Chapter 726: Chapter 688: Netherworld Prison Envoy_1
Outer Starry Sky.
Upon a dim yellow star, the towering figure of He Motian sat solemnly on a giant lotus platform.
In the void behind Him, various mysterious Demonic Realm Worlds flickered in and out of existence, where worlds within were either in peace and harmony or engulfed by the flames of war, or even nurturing all kinds of demons.
As a High God, His Demon Soul and Demon Thought could connect with numerous Demonic Realms.
"Fan Qi is dead."
A deep Demon Sound came from a fiery Demonic Realm, saying, "The one who stepped out of Purgatory killed Fan Qi and merged with Fan Qi’s Demon Soul and origin."
One of He Motian’s calm and resolute faces showed a look of surprise, "Is He planning to consolidate power outside the heavens?"
"It seems so." The entity in the fiery Demonic Realm mused, "Fan Qi, as well as several others who have separated from the Original Demon, will all become targets of the Source Demon. The Source Demon awoke first, knew its identity and mission, and is not content with being a part of the Original Demon."
"Within a certain range, He can tell who, like Him, is also a being that has separated from the Original Demon."
"He is using this method to strengthen Himself. Should we do anything?"
The entity in the fiery Demonic Realm humbly sought advice.
"There’s no need."
He Motian shook His head and said indifferently, "It’s useless, no matter how hard He tries, He cannot change the outcome. At any moment, should He encounter the Original Demon, the Original Demon has ways to control Him."
"His power, His Demon Soul, His path, all stem from the Original Demon."
"With His own power, He will never be able to contend with the Original Demon. You need not be nervous."
"You..."
A head that had formed behind He Motian normally filled with violent madness, suddenly displayed a look of horror at that moment.
All the Demonic Realm Worlds corresponding to Him and penetrated by His magic power suddenly disappeared.
He and His millions of followers, and each of the Divine Temples, suddenly lost connection.
In the vast starry space, in the endless heavens and earth, it seemed only He remained.
"Whoosh whoosh!"
He heard the sound of flowing water.
Then, He sensed a will far superior to His own, located in a mysterious Star River, transmitting a decree across the boundless void.
"Don’t touch her."
The visage of Li Yuqing clearly manifested in He Motian’s mind.
He Motian’s Demon Souls were numerous, part of them here, and others scattered across various Demonic Realms.
But after that decree was made clear, the image of Li Yuqing appeared in every one of He Motian’s Demon Souls.
He Motian stood up from the giant lotus platform and gazed in one direction, speaking with a complex expression, "I understand."
The sound of water ceased, and the previously hidden Demonic Realm Worlds once again appeared, one by one, in the void.
The voice from the fiery Demonic Realm spoke up once more, asking, "My lord, what just happened? For a moment, I couldn’t sense You."
"It’s nothing."
All four of He Motian’s faces appeared heavy with thoughts as He swiftly communicated with the Demon Gods close to Him to convey His own will.
...
Beneath Thunder Prison.
Pang Jian, who had come out from this place and intended to enter again, his expression suddenly changed.
A figure with wings growing from its back, resembling a lion or a tiger, made of gray-white bones, was hovering in the Misty Sea below Thunder Prison.
That was Fan Di.
But Fan Di had long been dead, even the important parts of the demon bones had been dismantled and taken away by the gathering God Spirits; previously, only some scattered pieces remained.
Would the remains of Fan Di ever reappear?
"Bang! Bang!"
Two blue wraithfires emerged from the empty eye sockets of Fan Di.
The dead Fan Di suddenly began to speak, "Don’t be nervous. This Fan Di’s skeletal body has been greatly reduced in size. It’s built from those shattered bones."
"Also, I wasn’t the one who killed Fan Di. I merely attached part of my soul inside."
"Pang Jian, I am here at the request of the Bronze-faced God, specially waiting for you."
The unknown entity let out a light chuckle, "Human Race, in the vast and endless Star River, you are not without allies."
Upon hearing the name of the Bronze-faced God and that last sentence, Pang Jian realized that this entity must know the identity of the Bronze-faced God and so he asked, "Who are you?"
"I come from the Netherworld Prison."
The entity possessing Fan Di’s bones smiled and added, "I’ve heard that you raised our Netherworld Prison Soul Bees in Purgatory."
Pang Jian was startled.
The Netherworld Prison, viewed as a Forbidden Land by those divine beings outside of heaven, no god spirit attempts to garner followers there.
The god spirits from the Netherworld Prison are also considered evil god spirits.
The legendary golden Netherworld Prison Soul Bees, it seems, only take orders from the Alien God leader within the mysterious Netherworld Prison.
Are the Netherworld Prison’s god spirits and the Human Race actually allies?
With many doubts surfacing in his mind, Pang Jian asked, "What is the purpose of your visit?"
"The Bronze-faced God, through the divine beings he deals with, heard about the Ghost Clan’s Zimo planning an ambush outside the Thunder Prison, so he asked me to come over and check on you."
"I was a step too late."
"When I was on the way, I heard you were inside the Thunder Prison, dealing with the three Demon Gods who obeyed He Motian. When Zimo saw his plan was exposed and knew you wouldn’t come out, he left."
"Heh, the True Gods of your Human Race are indeed fearsome. You’ve caused such a disturbance not long after leaving Purgatory."
After expressing his admiration, the Netherworld Prison god spirit paused and then continued, "In addition to the Bronze-faced God’s request, I came to take you to the Netherworld Prison. Our leader wants to meet you."
"Your leader isn’t outside heaven, but in the Netherworld Prison?" Pang Jian asked in surprise.
"That’s right." The god spirit laughed strangely, "Our most powerful leader is within the Netherworld Realm. Divine beings like myself mostly lurk within the Mysterious Fog, and rarely venture out into the outer starry spaces."
"Pang Jian, the Mysterious Fog is vast enough, and its resources are not scarce."
"Beyond the realms written with the character ’prison’, within the inner parts of the Mysterious Fog, there are many powerful creatures active. Because of the complex environment of the Mysterious Fog, and its vastness, you haven’t encountered them before."
"I can lead you on a nice tour through the world of mist, and take you to witness the wonders within the Mysterious Fog."
The mysterious messenger from the Netherworld Prison seemed quite enthusiastic.
"I would like to meet the Bronze-faced God," Pang Jian said.
"Of course." The Netherworld Prison messenger said with a smile, "This was also his intention. As long as you come with me, I can arrange a meeting."
Glancing up at the Thunder Prison, Pang Jian thought for a moment and said, "I have friends inside. I need to go in and let them know."
"No problem, I can wait," the Netherworld Prison messenger replied patiently.
"How long can you wait?"
"A long time."
"Then it’s settled."
Keeping an eye on the movements of the Netherworld Prison messenger, Pang Jian cautiously flew towards the Thunder Prison, but the messenger made no unusual move to stop his return.
Only when his Primordial Spirit Body easily passed through the Boundary Wall did the blue wraithlight in Fan Di’s eye sockets suddenly flare up.
"He’s crossing the Boundary Wall directly with his body, not through a Realm God Card."
