With no other options, Situ Xin grabbed her backpack, hugged Baibai, and resignedly settled into the car.

However, Situ Xin forgot that Baibai herself had cheekily insisted on coming along, so it was unlikely that Baibai would share her perspective on the issue. Such a display made the new students and parents revealing curious expressions.

Situ Xin could pretty much guess what everyone was whispering about. It was nothing more than: "I wonder which high-ranking official is visiting the school today, to have our university leaders here to greet them at the entrance."

"Grandpa, Grandfather, don’t tell me that all this is for welcoming you two," Situ Xin asked through the car window, pointing at the banners and streamers outside.

"Eh, it should be," Old Master Situ remembered receiving a call from Principal Jin of Capital City University the previous night, inquiring whether his granddaughter would be registering the next day. While replying, Old Master Situ casually mentioned that he and Old Master Loo would accompany their precious granddaughter to register at the university.

Little did Old Master Situ realize that his offhand comment would lead to today’s situation.

"Let’s get out of the car. It’s not polite to have people waiting for us at the entrance," Old Master Loo noted Situ Xin’s reluctance to make such a high-profile appearance and her hesitance to step out of the car in front of everyone.

But Old Master Loo didn’t share that sentiment; he didn’t think hiding Situ Xin’s identity as the young lady of both the Situ and Loo Families was a good thing. Especially in a top university like Capital City University, many students behind the scenes had their own powerful connections.

Old Master Loo’s reasoning was simple: he feared that if Situ Xin didn’t reveal her background, she might be bullied by her classmates or even teachers, which neither of their families wanted to see happen.

However, Old Master Loo had forgotten that his precious granddaughter was not like the others; with her skills, no one could bully her. This was perhaps a case of Old Master Loo’s concern clouding his judgment.

As Old Master Loo spoke, he was the first to open the car door and step out. Once Situ Xin was alone in the car, she grudgingly got out with Baibai in her arms.

"The two senior leaders. Welcome, a warm welcome indeed. Your visit to Capital City University is a great honor for us," a middle-aged man came forward earnestly, taking Old Master Situ’s hand with an excited expression.

"Senior leaders, welcome to Capital City University for your visit and guidance," the rest of the university officials followed with warm smiles, greeting the Old Masters.

"Xiao Jin, today we two old fellows are not any leaders; we are merely escorting our Baby to register," said Old Master Loo, who then turned and called Situ Xin who was standing behind him, "Baby, come here, meet your principal and teachers for the next four years.

Though Situ Xin was reluctant at first after coming off the car, she soon adopted a docile smile and obediently moved to Old Master Loo’s side, greeting the officials, "Principal Jin, leaders, teachers, hello,"

"Don’t call me principal, just call me ’uncle’," Principal Jin said to Situ Xin, his demeanor and expression radiating kindness—a stark contrast to his usual serious facade that could reprimand people without a second thought.

While these university officials weren’t high-ranking, they knew what they needed to for their day-to-day work. They were cautious of offending any important ’princes’ or ’princesses,’ as doing so could ruin their entire career.

Therefore, the university officials were exceptionally clear on the background of the major families in Capital City. They had heard a lot about the little princesses of the Situ and Loo Families but had never seen her at public events and nobody had pictures of her.

This could be a preview of the environment I’ll be studying in for the next four years," Situ Xin suggested, winking at Old Master Xiao and Old Master Loo, then continued, "As for the registration, Mom and I can handle it."
