The Hunter’s Lively Wife -
Chapter 1263
Chapter 1263: Chapter 1263
"Yunjin, tired?"
Gu Ya bent down to look at his little wife, sprawled lazily on the quilt.
Indeed, Su Yunjin was somewhat weary. Hearing Gu Ya’s voice, without opening her eyes, she murmured coquettishly and rubbed her head against the quilt.
Seeing his little wife like this, Gu Ya only felt her darlingness touching. Moved, he couldn’t resist bending down and kissing her forehead twice.
Su Yunjin felt Gu Ya kissing her and opened her eyes to look at him. Gu Ya kissed her again, still on her forehead.
"Yunjin, if you are tired, just rest at home, and I’ll make another trip up the mountain," Gu Ya said as he helped his little wife remove the shoes from her feet.
He also pulled the quilt over her, and Su Yunjin peeked out her head to watch Gu Ya, knowing he was going to complete the remaining steps of brewing fruit wine.
So, she asked him, "Husband, how long will you be?"
She wanted to wait for Gu Ya to come back and have dinner together. Gu Ya looked at his little wife.
"Yunjin, I’ll come back after I finish with the wine," Gu Ya also wanted to come back early to be with his little wife, finish the remaining tasks with the workers on the mountain, and then come back to his little wife.
Su Yunjin nodded, "Husband, then you go and get busy!" Su Yunjin let go of Gu Ya, and Gu Ya instructed his little wife to rest well before leaving the house.
Su Yunjin was somewhat exhausted, and after Gu Ya left, she fell asleep directly. Upon waking, Su Yunjin saw that outside it had already gone completely dark, and a lamp had been lit in the room.
Surely Gu Ya had come back from the mountain.
Somewhat hungry.
Su Yunjin sat up.
Just when she was about to put on her shoes and go downstairs to check, she saw Gu Ya pushing the door open and entering, "Yunjin, you’re awake?" Gu Ya had prepared a nourishing soup to replenish his little wife’s body and had simply cooked a pot for dinner, as Gu Ya, being a man, wasn’t very good at cooking and couldn’t make meals as delicious as his little wife did.
It was just that when he came back and saw his little wife hadn’t awakened, fearing to disturb her rest, Gu Ya just made do and roughly cooked a pot, enough for a simple dinner.
"Husband, did you finish all the tasks with the wine?" Su Yunjin looked at the approaching Gu Ya, still groggy from sleep, yawning even as she spoke.
Gu Ya walked up to his little wife, his tone doting, "Still want to sleep?" His little wife looked sleepy and clearly seemed like she hadn’t had enough sleep.
Su Yunjin had slept almost all afternoon and although she had slept so long, she didn’t really feel like sleeping anymore, she was just not fully awake yet.
"Husband, I’ll go make the food! Let’s just have noodles." Not knowing that Gu Ya had already made dinner, Su Yunjin thought that the meal wasn’t ready and intended to cook.
Gu Ya stopped his little wife, "Yunjin, no trouble needed. Just wait here, I’ll go outside and bring the food in, and we can eat inside."
The wind was strong at night and his little wife had just woken up; Gu Ya was worried about her catching a cold so he suggested eating inside. Su Yunjin looked at Gu Ya in surprise.
"Husband, did you say you’ve cooked?" Usually, between the two of them, it was mostly she who cooked, and Gu Ya only helped occasionally, mostly during her cooking.
Like gutting fish and butchering chickens, tasks that Su Yunjin dared not do, she left to Gu Ya. Gu Ya was very skilled at these tasks, quickly preparing both fish and chickens.
