Chapter 27: Chapter 27 Ye Moran (3)
His pupils contracted slightly, and then he displayed that nonchalant smile: "Do you think I care?"
Mu Yiliang felt a pang in her heart!
Again, he never missed a chance to remind her of this.
"You might not care about my feelings for you, but you should remember, besides being a woman who once loved you, I’m also a top hacker. Don’t push me to take action against you," Mu Yiliang said word by word.
"Once loved..." he repeated with a playful tone, a light of indiscernible meaning flashing in his eyes.
"Let go of me," Mu Yiliang said once more.
The man finally laughed, gradually releasing his hold on her, a trace of regret on his face: "What a pity."
"What exactly is your purpose, just say it," Mu Yiliang said coldly, "I don’t believe you’d come all this way just to sleep with me."
Ye Moran chuckled: "Yiliang, you’re always like this."
"Since you’re fine, I’ll get off the car," she made a move to open the car door.
The man grabbed her hand: "Do me a favor."
As expected...
Mu Yiliang sneered, turning her head to look at him: "How can I help you, President Ye?"
"Among the Yan Family’s major business pillars, finance is one of them. I need to know the Yan Family’s investment plans in finance for next year." He curved his lips.
Mu Yiliang raised an eyebrow: "Why should I help you?"
"Because, I know a secret about you." His smile became even more malicious, "Yiliang, you’re as mischievous as ever... After returning to the country, it seems you’ve appeared in front of others as another persona, huh? With such a beautiful face, why are you afraid of being seen?"
Mu Yiliang’s eyes flickered.
This really wasn’t much of a secret, anyone with a bit of interest among her friends in the United States could find out about her deliberate disguise.
She never considered the risk of being discovered, as she felt even if it happened, it wouldn’t cause much loss, so she never cared.
Only now, she’s playing two roles in front of Yan Sijue, and she doesn’t want that man to find out.
But she also doesn’t want to be threatened by Ye Moran. Over the years, she doesn’t know how much she has done for him.
Perhaps because of her talent in computing, this man, despite not loving her, still frequently showed up in front of her, often making ambiguous moves, teasing her.
Ridiculous that every time she took his assignments as sacred orders.
"This doesn’t really count as a secret, say whatever you want to whoever you want," Mu Yiliang said as she reached for the car door.
"Even if it’s to your husband, it doesn’t matter?" Ye Moran’s voice floated softly.
Mu Yiliang’s hand paused.
"If he saw you like this, would he still let go? I know you’ll divorce him sooner or later," Ye Moran’s voice was filled with certainty.
Mu Yiliang subtly exhaled a breath of relief. She had thought Ye Moran knew about her playing two roles. Now it seems he was merely guessing the purpose of her disguise and drawing conclusions from it.
"I didn’t expect you to rate me so highly," she smiled lightly, "But you’re overthinking. My husband isn’t as shallow as you think, maybe he would get so angry after knowing I’ve deceived him that he’d divorce me."
Hearing her speak so confidently about her husband, a flash of anger passed through Ye Moran’s eyebrows.
"So, you’re determined not to help me?"
