Chapter 671: Chapter 671 Qi Weixin (6)_1

After seeing Zhao Li off, Ruan Jiaojiao started to feel exhausted. Considering that there were several core subjects in the afternoon, including English, she hurriedly lay down on the desk and started taking a nap.

Xiu Xi sat beside her, reading a book while fanning her with a notebook.

Although the surroundings were noisy, Ruan Jiaojiao still fell into a deep sleep. Her arm inevitably started to ache after being used as a pillow for a while, and after switching arms a few times, Xiu Xi took his backpack out from his desk and laid it on his legs to let her rest her head on it and sleep.

Ruan Jiaojiao was drowsy and did not fully wake up. She just lay however Xiu Xi directed her to.

The schoolbags nowadays were made of a military green fabric. Ruan Jiaojiao found it quite comfortable to rest her head on, and soon fell back into a deep slumber.

Kuang Xuan had just witnessed the whole process and pulled the absentminded Little Fatty aside, whispering, "Ruan Lei, do you think the class monitor could like your sister?"

What he didn’t know was that even though his voice was very low, Xiu Xi could hear him loud and clear.

He looked down at the sleeping Ruan Jiaojiao in his arms, poked her chubby little cheek with his finger, and after seeing she had no reaction, continued to focus on his exercises.

He had already realized that in this world, authority was not measured by Combat Power, but by money and power. Although there were many ways to obtain these two things, as of now, knowledge was the only path available to him.

Therefore, for her to have a better future and the freedom to live as she wished, he desired money and even more so, power. Even if it was just a minor role of a class monitor, he was willing to fight for it if it could make life better.

Whatever Little Fatty replied, he didn’t pay any more attention, instead maintaining his position to let the person on his legs sleep comfortably.

After the nap time bell rang, the classroom didn’t quieten down. Kids of their age were brimming with energy and didn’t like to nap at all. But like it or not, they had to sleep because their class monitor’s gaze was menacing.

Just one look was enough to have everyone’s head down on their desks. Even if they weren’t sleeping, they didn’t dare to secretly act up, worried that the class monitor would note it down—with minutes and seconds, no less!

In the eyes of all the classmates, Xiu Xi was practically no different from a Demon. If one had to point out a difference, perhaps it was that he was better-looking than a demon?

As soon as the rest bell rang, the class teacher came in to check and was surprised yet pleased to see the class so quiet. However, noticing that one person was missing from the second group, she hesitated for a moment before remembering that it was Weixin’s seat.

She walked into the classroom, tapped Zeng Qi who was still awake, and pointed at Weixin’s place.

Upon seeing this, Zeng Qi instinctively looked at Xiu Xi’s seat. Considering the class monitor’s fearsome reputation, she shook her head in the end, deciding that it was better not to offend him in any way.

The class teacher frowned, stood up straight, and turned back to her office.

She had barely sat down when she saw Huang Li walking in front, with Qi Weixin trailing far behind her.

"Teacher Hu," Huang Li greeted with a smile as she entered.

Weixin’s parents were both teachers, but they taught ninth grade in the same school. Since they were all colleagues, naturally, they had a good relationship, and the teacher had watched Weixin grow up.

Now, seeing Weixin walking in from afar behind Huang Li, with her head down and seemingly in a despondent mood, the teacher immediately asked, "Weixin, what’s wrong with you?"
