Chapter 346: Chapter 326 Thunder God’s Relic_1
Forbidden Land of Thunder God.
In the depths of the broken city, within the river valley, at the bottom of the deep pit, the puppet-like Alien Gods that were searching for the Divine Court Fragments each came to a halt, motionless.
Although the puppet bodies ceased moving, a hazy divine glow emerged, carrying with it a pure and ethereal godly aura.
These auras were like the quiet breeze of a tranquil mountain stream, the lush scent of verdant vegetation, and the sweet juice inside ripe fruit, refreshing the soul and tempting with their pure cleanliness.
Zhao Yuanqi killed a warrior of the Mountain Ghost Tribe and, upon reaching the deity statue forged of black iron, her nostrils flared slightly, her eyes revealing a hint of astonishment.
She cautiously reached out to touch the statue and used her Divine Sense to perceive it.
A garishly blooming black flower, revealing its beauty, floated within the desolate brain cavity of the statue.
"This item..."
As she plunged her Divine Sense into the black flower, she immediately felt a unique soul breath, which naturally infused into her Divine Sense.
Her Divine Sense thus acquired divinity.
Another divine presence spread out, seeping into the "Spring Eye" beneath her Sea of Consciousness, helping her to cultivate a brand new Divine Sense.
"It’s true!"
Zhao Yuanqi found it unbelievable. She looked towards Qi Qingsong of Sword Tower and Zhou Qingchen beside the Minotaur deity statue.
The two, who had communicated with Pang Jian earlier and knew what was going to happen in the Forbidden Land of Thunder God, were also collecting that divinity-only power in their own ways.
Zhao Yuanqi turned her head and noticed that Dong Tianze was not idle either; he was excitedly pouncing towards a fiery lion-like deity statue.
As for the fierce and powerful warriors of the Ice Tribe, they were busy blasting foreign warriors from the Outer Realm in all directions.
The Ice Tribe paid no attention to the immobile Alien God puppets that had lost consciousness, as if they were unaware of the pure divinity within them.
What they cared about were the alien vessels, the treasures hidden within, and the fragments of the Thunder Divine Court.
"I cannot fall behind!"
Zhao Yuanqi, excited by the realization that this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, focused her energy on gathering divinity.
In mid-air.
"Whoosh!"
Pang Jian floated down and slowed to a stop just before landing.
Below the sky pit, that cracked silver-white pool where the Thunder God contemplated, as well as the grey-brown iron tree, had caught his attention.
Curious, he looked around the pool and saw the bones of alien warriors, as well as the bodies of Thunder Clan powerhouses.
"Thunder God, was it with this item that you constructed the Thunder Divine Court? And did you control those from all worlds who contemplated the Thunder Heavenly Tao?"
Pang Jian pondered.
"Whoosh! Whoosh!"
Ice Halberd and Ice Cloud, two Ice Tribe warriors with six-tier bloodlines, also hovered above the pool.
"My lord, please be careful," Ice Halberd said with an ashamed expression. "We have never left The Frozen Land and are unaware of the wonders of the outside world, nor do we know whether this thing poses any dangers."
"Hmm, first inform our tribesmen not to hunt the native Thunder Clan," Pang Jian suddenly instructed.
"Understood,"
Ice Halberd immediately went to carry out the task.
"The iron tree is withered, the pool is shattered, and no longer gathers thunder and lightning,"
Pang Jian narrowed his eyes slightly.
He summoned a strand of thunder and lightning from his Thunder Vortex and infused it into the silver-white pool, curious to see if it hid any mysteries.
"Crackle!"
A bolt of lightning touched the pool’s edge.
The Thunder Principal imprints that Thunder God contemplated on the pool’s rocky wall twisted and moved wildly, like a spark igniting a prairie fire.
A suction force suddenly arose!
"Whiz! Whiz, whiz!"
Streams of golden Divine Consciousness, cascading like waterfalls in Pang Jian’s Sea of Consciousness, suddenly withered significantly.
The twisting of the Thunder Pond’s imprints actually absorbed the Divine Consciousness in his brain, illuminating something within it.
High in the sky, the sole remaining eerie eye of The Observer showed a trace of coldness.
"Buzz! Buzz, buzz!"
Sensing danger, Pang Jian called upon hundreds of Ming Prison Soul Bees in his Sea of Consciousness to resist that peculiar suction force.
"Cut!"
A heavenly blade refined from his Divine Consciousness slashed through the void of his Sea of Consciousness, severing the intangible yet real connection.
Pang Jian promptly forced his gaze away from the Thunder Pond and soared upwards.
"My lord!"
Ice Cloud’s expression changed as he rode a Spiritual Bird to come to Pang Jian’s aid, pulling him onto the body of the Spiritual Bird.
"The Thunder Pond actually siphoned off my Divine Consciousness and lit up an item!"
Pang Jian felt a chill in his heart as he carefully inspected his Sea of Consciousness, only to see that the strands of Divine Consciousness he had painstakingly refined had become thin and withered, stripped of much of their divinity.
"Be careful, my lord!"
Ice Cloud let out a terrified scream.
"Crack! Boom, boom!"
The suspended thunderbolts in the Forbidden Land of Thunder God writhed like giant dragons, twisting in all directions to strike down outsiders.
Any outsider who was not of the Thunder Clan, whether Human Race, Ice Tribe, or Alien God puppets, became targets for those thick thunderbolts to hunt, instantly killing off many.
"The residual wrath of the Thunder God!"
"Evacuate the Forbidden Land of Thunder God!"
"This place is not safe to linger!"
The invading warriors of different kinds desperately fled towards the sky.
The vast lightning coursing through the void suddenly exploded with the divine brilliance of seven colors—green, blue, yellow, orange, purple, green, red—striking the invaders from the Outer Realm with purpose as if endowed with Divine Consciousness.
"Spurt! Bang! Pop pop pop!"
Those who touched by the lightning turned into blood mist and shattered bones in the blink of an eye, eradicated by the mighty heavenly might of Thunderbolt.
For a time, screams and cries filled the Forbidden Land of Thunder God as it became a battlefield.
The few surviving warriors of the Thunder Clan watched the spectacle of the eternal, yet unmoving Thunder and Lightning waterfall in the Forbidden Land of Thunder God turn into a vicious killer, and they all showed expressions of satisfaction, as if their deep-seated vengeance was being fulfilled.
"Kill! Kill them!"
"Kill all those who invade!"
"Alien Tribes, Different Kinds, they should all be annihilated in the Forbidden Land of Thunder God!"
The warriors of the Thunder Clan roared into the sky, their pained yells echoing in all directions.
"All of the Forbidden Land of Thunder God’s lightning is converging on that pond!" A shocked Pang Jian, coming to his senses, exclaimed, "Don’t block their path; stay away from them!"
"Qi Qingsong, Sister Zhuang, take those puppets that haven’t had their divinity completely drained yet to the corners of the Forbidden Land!"
"Ice Plain, Ice Surplus, don’t bother with the invaders’ ships just yet, don’t rush to plunder those resources! They can’t escape; everything they carry is destined to be yours!"
"Stay away from that pond, it’s best if you evacuate the Forbidden Land of Thunder God first!"
Pang Jian issued orders one after another.
"A young God Slayer."
In the sky, the banner representing The Observer ceased to flutter.
No sinister and profound eyes were seen in the many hollowed holes of the sky, peering malevolently from another unknown realm at this world.
The Observer, retaining only a wisp of exceedingly feeble Divine Consciousness, transformed into an evil eye overlooking from above.
He was also prepared to sacrifice this wisp of Divine Consciousness.
"The puppet bodies of many lower-tier Alien Gods have been strangled here, the news will surely spread throughout the worlds by those remaining Alien Gods."
"A young warrior of the Purgatory Human Tribe is raising a multitude of Ming Prison Soul Bees, slaying God Spirits to absorb divinity and refine his Divine Sense, preparing to cast a novel and dazzling Spiritual Soul unseen from ancient times till today."
"This child..."
The self-musing Observer suddenly fell silent.
For Pang Jian had drifted over and suddenly appeared before Him.
"You still dare to stay here?"
Pang Jian frowned.
In this banner alone, he felt an extremely faint Divine Consciousness, so insignificant it wasn’t worth his effort to invade.
"I’ve left only a sliver of Divine Consciousness; its loss would not cause me heartache."
The Observer, now lacking multiple thought processes, observed the terrifying scene of the Thunder and Lightning converging on the silvery-white Thunder Pond with the last "hole" of perception, and said indifferently, "Do you know that there are existences that do not fear the Ming Prison Soul Bee?"
Pang Jian’s expression remained unchanged: "I am aware, such as the Thunder God."
During his first visit to the Forbidden Land of Thunder God, he had sensed the unease of the Bee King; the Bee Insect, true name Ming Prison Soul Bee, instinctively feared a God Spirit like the Thunder God.
The Bee Soul is too fragile, its strength lies in its ability to eat away at the Divine Consciousness of Alien Gods, which is the major advantage of the Bee Insect.
Against a dark and deep Thunder Tao, empowered by Thunderous Lightning, like a God Spirit of the Thunder God’s caliber, the Ming Prison Soul Bee’s major advantage is lost for it cannot consume the other’s Divine Consciousness.
The domineering Thunderous Lightning, a natural bane of soul-related entities, this is the law of heaven.
The Soul Bee is also constrained by the laws of the Great Tao.
"Hmm, you are quite intelligent after all."
The Observer affirmed and then added, "I must tell you some unfavorable news."
"Speak."
"The still and unmoving strands of sky-hanging Thunder and Lightning inherent in the Forbidden Land of Thunder God, which in the past did not converge upon the Thunder Pond, must have been intentionally controlled by the Thunder God."
"Before the Thunder God’s fall, He surely knew that His most trusted companion had betrayed Him."
"Because at the time when He accidentally injured Himself while perceiving the deeper Thunder Tao, not only did the seven Thunder Gods learn of it, but they could also precisely locate Him deep within the Thunder Prison."
"No one spread the news, no one led the way there; such a thing would have been impossible."
The Observer paused briefly before continuing, "Already grievously wounded, He was besieged and killed by the seven Thunder Gods, leading to the fragmentation of the Thunder Divine Court. The core Thunder Pond thus sank deep into the bowels of the earth."
"Because of the Thunder Pond’s presence at the heart of the earth, regardless of where the Forbidden Land of Thunder God wanders, it will naturally attract Thunder and Lightning from throughout the world."
"For thousands of years, so much lightning drawn by the Thunder Pond and gathered at the Forbidden Land of Thunder God has always, strangely, not flowed into the Thunder Pond."
"The reason for this is that once the Thunder Pond gathered lightning, its aura could no longer be concealed."
"The current Sovereign of the Thunder Prison, too familiar with both the Thunder God and the Thunder Divine Court, also knows the Thunder Pond all too well."
"Once the Thunder Pond shows any irregularity, He will detect this place immediately. And He can extend His Divine Consciousness through this Thunder Pond."
"As for you and your Ming Prison Soul Bees, they are of no use against the Lei Meng Beast God."
The Observer, without rushing to leave since He still retained a final thread of Divine Consciousness connected with his True Body, stated the deduced truths.
"His True Body can come over here?" Pang Jian sneered.
"No."
The Observer sighed, "Mysterious Fog has its own ways of operating the Great Tao which even the gods cannot fathom. This time, those who are able to step into this world, be they Human Race, other tribes, or beast tribes, have reached a considerably high level in both realm and Bloodline. No one, not even the gods, can break the laws established by the Mysterious Fog."
"God Spirits, as well."
"A God Spirit like myself can only attach a minuscule part of Divine Consciousness to a special object, and it’s the same for other God Spirits."
"However!"
The Observer’s tone took a turn, "This is the Forbidden Land of Thunder God, filled with too many violent Thunderbolts absorbed by the Thunder Pond. A Thunder God who has advanced through comprehending the Thunder Principal, if able to use a special object to transmit His Divine Consciousness here, would therefore turn this world into His Divine Realm."
"In His Divine Realm, where He also controls the most central part of the fragmented Thunder Divine Court—the Thunder Pond—"
"He would be invincible."
"You, and everyone you’ve brought, will be annihilated when His Divine Consciousness arrives."
The Observer provided the answer.
