Chapter 155: Eduardo Ivanov’s New Woman!
Chapter 155: Eduardo Ivanov’s New Woman!
The infamous assassin’s lips curled into a smirk. Eduardo heard about her before. She worked mainly for money and killed mainly for money. Her disguise was what made her known as the flirty demoness.
She was clad in tight black leather pants that were comfortable to fight with and a bra that revealed her cleavages. Her long hair was tied into a ponytail, and a mask covered her face. No one knew what she looked like behind that face of hers.
"I was hoping to meet you, Eduardo Ivanov. I’ve been wondering... what does your blood taste like?""
’He hired this demoness too? Can I win against an assassin?’
Eduardo barely had time to react before she lashed out. The whip cracked through the air, slicing the fabric of his suit as he leapt back. His men tried to shoot her, but she was too fast, twisting and dodging with inhuman agility. With a flick of her wrist, the whip wrapped around one of Eduardo’s men, and a single yank sent him crumpling to the floor, his throat slashed open.
Eduardo cursed under his breath and picked up a second gun from the ground. He fired, but Flirty Demoness twisted her body mid-air, landing gracefully before launching her whip again. This time, it caught his wrist, slicing deep into his skin. He gritted his teeth against the pain and yanked back hard, pulling her off balance.
She landed in a crouch, eyes gleaming with excitement.
"Not bad, sweetheart. But, I’d like for you to bleed more. I like to see red... More red" she laughed loudly, like a maniac. He suddenly got reminded of another maniac he was living with.
Fabio.
He tossed his gun aside. This fight needed to end another way.
Flirty Demoness lunged at him, her whip spinning in arcs. Eduardo dodged left, then right, feeling the sting of the blade’s edge skim his shoulder. When she swung again, he caught the whip mid-air with his wounded hand and yanked her toward him. She stumbled, and in that moment of imbalance, he drove his knee into her stomach, sending her crashing against a stack of metal crates.
Panting, she glared up at him, a bead of blood trickling from the corner of her mouth.
"You... How dare you hit me?!!!"
Eduardo exhaled sharply, his fists clenched.
"Isn’t this the part when you beg for your life?" He questioned her.
Killing her would be easy, as expected. But he was not in the business of killing useful people, especially one as famous as the flirty demoness.
"Would you spare my life if I beg?" She tilted her head, grabbing the side of her stomach. She felt a pang of pain as she tried to move. His knee was strong enough to crack her rips and the crates hurt her back badly. But, she could endure the pain.
"Why don’t you try and see for yourself?" He asked, taking a step back.
Flirty Demoness chuckled, wiping the blood from her lip.
"You’re more lovely than I thought. However, as a lady, I wouldn’t plead for my life. Instead, let me work for you. That is to thank you for sparing my life" she said, stretching her hand to him. He shook her hands, with a wide grin. He doesn’t know what to do with her yet, but he’ll figure that out later.
Behind them, the fight had turned in Eduardo’s favour. The Capistrano men lay dead, the warehouse littered with bodies. His own men were also dead, there were just two of them wounded. The Capistrano master, seeing his men defeated, dropped to his knees in surrender.
Eduardo approached him, pressing the barrel of his gun against the man’s forehead.
"You lost. Hand over my goods."
The Capistrano master swallowed hard and turned his head towards the containers in the warehouse. He sprung up and staggered towards the containers. He brought out the keys and opened them. The stolen materials were there, untouched.
Satisfied, he stepped back.
"You aren’t going to kill me?" He asked.
"Do you want me to?" Eduardo frowned. The man shook his head.
"Next time," Eduardo murmured, "I won’t be so forgiving. So do yourself a favour and leave Russia tonight. If you spend your morning here, it will be the last time you see the sun," Eduardo threatened.
As he turned to leave, Flirty Demoness followed him.
"What would my position be? I can kill, but I’m not good in the kitchen"
Eduardo didn’t turn around to look at her. He simply walked out of the warehouse, blood dripping from his hand. He entered the car, wincing in pain.
"Master, are you alright? Should we head to the hospital?"
"I’m fine, it’s just a little graze"
From the other door, the flirty demon entered.
"I’ll treat you once we get home" she spoke smoothly to him.
"Master, who is this?" David asked.
Even Eduardo had no idea, but looking at the make-up and those deadly eyes of hers... It’s definitely the flirty demon. She always wore a disguise whenever she was on duty. But, she finally took them off her body. She wore a shirt stained with blood. She obviously stole them from one of the corpses. She looked really beautiful without the mask.
Her nickname name fitted her perfectly. No one would be able to recognise her, except Eduardo. Not even the injured men, since no one knew what she truly looked like.
"Your master saved me from those bad men" She pretended to be weak as she sniffled.
"Master?" David asked, wanting to hear the answer from Eduardo himself.
"She’s..." He stuttered, not knowing what to introduce her as.
"His woman." She flung her hair to the back, revealing her tattoo on her chest. "I’m his new woman. I’ve chosen to dedicate my body and my life to him"
David’s eyes widened as he felt his chest tightened. He looked away from Eduardo and swallowed hard. It hurt him more as Eduardo wasn’t denying what she said.
Because it wasn’t true.
"I’ll stay behind and clean up this mess, Master"
"No need for that. That old man would clean it up. I left him alive. Let’s head back home; I’m tired," he said.
Throughout the ride home, she clung to Eduardo’s arm. He looked at her, asleep, with her head leaning on his shoulder.
A few minutes ago, they were enemies. She would have ended his life, but he was lucky enough not to get killed by her. Now, she’s asleep beside him, letting her guard down.
He can’t trust her yet... Not yet. But, he can make good use of her. She has no relation with Fabio, which is why he accepted her. After trusting Viola, he could at least trust her next.
’Her? I don’t even know my woman’s name. How disappointing!’
