The Reaper's Wicked Obsession -
Chapter 261: The Silknis
Chapter 261: The Silknis
Isadora shivered deeply as the realization sank in. In the mating union, they are married now. Never in her entire life did she think it would ever happen, and to top it all, they were mated.
However, there was something that weighed on Isadora’s mind.
"Tell me what, darling?" Kraven asked, discerning a strain in the bond. He can’t read her thoughts, but if the pressure was deep enough to make the bond pulse, he could very well tell if something was bothering her.
"I’m a mannfae."
"And?"
"You’ll live forever, I won’t. I’ll get old when the time comes."
Kraven clenched her neck tightly, forcing her eyes to meet his. He gave a hard thrust, and her lips parted from the shock.
"As long as you share my heart, you share a part of my lifespan now."
She narrowed her eyes in confusion.
"This wasn’t just about the mating ritual, darling."
"What are you talking about?"
"I’ll explain later but right now, I want to fuck my mate nonstop."
Isadora yelped as she fell back to her hands and knees. She closed her eyes as the rest of the bliss took her.
Her back met the ground, Kraven hovering above her, hips moving back and forth, his lips tasting and worshipping every inch of her.
Kraven pressed his hand on her neck, keeping her pinned as his thrusts picked up pace once again.
Isadora moaned endlessly, her throat becoming too sore and her body aching too badly, but each time his length moved within her, smearing her insides with his seed, she wanted him again and again, until all she could think of and want was his brutal passion.
Isadora’s shoulder brushed hard against the stone pavement as Kraven took her behind in a lying position. Lips locked in a mouthwatering kiss as the passion seized them both, the rest of the world ceasing to exist.
Kraven’s hand trailed on her thigh, and then he raised her leg and got another much deeper angle.
Their lips came apart as Isadora moaned wildly like an animal in heat. Kraven, on the other hand, was going insane; no amount of release stopped him.
And by the gods, she looked like a divine goddess. Her golden blonde hair stuck to her back and neck like a second skin, her body glistening from the sweat. The candles lit around the pavement made it seem even more ethereal.
The dazed, unsatisfied look in her eyes was enough to make any man feral, and he was just that man, and all was lost for this beauty before him.
Isadora ran her hand through his drenched hair, grabbing the roots tightly as his body convulsed, but adjusted as a mind-splitting chill grasped her.
In the state of her bliss, she felt Kraven move, and he forced her legs wide open for him.
Isadora stared at him with dreamy eyes, detailing every move as he sank his mouth into her core.
"Dear gods!" she screamed, hand digging into his hair, her legs shutting on his face to keep him there.
Kraven would happily die being suffocated between her legs. He ravaged her, not leaving behind any spot unexplored.
Isadora felt like her heart would give out, her body quivering out of control, her mouth parting wide as a silent scream fled from her.
She had lost count of the many times she saw the skies, lost count of how Kraven ate her alive, and, grasping at the last straws of ecstasy, she passed out.

Isadora’s eyes flicked open, and a soft groan released from her. Behind her, she felt Kraven’s sweaty body glued to hers, his hand secured around her possessively like she would escape if he let go.
Isadora smiled, attempting to tease him by moving her body, but she got teased right back.
They were still connected.
"Gods, Kraven," she murmured under her breath.
Kraven groaned deeply, face buried in her neck. "Finally you’re awake. Keep moving, darling."
Isadora’s eyes quickly moved to the skies, and she found the sun coming up.
"It’s already first light. The ritual is over."
"How bold of you to think that I won’t keep going."
"You’ll break my body," Isadora whined, stopping his hand that grabbed her breast in a squeeze.
She didn’t want to acknowledge how her body responded to him.
Kraven took that as a sign that she was ready for him.
"Kraven!" she panicked, on the verge of crying if she had to.
"Just one more, darling."
"Please, no. I felt it, I know you kept going even after I passed out!"
"Didn’t you like it?"
That was what frightened her the most, because she loved it. But she didn’t want to give him the idea.
A faint skittering filled the air, which grasped their attention instantly.
"What’s that?" Isadora said as her body tensed.
The sound got louder until a small pitch black creature like ink, walked up the pavement and stopped. It had eight long slender legs, eyes like onyx.
Recognition became Isadora’s gaze. It was the same type of creature that the seller was trying to persuade her to buy back at the Dealer’s Isle.
"It’s a Silknis."
"Silknis?" Isadora voiced in confusion as Kraven moved. She noted he had an unreadable expression on his face.
"They’re the Sigil for Visindi, the god of wisdom, used as messengers. Insanely expensive."
"What is it doing here then?" Isadora asked, hugging herself, as it suddenly got cold without Kraven’s body.
"It’s mine," Kraven replied, ripping a piece of clothing and walking to the Silknis, waiting for him, and crouched.
"Yours?"
"This was bought for the sole purpose of being used when there’s a crisis in the Raven Court." Kraven laid the piece of clothing on the ground, speaking to it in Faetong.
The Silknis stepped on the material and dissolved into ink, forming a writing.
"Kraven? What’s wrong?" Isadora asked, worried, feeling the air shift.
Kraven rose to his full height, clenching the material, and faced Isadora.
His face was drained of color, something she had never seen before.
"The Raven Court... is destroyed."
