Chapter 200: Chapter 200: Still Lacking That Capability at Age 100_1

About a dozen seconds later, the door opened.

Huo Ting stood in the doorway, fuming, and glared at Tiger, "You stinky little cat!"

He was still mad at Tiger.

"Don’t be angry," Susu said to Huo Ting.

"Hmph!" Huo Ting turned his face away at a forty-five-degree angle.

He waited for a while, but Susu did not comfort him.

Huo Ting turned his face back, "Didn’t you see I’m angry?"

Susu nodded, "I saw."

"Then why aren’t you comforting me?"

"Oh, let me comfort you," Susu replied.

"You!" Huo Ting was almost choked by Susu’s response, "Is that how you comfort someone?"

"How should I comfort you then?"

She had never learned how, so she didn’t know how.

"You!" Huo Ting felt depressed but looking at Susu’s little face, he still did not go on to give her the cold shoulder.

"So you came to blame me too?" Huo Ting asked Susu.

Susu shook her head, "You were being nice to me, you were protecting me, I can’t say you were wrong!"

"You say you didn’t, but you still think I was somewhat wrong, don’t you?"

Huo Ting hummed softly, with a proud and coy expression on his face.

If the little thing dared to agree, he would stop talking to her!

"No, I really don’t know who is right and who is wrong," Susu answered.

"You don’t know? How can you not know! I disciplined that woman for your sake! And yet you won’t say I was right!" Huo Ting got upset again.

"But I really don’t know, Tiger couldn’t explain clearly, and I can’t guess. You can’t just call something right or wrong when you don’t know about it," Susu replied.

Tiger only told Susu that Huo Ting had frightened her sister-in-law today to protect her, but it also scared Bai Ze, which made Huo Ting unhappy.

And the Old Lady Qin only told Susu that her sister-in-law had said some unpleasant things.

Susu didn’t know anything beyond that and couldn’t guess either.

Although Bai Ze was known to be omniscient, able to see through the past, foresee the future, and bring good luck to avert misfortune, Susu had not mastered this skill.

She was kicked to the Lower Realm precisely because she had absolutely no such abilities at the age of a hundred—absolutely none, not at all.

Useless at everything, first in eating, she spent her days either drinking milk or sleeping...

"Humph..." Huo Ting snorted, still somewhat irritated and not entirely convinced.

"But if I had been there today, I would have been just as angry as you and would have hit someone!" Susu added.

Even though she wasn’t certain it was the right thing to do, she would definitely fight back if someone insulted her!

Upon hearing Susu’s words, Huo Ting’s face eased, "That’s more like it."

"Tingting, are you not angry anymore?" Susu asked.

"Mhm-hmm."

"Then let’s go give a gift to the upset sisters below!" Susu suggested.

By sisters, Susu was referring to the noble ladies who had been scared.

"What gift? Why should we give a gift?"

"Whenever I scared a child in the village, my mother would take me to give something tasty to the person I scared," Susu explained.

As she spoke, Susu pulled Huo Ting by the hand toward her room.

"Where are you taking me?" Huo Ting asked with an impatient face, but his steps willingly followed Susu’s lead.

Susu dragged Huo Ting into her room, then from a big cabinet, she pulled out a large wooden chest.

"No, not this one, this one contains gifts from my uncles and aunts, can’t give these away."

Susu dragged out another large wooden chest.

"Will they like what’s in here?" She worried.

"What are you doing?" Huo Ting asked curiously, looking at Susu.
