The Ruanlin Family matriarch scoffed with her head lowered, letting Lady Li continue her chatter without responding.

It was only when she asked if the deal would go through that she lifted her head and made a helpless expression, "This really isn’t a matter of not wanting to help you, but that restaurant is my son’s business, not mine."

Assisted by Wei’an, old Master Shu got out of the car, first nodding slightly towards the Ruanlin Family matriarch, and then lifted his head to inspect the building in front of him, his already furrowed brows now tightening even further.
