The Purgatory Calamity
Chapter 606 - 574: The Misty Sea is My Home_1

Chapter 606: Chapter 574: The Misty Sea is My Home_1

It was also the Mysterious Fog.

A ship with distinct Ghost Clan features lay shattered in the vast Misty Sea, with dozens of Ghost Clan warriors scattered miserably, their bodies drained of flesh and blood.

A sword, glowing with a scarlet brilliance, floated above Dong Tianze’s head.

That sword was slender, sharp, fierce, and its murderous aura was deep as the sea.

It matched Dong Tianze’s temperament perfectly.

Across endless voids, separated by the Boundary Wall of two worlds, Pang Jian could sense the moment he laid eyes on it through the bronze badge, feeling like it was made for Dong Tianze.

Beneath the sword.

Dong Tianze stood tall and thin, his spine straight, like a Bloodthirsty Blade himself.

This was the first scene Pang Jian perceived.

Then, a speck of gold light appeared, representing a Golden Bee Insect.

After that, suddenly thousands of golden lights entered Pang Jian’s vision.

Countless Golden Bee Insects entered Pang Jian’s perception, like a sky full of golden stars.

The space holding the Absolute Sky Forbidden Land, surrounded by the Mysterious Fog of this realm, all Bee Insects became Pang Jian’s eyes.

Naturally, this included the Bee King!

The most dazzling Bee King, like a golden sun, radiated brightly within the "prison" character Pang Jian’s will was immersed in, deepening the connection between Pang Jian and that world.

A mysterious force suddenly started to guide Pang Jian.

Holding the bronze badge, his Immortal Primordial Spirit flew from his shoulder and entered the Mysterious Fog next to the Boundary Wall.

On both sides of the Boundary Wall was the vast mist; before breaking through the Boundary Wall, he remained in the Dark Prison.

But as long as there was the Mysterious Fog, the bronze badge in his hand had the power!

It was a power that could let him traverse the spatial Boundary Walls!

And the Mysterious Fog was the bridge that could connect all the vast worlds, with the Boundary Walls offering no restriction.

"Whoosh!"

An ancient and magnificent gateway, condensed from the refined essence of the Mysterious Fog, silently materialized before him.

This portal shared the same design as the bronze badge, seeping with the heavy traces of time, connecting the past and the future and bearing the glory of the countless "prison" worlds within the Mysterious Fog.

Lowering his head, Pang Jian knew it was the "door" character on the back of the bronze badge that became bright, shining onto the dense Mysterious Fog ahead.

The light released by this "door," with the Mysterious Fog as its power source, had carved out this gateway.

With a gentle push, the door swung open.

Within the door was the previously perceived Bee King, shining like a golden sun.

...

On the other side.

Dong Tianze, who had shattered the "Black Ghost" ship and was nourishing the Bloodthirsty Blade with the blood of many seventh and eighth-level Ghost Clan warriors, suddenly looked behind the Bee King.

The Bee King, resembling Pang Jian by seventy to eighty percent and with an indifferent expression, had a pair of peculiar golden compound eyes.

He abruptly turned around.

A bright spatial rift, appearing without warning, startled him as well.

After a moment, he caught the scent of Pang Jian and tentatively asked, "Where are you?"

"Pang Jian?" Dong Tianze was surprised to hear.

Their response, the slow tearing apart of the spatial rift, was a towering divine figure stepping out of the gap.

This divine figure’s chest skin had been torn away, revealing an inner spectacle as radiant as the Star River; of course, it could only be Pang Jian, but not his True Body.

"I’m in the Mysterious Fog and ran into a Middle-level God named Yang Luo. I’ve been injured," said Pang Jian, having arrived as the Immortal Primordial Spirit but leaving his True Body and the bronze badge in the Dark Prison. He glanced at the vicious Divine Sword buzzing ominously and asked, "Bloodthirsty Blade?"

Upon these words, the buzzing of the Bloodthirsty Blade became even more agitated.

Pang Jian’s Origin Demon Sword in his hand also responded with a sword hum.

Two Divine Swords, long suppressed at the bottom of the Sword Tower, were familiar with each other; neither had expected to reunite outside the Sword Tower.

"Yes, it is the Bloodthirsty Blade," Dong Tianze said.

Dong Tianze grasped the bloodstained longsword in his hand and casually stabbed it into his own body, using the blood from his viscera to continue nourishing the sword.

His flesh, his blood and bones, they were the scabbard of this sword.

"Middle-level God from beyond the sky, can you fight a battle now?"

The pride and audacity that had just emerged from wielding the Bloodthirsty Blade and slaughtering the strong of the Ghost Clan was instantly shattered by Pang Jian’s words, "Pang Jian, I too seek a seat of Godhood, to ascend as a deity of the mortal realm through the path of blood. Even if that means becoming the so-called Evil God that the True Gods do not acknowledge!"

His first question had a hint of dejection, but his confidence was swiftly restored.

He had unwavering faith in his own strength.

He believed that once he ascended to True God, he would be one of the strongest, able to battle with Pang Jian against the God Spirits of the heavens just like before.

"There will be. There must be Fate bestowed upon you, Dong Tianze, to support your ascension as a deity of the mortal realm." Pang Jian began to laugh.

His Immortal Primordial Spirit was not in a hurry to return to Purgatory immediately; instead, he stayed in this Misty Sea to inquire from Dong Tianze and the Bee King what had transpired.

He quickly learned the truth and found out about the six special Boundary Wall points that could connect with the Mysterious Fog outside.

"If you are going to heal, return to Purgatory sooner. Here, I alone am enough to guard," said Dong Tianze, glancing at the corpses of the Ghost Clan warriors, "I need to nourish the sword using their bodies. Once I have conditioned the Bloodthirsty Blade well and I am ready, I will seek my Divine Tao and ascend."

Looking at Dong Tianze like this, a smile appeared on Pang Jian’s lips, and he nodded, "Okay."

Without the bronze medal on him, his Immortal Primordial Spirit could still sense the Bee Insects scattered in all directions, but he could not teleport to them instantaneously.

Therefore, it took him some time, speeding through this familiar Misty Sea.

With the Bee Insects here, he would not lose his way.

In the end, it took him only half an hour to step out of the Misty Sea from the location of Dong Tianze and the Bee King.

"Huh!"

As an Immortal Primordial Spirit, he reappeared in the real Purgatory World.

His chest was gaping open, and even though he had suffered heavy injuries, it was not horrifying in the slightest.

"Godhood, Fate..."

Closing his eyes, he hovered in the void of the Purgatory Second Realm, trying to sense Fate.

He wanted to try and see if he could once again draw Fate into his body to heal the injuries of his Immortal Primordial Spirit.

His Divine Consciousness surged like a tidal wave, centered on this body, sweeping across all directions.

Each piece of Fragment Land entered his perception, branding itself deep in his mind.

The breath of strong beings from nearby Fragment Lands, the combination of human breath and Spiritual Energy within their bodies, their actions and words—Pang Jian could perceive within a certain range.

But he could not smell Fate.

"Pang Jian!"

A vast and ethereal Divine Voice rose from a piece of land in the First Realm, sounding as though it was from the clouds or the Star River.

Moments later, a dazzling figure in flowing attire crossed the sky between the First Realm and the Second Realm, elegantly standing before Pang Jian.

"You’ve been injured?"

Li Wang’s eyes showed surprise as he looked at the Mysterious Fog behind Pang Jian, his expression suddenly grew solemn, "You’ve returned from that Mysterious Fog where the Absolute Sky Forbidden Land lies?"

He had always thought that after the battle between Pang Jian and Li Chu, Pang Jian would retreat to the Panshi Fragment Land to stabilize his realm in seclusion.

He never expected that Pang Jian’s sudden appearance would be from this Mysterious Fog, and with obvious injuries no less.

Who could have injured Pang Jian, victorious over Li Chu?

A Level 10 warrior from the Fifth Realm, or the Fire God, Yan Lie?

Li Wang was full of doubts.

Pang Jian did not hide and nodded, then pointed to his fleshless chest cavity, "How can such injuries be healed?"

"What caused it?" Li Wang asked in response.

Pang Jian answered, "A God Spirit named Yang Luo."

"Be more specific, what level of Godhood does He belong to?" Li Wang asked again.

Pang Jian replied again, "Middle-level God."

Li Wang fell silent.
