Chapter 725: Chapter 687 Han Yi’s Beautiful Fantasy_1

"Crack!"

The spider-bodied Yang Luo, with his enormous frame, was frozen and shattered by the Extreme Cold Divine Power, breaking into tiny ice crystals.

"He is filled with bizarre and potent toxins; it is not wise to incorporate His power into one’s body."

On the crystal clear Divine Platform, Han Yi continued to use Divine Power, ceaselessly erasing the residual forces within Yang Luo’s body.

The revelation of Youkui’s Divine Secret Technique made Him aware that Pang Jian possessed a secret skill that allowed him to gain the powers of other God Spirits through their death.

He had some understanding of Yang Luo and knew that Yang Luo’s Divine Power was full of corrosive strange forces. Fearing that Pang Jian would recklessly absorb it and backlash against himself, He decided to destroy Yang Luo’s corpse as thoroughly as possible.

Seeing that Pang Jian did not object, He said with joy evident in His ice-cold eyes, "I never expected that you could actually kill Yang Luo."

In that unknown star, Pang Jian’s solo killing of the Ghost Clan’s Youkui was somewhat reliant on the Thunder Pond and the Source Demon, which involved an element of trickery.

— At least that was how Ying Yue saw it.

But this time, Pang Jian did not even resort to that terrifying Thunder Pond, nor did he use any Divine Artifact.

He simply used the Profound Tao he had comprehended, along with the Soul Secret Techniques mastered by Youkui, to first draw out Yang Luo’s Spiritual Soul and then obliterate it with Fiery Lightning.

This battle was enough to prove Pang Jian’s true strength, which was at least at the level of a Middle-level God.

This made Han Yi incredibly elated, even more so than if His own strength had increased substantially.

"Earlier..." Pang Jian attempted to explain.

With a pursed smile and a shake of her head, Han Yi said, "You don’t need to explain. I’m not stupid. The thunderbolt you brought down on me and the one you used against Yang Luo were not of the same power level at all."

A faint smile appeared on Pang Jian’s face as he said, "Your manifestation to shatter His God Status, wouldn’t that bring you trouble? When I was still in Thunder Prison, Ying Yue was worried you’d do something foolish and risked warning me against it."

Han Yi’s bright eyes fixated on his face, without speaking for a long while.

It was after quite a while that the Goddess of Cold Crystal, somewhat embarrassedly, looked down and said, "So you can smile after all. You look good when you smile. This is the first time you’ve smiled at me."

Her silence was enchanted by Pang Jian’s first displayed smile.

Yet, her words caused Pang Jian to fall silent as well.

Years ago, another woman had said the same thing to him, telling him that he looked good when he smiled and that he should smile more.

That woman, now one of the most feared individuals of the Purgatory Human Tribe, was the one whom Yang Luo had sworn to serve unto death, and whom both Zimo and He Motian dared not provoke.

The words She had once said were probably long forgotten, washed away by the memories that came flooding back upon Her awakening.

"What’s on your mind?"

While maneuvering the crystal clear Divine Platform, Han Yi removed Yang Luo’s Space Ring and also submerged his even smaller body using Divine Power.

While doing all this, She continued to speak, "Yang Luo was not Youkui. He served the Sovereign and was accepted for only a brief period; He never even had the chance to meet the Sovereign’s True Body."

Pang Jian didn’t respond to what was on his mind and Han Yi didn’t pursue it, simply continuing to talk to herself.

"Yang Luo’s Spiritual Soul likely has no connections to that one; His death shouldn’t cause any issues."

"Even the Branded Shadow Divine Stone was found by me. Don’t worry, I will be fine."

In the crystal clear ice eyes of the Goddess of Cold Crystal, a tender, water-like affection appeared as She suddenly said, "Pang Jian, thank you for all that you’ve done for me."

His affection was neither contrived nor insincere, quite the contrary, it was very genuine.

He dared to express his emotions, "I know that there’s no possibility between us. I am a god spirit from outside Purgatory, while you are a human true god, and it’s very difficult for us to have any contact."

"Yet for some reason, I simply feel differently about you. I just want you to know that beyond the Mysterious Fog, in the starry skies, there is a woman who will always be thinking of you."

"Pang Jian, please survive. And if possible, respond to me occasionally."

Han Yi took out Yang Luo’s Space Ring, preparing to toss it over.

"I don’t need it," Pang Jian shook his head and then said, "Both I and my True Body in Purgatory can connect and communicate with each other through spatial miracles. In Thunder Prison, within the Mysterious Fog, I can return to Purgatory, so you needn’t worry about my safety."

"So, don’t do anything foolish anymore, and don’t try to save me by mixing in with those god spirits in the future."

"I don’t need you to."

"Whoosh!"

As he spoke, Pang Jian, surrounded by Seven-color God Light, flew back towards Thunder Prison.

The divine body that was like ice and jade, Han Yi, shone with a faint glow as she watched Pang Jian leave, watching him disappear from her sight.

Only then did she softly say, "You are worried about me, I know."

A sweet smile curled the corners of her mouth, and she cheerfully erased the signs of battle, then following the connection with Bright Moon, she flew swiftly out of the Misty Sea.

Just after leaving the Mysterious Fog, she immediately took out the crystal token and with godly resonance said, "Ying Yue, he smiled at me."

Through the crystal token, came the alarmed secret language of the Moon Goddess: "You met him again? Where are you? I had warned him not to step out of Thunder Prison!"

"Damn it! If you two meet this frequently, a big disaster is bound to happen soon!"

"Han Yi, we have already captured the Star Devourer, so we can make up for the previous losses. We even have the opportunity to help you break free from his constraints, why do you still need to see him so badly?"

Ying Yue’s tone was filled with annoyance.

"I just want to see him, to be near him, that’s the reason," Han Yi, wearing a smile in her eyes, thought for a moment, then said, "Yang Luo is dead. Ying Yue, what you said is somewhat off, he really has the power to defeat a middle-level god all by himself, I saw it with my own eyes!"

"He did it himself?" Ying Yue gasped in surprise, "Not with your help? Did you leave any trace? Were there any other god spirits nearby when you made your move?"

The Moon Goddess asked anxiously, one question after another.

"It was him, I only helped a bit at the end, shattering Yang Luo’s God Status," Han Yi communicated pridefully, "Just think about it, if he can now defeat middle-level gods like Yang Luo, then after some time, after a few years, could he possibly have the combat power of a high god?"

"What exactly are you trying to say?" Ying Yue was both shocked and confused.

"If, in the future, his power surpasses that of high gods and reaches the level of a Sovereign, couldn’t the troubles faced by the Purgatory Human Tribe be solved? Once he becomes so powerful that the gods find him difficult to handle, wouldn’t they choose to accept the human race, to accept him?" Han Yi inquired earnestly.

Ying Yue scoffed coldly, "You really know how to dream."

She understood what Han Yi was fantasizing about but unapologetically doused cold water on it, "As far as I know, among the human powerhouses who laid hands on the Hall of Gods in the past, there were those whose power was close to a Sovereign. The first to die was that strongest human."

"Given the gods’ extreme apprehension of the human race at present, they will not allow another human true god to reach such a level of power."

"So, stop having unrealistic fantasies."
