Chapter 119: Chapter 119: Space Upgraded Again (3)_1

And it was precisely because after advancing to Spiritual Silence, the Spiritual Energy within had surged significantly that "Phoenix Nest" was able to absorb the Spiritual Power needed for two advancements from Situ Xin’s body without affecting her in the slightest.

Situ Xin hadn’t expected this to be the reason. "According to what’s written on the Jade Token, does that mean the space has been upgraded by two levels all at once?" Thinking of this, she felt a wave of excitement; she was now very eager to see what her space had evolved into.

As soon as she teleported into the space, she immediately noticed the changes. "My goodness, an entire mountain has actually appeared." Situ Xin stared at the towering mountain in the distance and exclaimed in surprise.

From afar, the mountain seemed to connect with the heavens because everything above the middle was shrouded in layers of white mist. Just looking at the mountain gave Situ Xin the impression that it was a hideaway for immortals.

Situ Xin didn’t rush to teleport to the mountain to investigate; she remembered that the Jade Token mentioned the space had advanced by two levels. The mountain accounted for one level, and she needed to see what else had changed.

However, after searching around the space for a while, besides noticing that the space had expanded, the land had more than doubled in size, and the Spiritual Spring, hot springs, and ponds had all grown significantly. Though she was aware of these changes, they seemed to be ancillary benefits of the space’s upgrade.

But after surveying the entire space, she didn’t notice any other changes. "The Jade Token wouldn’t lie, would it?" Situ Xin murmured, lowering her head.

After speaking, she touched her chin and gazed at the mountain surrounded by layers of white mist, pondering, "Could it be that both advancements of the space are related to that mountain?" With that thought, she teleported to the base of the mountain.

Upon arriving at the base of the mountain, Situ Xin felt her spirits lift immediately. "This feels so good." She took a deep breath, not expecting the Spiritual Energy here to be much more abundant than that near the villa.

Standing at the base of the mountain and looking up at its towering peak, Situ Xin prepared to teleport up but realized she remained in place, even after the thought crossed her mind. "Huh, what’s going on? Why isn’t teleportation working?" Situ Xin furrowed her brows. It was a well-known fact that she, as the ruler of her space, could easily teleport within it even when she was at a low cultivation level and couldn’t do so in the outside world. But now she couldn’t teleport at the foot of this mountain, which was definitely a surprise. "Could it be that my cultivation level isn’t high enough?" she questioned doubtfully, all the while eyeing the mountain before her, thinking: "Well, since I can’t teleport, I’ll just have to climb up myself." Curiosity had gotten the better of her regarding this mountain.

Fortunately, Situ Xin was wearing a set of pajamas instead of a heavy princess gown when she came in. She did some warm-up exercises, checked the Inner Strength within her body, and then tried her Qinggong. She found that although she couldn’t use teleportation, Qinggong was still functional.

This discovery brought joy to Situ Xin’s heart. Summoning the Inner Strength inside her, she stepped onto a rock at the base of the mountain and soared upwards; continuing to clamber over the rocks along the way, she finally reached a flatter area.

"Phew. Lucky I know Qinggong, otherwise, who knows how long it would take to climb." Situ Xin stopped to wipe the sweat from her forehead caused by the exertion and said.

As she turned her head to look around, she realized the vastness of the mountain; it more than compared to the famous mountains outside, possibly even surpassing them.

"My god, so much Spirit Grass." After shifting her gaze downwards, Situ Xin looked around and was thrilled to find that her surroundings were covered with all kinds of trees, and beneath the trees were various types of Spirit Grass.

Over the years, due to her study of medicine and Alchemy, Situ Xin had dealt with herbs, and her medicinal knowledge came from the Cultivation World, many of whose prescriptions contained Spirit Grass which was not found outside. Thus, she had a clear and thorough understanding of the various Spirit Grass of the Cultivation World, not just in terms of their applications and medicinal values, but also their appearances.

So, when Situ Xin saw what would be considered weeds in the eyes of ordinary people but were priceless treasures to her, even her usual composure was shaken.

How could she remain composed? Recently, watching the dwindling supply of Spirit Grass in the land had worried her. The amount of Spirit Grass had been decreasing due to her years of Alchemy, and she had certainly pondered solutions.

She considered saving seeds of Spirit Grass so she wouldn’t have to worry about them going extinct, but unfortunately, they didn’t produce seeds. Situ Xin had also tried grafting and other various means, all to no avail.

All she could do was watch the Spirit Grass in her land gradually diminish, feeling utterly helpless. This was why she had already started to cut back on making elixirs out of fear that someday there wouldn’t be a single plant left.

But she never anticipated that on this mountain, Spirit Grass would be as common as weeds, covering the ground everywhere. A quick glance revealed many varieties of Spirit Grass she didn’t have in her land. She remembered several elixir and medicinal recipes that called for some of these very herbs.

"This is wonderful, I no longer have to worry about Spirit Grass. There’s enough here to last me for decades," exclaimed Situ Xin with joy at the sight of the mountainside full of Spirit Grass like common weeds. Little did she know that this mountain’s Spirit Grass, just like ordinary weeds, would regrow in the same place after a period of time once plucked—what her reaction would be if she discovered that, one could only imagine.

After marveling at the mountain’s abundance of Spirit Grass, Situ Xin looked up at the trees. Scanning the mountainside, she realized she didn’t recognize a single tree. "What kind of trees are these?" questioned Situ Xin, noticing some of the trees bore fruit that looked similar to cherries but were in fact a pretty pink color—unlike cherries which are red and yellow. "They can’t be a mutation of cherries, can they?" But upon closer examination, one would recognize that although the fruit resembled cherries, they were not cherries at all.
