actions, Fu Xiaoyi also got out of the car. She stood by the car door, watching Lan Junxi walk toward the school gate.

"Oh, you might not know me. I’m a friend of your brothers Situ Che and Loo Jie. I went to Country Y with my parents during high school and only came back recently," Lan Junxi explained, then remembered he hadn’t introduced himself yet. "Oh, my name is Lan Junxi. My mom is from Country H, and my dad is from Country Y."

"Oh, you’re from the Lan Family then." Situ Xin had heard about Lan Junxi from Situ Che and Loo Jie before. "I’ve heard my brothers mention you. But what brings you here?"

Situ Xin was quite puzzled by Lan Junxi’s appearance at the gate of Capital City University.

"Oh, I have a gathering later, so I’m here to pick up my date," said Lan Junxi, pointing at the Hummer behind him and the person standing by the car door to Situ Xin.
