Chapter 752: Chapter 714: Stone Eater_1

"How much do you know about the Bronze-faced God?"

Pang Jian cautiously inquired.

"I’m not very clear about Him, only that His skills in forging Divine Artifacts are extremely prominent," the Netherworld Prison messenger thought for a moment and then said, "The Stone Eater actually knows more about Him."

"The Stone Eater?" Pang Jian was astonished.

"The Stone Eater is the master of the Fragment Lands ahead, an Alien Spirit with the combat power of a High God. Among the rankings of Alien Spirits, He is at the twelfth level," explained the Netherworld Prison messenger.

Pang Jian asked a few more questions and soon found out that Alien Spirits like the Star Devourer were only at the tenth level, with power corresponding to a Low-rank God.

And the eleventh level Alien Spirits correspond to Middle-level Gods, while the twelfth level corresponds to High Gods.

Pang Ling, referred to as the "World Tree" outside the heavens, reached the tenth level after making progress in that Fragment Land, equivalent to a Low-rank God.

The Stone Eater, however, was a twelfth level Alien Spirit, and even High Gods like Zimo and He Motian had little they could do against Him.

Unless the four Sovereigns descended, they could only surely overcome Him.

"Is He at odds with the Bronze-faced God?" Pang Jian curiously asked.

"I’m not sure about the specifics, but they used to have frequent dealings, with the Bronze-faced God purchasing many forging materials from Him," the Netherworld Prison messenger’s eyes glowed with confusion as he said, "Anyway, the Netherworld God entrusted by the Bronze-faced God was killed by Him, and He gave no reason for it."

"His action of killing our Netherworld God has caused some dissatisfaction among our leaders, who now plan to communicate with Him soon."

"Regarding Him and this Fragment Land Group, my suggestion is... to avoid them as much as possible."

This Netherworld God, who had entrusted his Spiritual Soul in Fan Di’s remains, planned to lead Pang Jian away from this land of trouble, to prevent the Stone Eater from making trouble.

"Huh!"

Suddenly, the entire Fragment Land Group, every Fragment Land, started to move simultaneously in the Misty Sea.

More than a dozen Fragment Lands of various sizes and shapes shone with a faint light, dispelling the gray fog and heading straight towards Pang Jian’s direction.

"I smell the scent of an old friend," a deep voice came from the heart of the largest Fragment Land, "Is there the scent of a World Tree? Has He revived?"

A Stoneman suddenly split the rock and flew out of the Fragment Land, striding through the void towards Pang Jian.

His body was stone, without flesh and bones, yet inside flowed a strange Stone Marrow like blood.

An incredibly bizarre and heavy force accompanied His approach, making Pang Jian feel suffocated as if pressed down by myriad mountains.

The Mysterious Fog and the void seemed to be filled with countless invisible stones, making it hard for Pang Jian to move even an inch.

"The Stone Eater!"

In the Fragment Lands behind Him, numerous God Spirits were stirred, floating in mid-air and gazing intently at Him.

These God Spirits were from the Ghost Clan, Outer World Demon Gods, the Giant Spirit Race, the Flame Clan, the Heaven Clan, and other such groups.

So many Alien God Spirits living peacefully under His rule in the Fragment Lands, neither seeking trouble from Him nor fighting and killing each other.

"He is the Stone Eater!" the Netherworld Prison messenger’s eyes, blazing with a deep blue flame, seemed to carry a weighty concern as he first warned Pang Jian, then shouted, "Stone Eater, this guest is someone our leader wishes to meet. Whatever issues you have with the Bronze-faced God should not be taken out on him!"

"Our leader wants to meet a living him, not a corpse!"

This Netherworld Prison messenger brought up their leader right away for fear that the Stone Eater might, without a word, blast Pang Jian to death upon sight, preventing him from completing His mission.

"Where is He? You have His scent on you, is He still alive?"

The Stone Eater didn’t pay any attention to the Netherworld God and, being the same height as a normal person, Its two stone bead eyes rolled around within Its eye sockets, staring at Pang Jian’s body, saying, "I can smell the power from Him on you!"

Pang Jian’s Immortal Primordial Spirit, under the terrifying oppressive force of the Stone Eater, indeed found every step an arduous task.

The perfect fusion he felt with the Mysterious Fog was mercilessly severed by the radiance emitted by the Stone Eater.

This Twelfth Level Alien Spirit made him feel that no matter how much he struggled, he could never escape from the palm of Its hand.

"He has been resurrected in Purgatory," Pang Jian answered with trepidation in his heart.

"Purgatory!" The Stone Eater exclaimed softly, studying Pang Jian with Its stone bead eyes, "Are you of the Human Race?"

"The Human Race!"

Behind It, on the Fragment Land, Alien Gods of various tribal origins all looked over with strange expressions on their faces.

Pang Jian inwardly cursed his luck.

Restricted heavily by the power of the Stone Eater, facing those Alien Gods from Outer Space, he feared he couldn’t even escape.

"Indeed, I am of the Human Race."

But still, he braced himself and admitted his identity, then said, "This World Tree of His has only recently grown to the tenth level under my care."

"What? You know each other?"

As he said these words, Pang Jian was all nerves inside, secretly observing the Stone Eater and the other God Spirits.

What struck him as odd was that the Alien Gods wandering these Fragment Lands did not show any expression of wanting to kill him after he admitted his identity as part of the Human Race.

A Human True God, it seemed, wouldn’t be subjected to pursuit and killing from all sides here.

The Stone Eater nodded emphatically, "We know each other!"

After a moment of thought, It said to the Netherworld Prison envoy, "Before we see your leader, I want to have a talk with him first. Don’t worry, I won’t kill him; he will enter the Netherworld Prison alive."

The heart of the Netherworld Prison envoy that had been hanging finally settled down, and he hurriedly said, "That’s good, that’s good."

It turned Its head back towards Pang Jian and said, "The God Spirits active in this area, as well as the Netherworld Gods of our Nether Tribe and the True Gods of your Human Race, are all Different Kinds who are unwelcome in the outside world."

"Hmm, we’ve been uniformly defined as Evil Gods by those fellows from the Hall of Gods."

"Your identity as part of the Human Race doesn’t cause any problems in the Stone Eater’s Fragment Land."

After clearing Pang Jian’s doubts, It lingered in place without any intention of delving deeper into the Fragment Lands, then said, "You can consider this Fragment Land Group as an open trading ground. The God Spirits from the Ghost Prison, the God Spirits from the Demon Prison, many God Spirits from realms with the word ’prison’ in their names, after leaving their original worlds, if they don’t fare well in the outer space, they also stay in the Stone Eater’s Fragment Land for a while."

"In His Fragment Land, one won’t suffer from the invasion of the Mysterious Fog; this is a natural ability of His."

Upon hearing this, Pang Jian concentrated and took a closer look, indeed noticing that each piece of Fragment Land above was not shrouded in the gray mist of the Mysterious Fog.

All the pieces of Fragment Land, made of stone, emitted a faint stony radiance, dissolving the gray fog.

The God Spirits from various tribes were indeed not submerged by the Mysterious Fog and did not suffer constant contamination.

"What’s your name?" the Stone Eater suddenly asked.

"Pang Jian."

"Hmm, come with me, Pang Jian."
